I was laying there on my back breathing heavily.I didn't dare move with the sword tip at my throat. There was no way for me to get out of this. All this training for nothing.
I looked over where my katana was laying. If only it would give me one last bit of power. One last bit of strength to finish this fight. But all it did was lay there gleaming in the light. Like its master was only training once again.
Looking at the blade that was at my throat again, I felt a tear go down my cheek. The first tear in years. The first tear since that harried day. Looking up from the blade to the owner I felt another go down my other cheek. I wanted to believe that this was just another game between the two of us. That he would take his blade back and start laughing at the way he won so easily. But I knew that the only way that the blade was going to leave my throat was from him giving me mercy or from him getting ready for the last swing of the blade to kill me.
Closing my eyes I remember the day this all started and the journey I took.

TA DA~ This is the Beginning of my newly written story. Actually this is all I have done. Sigh I'm slacking. But I have my reasons. Writers Block on a rewrite. I know right Who knew rewriting a story would be so hard. Well it is! Anyway. I hope to get more done over Thanksgiving brake. So enjoy this little bit of the story.
