This is a song my seven year old sister wrote on Election Day. She sang it very nicely for us, then ate an orange and went to bed.

She speaks for all of us, I think.
On a more serious note, I am very, very worried about what is going to happen to this country. Look, Donald Trump is just in it for the attention and is too lazy and incompetent to actually do most of the horrible things he's promised, but this election has emboldened horrible people to do horrible things. There's going to be a huge spike in hate crimes, mark my words. My own family has experienced this. My mother is Jewish, and she's started to get lots of threats from anti-Semite strangers online against her and her family. As she put it , these people are emboldened by a Trump campaign, so imagine what will happen when he's president. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer. But frankly, I have every reason to be depressed right now. Depression is the only logical reaction to a world like this. Buhh. Anyway.
