Hi and Welcome!

This is just a world for me to post a bit about me and anything I find interesting.

About Me

Favorite Anime/Manga: Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, DuRaRaRa!!, Soul Eater, Hetalia, Code Geass, Death Note, Pokemon, Tsubasa, xxxHolic, Fruits Basket, Big Windup!, Eden of the East, Clannad, D. Gray-man, Blue Exorcist, Ouran High School Host Club, Black Butler, Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!, K-ON!, Bakuman, Cardcaptor Sakura

Favorite Video Games: I mostly play RPGs, my all time favorite is Kingdom Hearts (the whole series). I also like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Pokemon games :D, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, some racing games and baseball or soccer games, Assassin's Creed

Music: I'll listen to anything as long as I like it. I usually listen to J-Rock, J-Pop, Alternative and Punk, Spanish Rock, Classical and some Pop...the list goes on...

Sports: I love baseball and soccer

End of the Olympics...

The 2012 London Olympics are over...I ended up watching a lot of sports I don't normally watch and enjoying them. The end, however, leaves me with nothing to do for the most part of the day. And considering my sister starts school on Tuesday, I'll end up with even less to do from now till the say I start college in late September (whether or not my parents will have to take out a huge loan to ensure my spot this fall depends on the IRS >.>)

I was able to get a room in the dorm complex I wanted, so that's a plus. I already applied for a job in the dinning commons; I'm hoping to get cashier or something...I don't think they'd want me to clean or cook nor do I think they should trust me with fragile tableware...If I don't get a job there or if I just don't like it I'll look for another job.

In the meantime, I think I'll spend my last few weeks of freedom learning how to use GIMP more effectively, finishing up Assassin's Creed II again (I love the random outbursts in Italian of the townspeople) and starting prepare for a Disney Internship or College Program next year (which I will definitely apply for). I really need to improve my interview skills and my resume needs a lot of work (still don't have a cover letter, or any idea how to write one). I think I might do the College Program first, then the Internship.

I hope Winter Break won't go as fast as the Summer...I have a feeling I'm going to need all the rest I can get...

Pics from California Adventure ^-^

By now you probably all know I'm obsessed with Disney ^-^' Here are some pics from my latest trip! Which reminds me, I still haven't posted the WDW ones...

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree! This was fun, and a wilder ride than I expected. The highlight was Mater's safety spiel in Spanish xD (Guido had the cutest spiel in Spanish at the Flying Tires)

Luigi's Casa Della Tires ♥ Inside you'll find the attraction: Luigi's Flying Tires! They actually fly, and they're loads of fun. (Think bumper cars...just that you're riding a tire...that's kinda like a hovercraft...on a gigantic air hockey field...)

Guido! (my favorite character in Cars along with Luigi)

That's me on the ride :D with my sister! I loved the Italian music played in the queue and during the ride itself.

The beach balls! We weren't able to get one, but had fun chasing after them.

They've even got Mater and McQueen.

The Radiator Springs Racers!

Hmmm...I didn't take as many pics of the rest of the park...I guess I'll have to remember that next time...

This is one of my favorites ^-^

My Disney California Adventure Trip!

On Sunday, me and my family headed to the Disney California Adventure Park! This was our first trip there together (I went for GradNite). We always passed on visiting this park because...well...we just love Disneyland so much that it always won over any desire to go to the other park. That wasn't the case this time, while we did miss Disneyland, we just HAD to see the new Cars Land for ourselves! And it did not disappoint! Once you get there, it feels like you stepped into the movie! Radiator Springs looked exactly the same! And the rides were fun! The best, by far, was the e-Ticket Ride, Radiator Springs Racers!

Cars Land was amazing, as was the redesigned entrance plaza, Buena Vista Street...if only LA really looked like that! We rode the trolley to Hollywood Land and got our FastPasses to the Racers (without one, wait times were about 2 hours).

There was so much to do! And almost everywhere you'd catch some show...We missed the lighting at sunset at Radiator Springs, but we did see it at night! It was beautiful!

Next time, I'll try to plan a trip to both parks, just not on the same day...I like spending all day in one park.

Research...

I did a little research on clubs at UCSB and found that they indeed have an anime club :D and by the looks of it needs a little help expanding >:D which gave me a rush of ideas that I myself still haven't sorted...I'm also planning on taking up either tennis or Aikido "cause I want to lose weight.

On another note, I was thinking of making another world where I would post all the overdue Disney trip reviews I wanted to do...and other random stuff, maybe a game (I really enjoyed TwinkLes' Name that Quote world~!) Any thoughts?

The Olympics are taking up a lot of my time >.< I end up watching even sports I thought I didn't care for. But I do enjoy watching swimming, gymnastics and soccer ^-^ Hetalia has affected the way I look at the games a bit XD Poor Arthur hasn't managed to beat Alfred in the medal count.

Anyway...hope you've all been great! Enjoy this song (it's been stuck in my head since yesterday)

Schedule's Set

I registered for my courses in the Fall ^-^ I'm taking World History, Intro Lit, Library Research and Italian (that last one gave me a bit of trouble) I wanted more classes but these filled my 14 unit limit. Everyone in Slytherin wanted more classes. The Orientation people decided to use Harry Potter themed code names and we just happened to be Slytherin, which is fine by me, the only other house I like more is Ravenclaw...our leader even decorated the room to fit our name.

The second day of Orientation was a lot better than the first. Despite the beach being a 5 minute walk away, I didn't go...it was too cold California's bipolar weather continues

I finally got to talk to my roommate. She was pretty nice. We're going to be in the same English Lit class, so that's a plus.

I don't think I'm going to enjoy being in the dorms too much though...they were too small and cramped...and I don't like sharing the bathroom...I hope the other dorms are different...

Meh, I'll probably come home constantly to escape.
