This post gets to start with me banging my head on my desk. XP You see I'm working on my Ph.D. in Music Education and it's looking like I won't be able to get out of the requirement to know another language. Most colleges require that you know one that is important to music history. They even requires you to translate something as a test to prove proficiency in the language in question. Along with other tests to prove you are at a certain level in the language in general.
The problem here? I'm lazy. XP I don't want to put in the extra time needed to do it. I'm already busy enough as it is. I've been looking to get the requirement waived but I'm not having much luck. *sigh* Not that I don't think it wouldn't be fun, but seriously... adding that on top of what I already do? Ugh.
So if I can't get out of it, it looks like next fall I'll be taking Russian classes and possibly German as well. -_- I so hope I can get that waived. I really don't want to add that to my already busy schedule. >_< I just wish it was something I could do after I graduated. Which defeats the purpose I suppose.
Still, if I do... >_> I'll have to see if I can drag Beth along or get her to take it too. :p They say misery loves company right? *ducks Beth's impending whack* Heh.
