<3333333333 Good, sort of electronica song. I love the chorus. :)

1. I've started watching Heroes today, and I already love it. :)))) However, Megavideo is a dick and will only let me watch 72min of video in a sitting, so I'm only half way through Episode 2 in Season 1. I hope I can catch up before the new season starts (without burning my eyes out)!!!

2. So... did you hear about HL2E3 supposedly having a deaf character now? I think it's interesting, but... a little bit out-of-the-blue, if you catch my drift. Not to offend, but I think it's a pretty peripheral idea; I know they've already lined up a story about how Alyx's old goo-goo crush is deaf, but how will it actually relate to the story? And what about people that don't know sign-language... is Alyx giving lessons?

3. I'm just waiting for Black Mesa mod, now. At least they let us know how progress is coming! AND IT'S COMING OUT THIS YEARRRRR!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD I'm happy.

4. I'm also not doing homework when I should be. And I'm making my spanish summer homework (9 hours of listening to spanish conversation/television/radio/etc) easier by watching movies with subtitles, lol! :) I watched Pan's Labyrinth, which was SO GOOD (but soooo sad!), and I'm going to watch Che Part 1 and Part 2, which will deplete the time left to about 3 hours. Yay! :))))

5. I just got Ryan Farish's 2 new albums Wonderfall and Movement in Light the other day, and I love them boooothhhhh. But I'm such a horrible fan, not checking on his iTunes page until, like, 9 months after they are released, lol. I LOVE YOU MR. FARISH!!! ; ;;;;;;

I have to go out to my Uncle's birthday dinner now... so bye, until next time guys! :)

Currently Listening: You Picked Me by A Fine Frenzy

A song from a Yullen FST that I picked up on Livejournal somewhere... I just like FSTs because it gives me an array of recommended music. :) This particular FST had a lot of good bands on it... but I already love A Fine Frenzy. :)))) Gorgeous music!!

1. Mass Effect. My sister and I got it at the mall the other day, and I've found out that it is one of the most amazing games everrrrr... A. AMAZING graphics. It's like watching a movie!! B. Really in-depth and riveting storyline... able to pick your own background instead of a pre-made story? Cool!! C. Choosing your own dialogue to either be evil or good or neutral, which opens up new endings and conversation topics! There is so much to this game, it's just mind-blowing. We play in, like, 5 hour intervals, lol. It's awesome.

2. I've been watching videos of kittens on Youtube, lolllll!! I can't get enough of kittens and puppies and cute baby animals. c: It makes me want to go out and scoop up every animal in the local SPCA... I only wish I could! It's one of my goals when I'm older.... adopt as many animals as I can afford. Personally, as much as I love kittens, I would try to adopt mostly older, less-popular cats, because it would be really hard for them to get homes versus, young and affectionate cats. They all deserve homes, even if they bite you at first, haha.

3. Frinkle Frinkle little far, how I wonder is a cat.

4. I've been drawing Link and Allen all over my sketchbook now. I think I filled up a whole page last night while watching Chelsea play Mass Effect, lol. They're so funnnnn.... but I think I may make Allen a little OOC (too happy, like how he was earlier in the manga). But still. LinkxAllen is my primary ship, now. Yullen 2nd, AllenxLenalee 3rd.

5. Breakfast now! MMmmmmm!!

Torchwood Mini-Rant

I hate Russell T. Davies. Seriously.

First Tosh, then Owen, now Ianto. And of course Jack goes into outer space. Are they planning to rid themselves of the whole cast? What the f is going to happen in the 4th series? The day to day life of Rhys and Gwen???

ILU Ianto. You were my favorite from the very beginning. Not because of the whole fling with Jack, either. You are just a sensible, down-to-earth character that the show really needed.

I think if the writers want to do something reeeeeeallly cool, they can bring back the glove, and make Jack resurrect Ianto, since taking the life from Jack wouldn't really do anything at all, since he can't die anyway. :)

Writers are stupid. People are stupid. This is even worse how I felt at the House season finale this year. No closure for Huddy fans. >:(

Currently Listening: Ocean Eyes

Owl City's new album, and a gem of the music industry. <3333 My favorite songs so far are Fireflies, If My Heart Was a House, and Vanilla Twilight. :) Adam Young takes charge of the best lyrics that the world has ever seen, in my opinion! He's amazinggggg <3

1. I've been sitting here reading Natsume Yuujinchou on OneManga for the past few hours, lol. I love Madaraaaaaaa especially in his Lucky Cat form! :) He's such a fickle figure; "I'LL EAT YOU" in the morning, "OK NVM NOT TODAY" two minutes later. And Natsume is just a ball of cute adorability! The whole plot may seem trivial at first; every chapter is a different story, with no main antagonist or crime against the human race... Just Natsume returning names to various spirits.... I think I like that about it. It doesn't stray from the main point with huge arcs of nonsense KHR JK ILU REBORN, but rather says "OK this is what we're going to do. We're going to shine light on every ghost in the Book Of Friends!" It's good.. I need to keep reading.

2. Managed to play my way through the HL2 franchise again... And started getting pissed off at the nonexistence of Episode 3 again. Dude, I could churn out Episode 3 by myself in the time that Valve has taken (don't take that seriously though). I NEED GORDON TO LEAD ME TO THE BOREALIS.

3. I did not expect such a huge response on my Pokémon thing. I guess that shows how people buckle under fandom, eh? Haha. :) I won't though; I'll keep on uploading personal work (to the may or dismay of you all), and I won't spam my account with shiny boys and magical girls from pre-existing conditions series. I don't expect a huge response on my Wigglyella piece, only because it doesn't involve the most popular character in the franchise being choked by an underrated, yet still somewhat popular character. But I loved doing it... I love Wigglytuff! <3 More to come.

4. I need to relearn the Pokérap. Seriously.

5. I'm going to start trying to reply to comments, haha. Apparently my front-page endeavor has prompted some to comb through my gallery and sprinkle comments every here and there... It's surprising what fanart prompts! I'm not used to all of this attention, haha!! You guys are all so awesome, and I love you all.

6. Harry Pott-head movie was AWESOME AND EPIC AND I LOVED IT except for Ginny. I am totally not a fan of HarryxGinny, and never have been. It's so awkwarddddd... It's like a kid-crush gone haywire and out of hand! I just can't see them together. Ever. Which is why I hated the epilogue in Deathly Hallows. Gross! I love RonxHermione though. c: Always and forever a fan of them! <333333 I'm really excited for the first part of the Deathly Hallows movie. It'll be freaking WIN.

7. Life is starting to get busier.... school starts in late-August (I think), and summer assignments are becoming startlingly apparent. My 2nd cousin is visiting from Mexico until the end of next week, and my cousins from Houston are going to be coming up for their kids' birthdays this weekend. And here I am going to bed at midnight and waking up at like 7 in the AM, lol. Life is hard, but that is why God made chocolate and Natsume Yuujinchou. :)

Bye guys!

Currently Listening: Letters From The Sky by Civil Twilight

In context with Harper's Island, this song makes me want to cry, lol. Cal and Chloe were some of the best characters in the series, but compared to any show/movie/series that I've seen, they win hands-down at the Most Romantic Death contest. Otherwise, it's an extremely amazing, low-down song. Beautiful.

BEWARE: THIS POST IS PRETTY MUCH ALL SPOILER (AND RANTRANTRANT) FOR THE HARPER'S ISLAND SERIES FINALE. If you haven't watched the show, then go to Harper's Island on CBS and watch the episodes online, or just read ahead and spoil yourself/not understand anything and confuse yourself.

My mom pitched me the speculation this morning, before the season finale, that Shea was the daughter of Wakefield, as well as his accomplice. This explained Madison's freakish behavior (bad genes), as well as why she and Madison were always left alone while the others went to hunt for Wakefield. She was adopted by the Wellingtons, and had been trying to kill everyone for A) revenge of being adopted, B) Wellington's money, which she would use to start a new life with just she, Madison, and Wakefield. It also would have explained why when Madison was missing, she wasn't hurt or harmed in any way (grandfather loved her), and that she was even fed in the tunnels (by Shea). Also, why Madison was so sympathetic to Wakefield, calling him her "new friend" (probably Shea would have told her to say that instead of "Grandpa" to throw off suspicion).

But no. Of course it was Henry, who I ruled out a long time ago because it would have been too predictable. I guess I really hated it because he was totally out of character, at least the character that the show developed him to be. I imagined him as a kind, valiant, and sympathetic character with nothing more in mind than to marry Trish, keep her safe, and spend the rest of his life with her. Heck, he seemed as though he wanted to protect everyone there (so I thought); always at the front of the group, volunteering to accompany people to a destination with Sully and/or Danny, putting everyone's safety above his own. But no, of course all of that was just a façade to get Abby to live in an empty house with him (foreverrrrrr!) based on a statement made 16 years ago whilst they were in the prime of their youth! And he ended up being just mentally insane with some deranged form of a Peter Pan Complex.

My favorite characters were Danny, Cal, Chloe, Jimmy, and Henry. I really adored the character that they had made him out to be; confident, sweet, intelligent, friendly, and hot as heck. For all of that to get turned inside out in the blink of an eye? I was confused. They made him explain his motives, but... they were unsatisfying and insipid.

He was adopted. In every show on television, one of the characters finds out that they are adopted, and they don't go prancing around killing all of the people they knew and loved in that "adopted" life in some twisted father and son outing! They say, "Ok, you lied to me. You get the cold shoulder for 2 weeks and then I will love you again, but I must be able to see my real parents," and the adopted parents are like "Go for it, son, we love you!"

His mother "abandoned" him. Well suddenly I think that was a good idea based on the fact that his father is a psychopath? She put him up for adoption (better than dumpster baby) and found a wonderful, normal, loving family for him to live with. She even stayed in contact with them until the parents were killed, letting him play with her other child (Abby) throughout their youth! He was in their home, she was caring for him when he was over. And even after, they were on the same island for the rest of their lives (until they both died). If that doesn't scream "I'm Sorry", then I don't know what does.

Abby. OK, this was the stupidest. When they were, what, about 8 or 9 years old, Abby says, in a "pressed for time" moment, "I wish you and I could live together forever". Yeah. That's the one thing that has stuck through his head for the next 16 years of his life? One in the moment phrase from a girl he saw just every summer? Nothing else mattered, not the care of his adoptive family, not the countless friends he made, not the amazing life he lived before meeting Daddy again, and not even the girl he "fell in love with" (Trish)??? No, of course with out a doubt Abby was the one he must live his life for. So he kills everyone that she loves, everyone that he loves, just so they can live in an empty house on a lonely island, and then make the man she loved (Jimmy) out to be the red herring?

When Abby woke up in the house, that was when I started doubting my faith in the show. Henry was a crazy madman trying to force his half-sister to live with him in an environment reminiscent of Misery! It was creepy. Creepier than it should have been. His character was just ruined for me when he started sweet-talking her, telling her "he'd explain everything" and that the could live there forever. I thought was going to be sort of a showdown situation between Wakefield, his son/daughter (not in a childlike, creeper state of mind; more professional, mature) and Henry (not crazy), Jimmy, and Abby, instead of Kooky Henry and Abby living in a lone house on an empty, tainted island.

It was stupid. After the first episode this evening, my mom, my cousin, and I all decided that it would be the best ending if everything was Abby's horrible nightmare the night before departing for the island. I would have liked it if she went to the boat and checked under it somehow (for Cousin Ben), and found out that there was really no one there, and that everything was just a horrible dream, and nothing more. Everyone lived, and Henry was not some stupid psycho.

Just anyone but my favorite characters, and for better reasons than the Crazy-Mofo Genes. It should have been Shea....or Maggie, just being a cra-hay-zee local.

It's awful, because I adored everything about the whole idea and series except the finale! It's the only reason why I wish there was another season, though I have no idea what the premise to that would be... Wakefield is somehow resurrected/survives a stab to the heart (and in the back, metaphorically), and having his body burned in a horrific fire? No. That, and I don't like sequels when none of the good, original characters from the first season/series are left the story tries to recover from a downfall like that.

:(

PS: Harper's Globe is "WTF" for me. I don't get any of it or what it's supposed to be about. The videos are so stupid, lol.
