Golden Flames

Team Defense was not really doing anything at the time of chaos. Sazaki for some reason felt jealous, Hinata was just being her quiet self, Neji disagreed on everything, and Shikamaru just didn't care. It was all very frustrating. Finally they stopped for a break. Everyone sat down except Sazaki, who continued walkin.
"Sazaki...SAZAKI!! What are you doing? Take a break and replenish yourself!" Neji demanded her. Sazaki stopped, looked at the ground, and clenched her fist.
"Break? Now? But if we even stop trying to find them...then...then-then--" Sazaki said through closed teeth.
"Sazaki..." Hinata looked at her worried and decided to get up and help Sazaki.
"Hinata! Sit down. She does not need comfort," Neji scolded his cousin. Hinata sat back down.
"Hmph, I get it now. You like Sasuke," Shikamaru smiled at her. Sazaki blushed, and of course, denied it.
"Yeah you are. The moment you saw him kiss Sakura you fell to pieces. That's why you've been so mad and stubborn lately," Shikamaru pointed out.
"S-Sazaki...is it true?" Hinata asked her.
"Yes. I always thought that we were best friends. We had so much in common, we understood eachother. And then...when I saw them...I felt so much more. Shikamaru, you're a genius," Sazaki giggled a little. She looked up and smiled. This touching moment didn't last for long. Sazaki fell to the ground gripping her head, screaming.
"Sazaki! SAZAKI SNAP OUT OF IT!?" Shikamaru ran to her.
"What is it? What do you hear? What do you see?" Neji shook her vigorously. Tears streamed from Sazaki's eyes.
"I-I-I--I see...sadness...p-pain...lies..." Sazaki cried. She suddenly stopped and her eyes opened wide.
"Somebody is here," she told them.
"Who?" Hinata wondered. Suddenly a kunai knife struck Hinata in the head and sliced through to the other side. Blood spewed out of her cranium, soiling Sazaki and Neji. Sazaki stared in fear.
"She's...dead...?" Sazaki breathed out. Neji hugged Hinata's head and wept.
"There's no way she could survive that...I can't believe it!" Shikamaru yelled. Sazaki got up, blood stained and all.
"The Elite...you shall go to hell!!" Sazaki screamed and ran up a tree. She was glowing a bright gold chakra.
In the trees Sazaki quickly spotted the murderers quickly. She flew over to them in one jump and pushed them down to the ground below. Sitting on top of them, she tore their bodies to shreds quickly. Shikamaru and Neji watched in fear and disgust. The bodies Sazaki ripped to shreds slowly healed and there were no longer any remaining wounds.
Sazaki ignored it and used the last bit of strength she could.
"DIE!!!!" Sazaki made hand-symbols and the two whom she attacked finally died. Sazaki's gold chakra faded and she fainted on the red ground.
It was finally over, the terror of the event passed. Neji got up and walked away.
"So we just leave them here!? NEJI!! We can't do this! What about Sazak--" Shikamaru cracked, tears streammed down his face.
"Sazaki is a demon. Hinata would just be dead weight. This is all we can do..." Neji walked away. Shikamaru wiped his eyes and followed behind Neji.
As they left a shadowed figure appeared. The figure walked over to Hinata, made some hand-symbols and blew a veil of smoke onto her face. Hinata breathed again. The figure grabbed her body and Sazaki's and left.

(SORRY! THAT WAS ACTUALLY CHAPTER 12, I MIXED THEM UP...SO IT'S KIND OF CONFUSING)
