We're now a full week into the month of December. With that milestone reached, here's the advent calendar card to commemorate the event.
I was totally unfamiliar with this card when I pulled it out of the calendar. Since then I found out that it was originally a common card released as part of the Maximum Crisis booster set, which is probably why I don’t remember it. I don’t believe I bought any packs from that set when it came out. By the time Maximum Crisis came out in the TGC, I think the rule changes brought about by the current VRAINS era had become known, and I felt like getting a lot of the cards from that set seemed ultimately pointless. I’ve recently become very selective when it comes to buying booster packs, partly for financial reasons and partly because storage space for cards can evaporate like smoke. Anyway, Fire Cracker seems like a pretty decent monster to include in burn decks. Not sure what the heck the card has to do with Christmas though.
That pretty much wraps it up for today. Hopefully tomorrow's card will end up being just as interesting.
