Lol, I'm not sure myself xD but she did it anyway. If got to the point where she'd see me freaking out and she'd sigh, go get a shoe, and kill it. It would have been the most adorable thing if I wasn't worried about the spider crawling towards me xD
Hahaha not sure whether that's cruel or amusing xD
Haha, yeah! I used to get my little sister to do it (this is when she was 2 or 3). She used to be fearless xD
Lol yeah sometimes I make my father kill them xD

Lol, same here...though the spider isn't so fortunate because I slowly back away, then call for someone braver than me to get rid of it
Yeah. I don't like spiders either but I usually just keep my distance and no one gets hurt LOL
Haha, true, and they don't fly all around making them hard to avoid.
At least spiders don't fly in your face. Ugh. Haha
Agh, I understand that >.< they make me feel uneasy. Though, I'd sooner like to encounter a moth than a spider.
I'm deathly afraid of moths.
>.< that's even scarier!
I just can't stand snakes/frogs/spiders/bugs, etc.

where I live, there are sometimes rattlesnakes and stuff >__>
Yeah. It does. So if the worst were to happen, I'll do that, and live at home, bus/carpool there with my friend. Works out a lot better for me.
Plus, no frogs or snakes Dx I keep hearing them (the frogs) everywhere and keep panicking at the sight of each snake looking twig I see ever since my roommate told me about her encounter with one here.
Whoa, really? That sounds like a good deal.

>.> right? I know I wouldn't be as behind on my work if I had my own place because I wouldn't have the compulsory need to go home every weekend to escape this place.
*Random* just checked the tuition at CSULA. It's half of UCSB's and has twice as many degree programs. I will seriously transfer out if my situation becomes dire here.
And a lot of schools require you to live in the dorms your first year >__>
They are -.-
Yes, housing is expensive, and considering the quality of the environment you're forced to live in, it's over-priced. They're basically charging for convenience.
Geez, people are jerks...
Housing is pretty expensive 0___o Especially at a bunch of the schools I'm applying to.
Same here. We're not off too great, but we're right at the point where we're too "rich" to be considered "poor" but the same applies the other way. If we could afford school, we wouldn't be more or less begging the state to help pay. What annoys me even more is that when I go as the Fin Aid office what my options are they basically tell me that if I can't afford the school I shouldn't be there, they don't even let me start the loan process.
That's understandable :) I wouldn't either. Which tempts me even more to just switch to the cheaper CalState schools. I'm pretty sure I'd cut costs a lot, especially since I wouldn't need housing. The degree is worth more or less the same. If anything my UCSB one would be undervalued because of its party reputation -.-
Yeah, actually my family's financial situation is weird and we have savings so I don't think we would even get need-based aid...but I don't want my parents spending their life savings on some fancy school haha.
Thanks! Good luck to you, if you try getting a scholarship elsewhere.
I really hope you get one! I don't want anyone else to deal with financial aid problems like me. If you avoid having to deal with the state or government for aid, you'll be fine. I'm tempted to apply elsewhere *has no school pride/loyalty* where they'll actually give me, at the very least, the merit portion of my aid.
Oh, lucky. Yeah some of the schools I'm applying to are pretty competitive...but I won't go unless I get a merit scholarship LOL
Otaku Legend | Posted 12/01/12 | Reply
Really? D: that's horrible. They must be very competitive. It only took a 3 to get an exemption from taking the English placement test at my school.
Some of my schools only take a 5 on the AP Lang (I got a 4) and some schools don't even let you get out of classes because of the AP exams...
If you do well on your AP's you'll be fine. If I had managed a 4 on AP Lit, I wouldn't be in this class :( but the Language one saved me from the Writing 1 and 2 classes.

I hope I don't have to do many English courses...
Yeah, but oh well. At least both grades were decent. That gives me a bit more room for error on the final exam or paper. I need to study for my other classes too, and frankly, I care more about my history and Italian than this. If I pass it I won't need another English course.
I hate when that happens...
Thanks!! I seriously fail to see the logic in the grading. I seriously think my first essay was a lot better and it got a lower grade...

I got a B on my Merchant of Venice essay >D
How I did it, I have no idea >.<

Be afraid >.< It's scary
I'm so afraid of college English. LOL.
It does! I hope we find someplace affordable with parking. Everything is too far away...
xD yeah. My history final doesn't seem too bad. If I keep reviewing my Italian I can mangage...it's English, both the final and the weird essay, I'm worried about. As long as I manage a passing grade for I'll be happy.
That sounds fun! ^__^
Thanks! Yes, we will survive. Always do xD
Yes, you must! Me and my friend are thinking of getting an apartment together next year (no dorms, can't stand it).
Thank you! Good luck on those essays!! We must survive!

I'm jealous, there's nothing like that for me to go to near where I live :P I MUST FIND ANIME FRIENDS IN COLLEGE SO I CAN GO THEN ASDFGHJKL;
Good luck on your finals! I have like six essays to do for a couple scholarships apps at this one college before my break starts. I must live!!
