Currently Listening: A Little Too Not Over You by David Archuleta

I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove David Archuleta (and David Cook)! How cool is it that their albums came out within, like, a week of each other? I almost died; they're both flawless.

I don't feel like uploading any art or socializing on here lately. :/ Maybe I'll upload a few speedpaints or holiday pictures later on. But now I'm actually kind of getting tired of this; school is fun but time-consuming, and I actually have a good social life right now. I'll probably be on long hiatusesesess. Don't expect quick replies to anything! So here's a bunch of updates until my next post.

1. Volleyball won State yesterday! :))) It was all the way down in San Marcos though. That's 6 hours away. But luckily, I got to sleep while my friends Lauren and Katherine watched movies. It proved to be really really really fun.

2. Played SotC again todayyyy..but I beat like..2.

3. Going to go watch Fallout 3 when I'm done with this.

4. Then around 4 I'm going to see The Boy in Striped Pajamas.

5. Going to see Twilight on Tuesday or Wednesday with Lauren and Jorge. I can't say anything bad about it though, or I can't go. :/ I have 1 strike out of 3.

6. Saw V actually wasn't too scary.

7. James Bond was really good.

8. I actually have a lot of homework over break.

9. I want to go shoppingggggggggggggg. All my clothes are summer clothes. :(

10. I want to go to Baylor for undergrad degree, then RISD for a grad.

11. I actually do not want to have a career in art. History is sounding really good right now.

12. Samurai Usagi is super super cute.

13. I'm going to Costa Rica next summer with a few Spanish students for like...9 days. :))))) It'll be super super fun!

14. I unintentionally converted my sister to Twilightism by letting her read the book. Craaaaaaaaap. :((((((

15. Still want to go shoppingggggggggg.

FALLOUT!

Currently Doing: Nothing.

Off to a shower after this... 1. Obama won! However, due to discrimination at my school (it's pretty much a rich, white, republican school) people were punished. As in, a lot of students were putting down Obama (along with his supporters, ...

Currently Listening: Superhuman by Chris Brown

An absolutely gorgeous duet with Keri Hilson!! I've been rather obsessed with this song since like...Thursday. Not so crazy, if you actually listen to it (especially around 1:50). Well, no, seeing as how most people on here hate rap / prefer anime characters singing, I guess I shouldn't try to infer anything. Anyway, this song and Take You Down are pretty wonderful.

1. No chance to sit down all this week, even today! Well, earlier today at least; my friend Libby was over, and we were working on a project over Charlemagne for about 12 hours. It was crazy stuff, but totally fun to dress up like a maniac and parade around with a pillow up my shirt. Oh, but Taylor: what will the neighbors think?

2. Fable 2 = awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome!!! My sister has been playing it almost non-stop (whereas I'm stuck at my desk doing homework) and I've been in to watch her for a little bit; that game is epic cool. But here I'm thinking Chelsea's going to be a hero, but she wants to be a villian, as always. Oh well, the game still really makes up for it. The designs, atmosphere, and concept art to die for!

3. Obama for the win!

4. Here's the laydown for Homecoming Week at my school:
Monday was Blast from the Past, so I dressed up as a flapper. People could immediately tell, and they all liked it because most girls did either 80s or 60s, so it was really different.
Tuesday was Tacky Tuesday, wherein I dressed up like a raver, basically. I was all highlighter colors and layer upon layer of clothing, which people again thought was cool. I'm probably going to be in the video yearbook for dressing up.
Wednesday was Western Wednesday, which I didn't really stand out on. However, most of the other girls looked more like Western sluts than anything, so I think that's a good thing that I wore pants and a button-up shirt. I did wear bright colors. :)
Thursday was Superhero Day, wherein I dressed up as BUCKETHEAD KID! I had to explain that he wasn't an "official superhero" to a lot of people, but everyone adored the bucket. My mom wasn't too pleased, though, because I used one of our old pails (and painted it with acrylic) then used her spatula on top. But, it was worth it; girls were almost all Catwoman, and Guys were almost all "We're too cool for this crap, but here's a cape anyway" man.
Friday was Spirit Day, wherein I wore a Red Out shirt. Red Out is just an event that goes on during Founder's Week at my school. Everyone who was anyone was wearing a Red Out shirt, so I didn't stand out too much.

5. Driving School is officially OVER! It was all worth it to see the penguin dance. However, I still have to do drive times, where I just sit in the car with the instructor and drive around for an hour. That shouldn't be too hard though.

6. I have a Facebook! I try to get on there frequently, so if you want to talk you could ask me for it.

7. Didn't have a date for homecoming, but it was still really fun. I just went with my friend Libby, and we met up with some people there. Libby and this guy, Paul, tried to get in the kid's play area to get on the bounce house while me and this other guy watched, but they couldn't. They were going to pretend Paul was retarded, but the teacher for the Special ED kids was the one letting people in, so they couldn't go through with it. It was hilarious to watch, though. Anyway, the game was really good; 27-0 in our favor, with fireworks afterwards! Then Libby and I went to the dance after changing (turns out I was the only girl in a dress because the dance was casual. Oh well). We danced like mad men with some friends...Well, actually we moved groups a lot, but about halfway through we just stayed in one spot with our friends Terrie and Courtney. We partied like rock stars, but still, watching people grind was really nasty and made me want to kick someone something. I was too busy dancing though. It was the berries!

8. I love acrylics. In my spare time, apart from working on my commission, I've been playing with acrylics on index cards, which is pretty addicting! I love traditional art lately.

9. If I don't get back on before Halloween, then: HAPPY HALLOWEEN, GUYS!! :)))))

Currently Listening: A Beautiful Mine by Aceyalone & Rjd2

The theme to Mad Men, one of my favorite shows. Ironically, the setting of the show is in the 60s; this is more or less a rap song. Still, it's a very catchy tune. 1. Driver's Ed. = not cool. Driving itself is really super, but 4:30-6:30 in...

currently listening: rendezvous by craig david

Just listen.

My birthday was a blast, even though I kept it on the down-low. I just went to Hibachi Rock (a sushi restaurant) with mi familia y mi abuela...I'm not a party animal like my sister. It was really fun; I got totally stuffed with salmon rolls and teriyaki stuff.

But yeah, other than that and getting presents, not much else happened. I don't like being the center of attention...nor do I like people singing the birthday song to me.

I'll post more on it later...maybe....possibly...if I have time...

And my submission to Threadless was accepted! See it HITHER!

Okay, bed time (in my new beddddd), so bye!
