back in school

Hey guys! I'm back from Christmas break. Hope everybody had a great holiday. I had a pretty nice Christmas. My parents got me Super Smash Bros Brawl, so my brothers and I spent pretty much the whole break beating the crap out of each other. Good times with siblings
So I was reading this webcomic I like a few weeks back, and I noticed something really neat. the last update was like a year ago, and when it came out I left a comment. Anyway, I checked back a week ago, and I noticed the author had responded to my comment! It was so cool. I mean, it wasn't anything exciting, he basically just said thanks for reading, but it was still really neat.
See you later,

last day of school

Hey guys! Today's my last day of school, and I've basically got nothing to do all day. I'm basically going to work on my Secret Santa drawing, then watch Young Frankenstein in 4th block (we just finished up a unit on Frankenstein in english class, so we kind of have to watch Young Frankenstein. ) speaking of Secret Santas, Funimation was my Santa. Check out what she drew for me! It's pretty kickass.

Sorry, got a little excited there. speaking of plushies, I got a new one this weekend. It's a BB-8 plushie I got out of the claw machine in the theater lobby where I went to see Star Wars. I've never gotten something out of a claw machine before! How great is that?

Saw Star Wars this weekend (spoiler-free)

This is a spoiler-free post, I swear.

Hey guys! Like the title says I saw the new Star Wars this weekend. Was it good? *Squeals uncontrollably* Yeah, it was okay. No seriously, it was abso-frickin' terrific. I actually saw it twice. I wasn't gonna try to get tickets at opening weekend at all, but one of my friends had free passes to the local cinema that she'd been hanging on to, and she asked me to come see it with her, so we and another friend went to the noon show on Saturday. We got there like an hour early in case there was a line and loitered in the lobby for a while and played arcade games. They have this Terminator rail shooter there that's pretty awesomeExternal Image
It was wearing a Santa hat when we were there. the Terminator has more Christmas spirit than I do We also played with one of those claw machines, and I got a BB-8 plush out of it. It was pretty awesome, cause I've never gotten anything out of those things.
So anyway, we saw the movie, and it was amazing. Like seriously, might be my new favorite Star Wars film. Without giving anything away, there was one part of the film that upset me so much I shouted, "NO!" really loudly. Pretty sure everyone in the theater hated me And I went again with my family to see it the next day, and it was even better the second time.
Issue Three of Kagamure is up, so please take a look if you have time. The scans of the pages are kinda meh. I'm probably going to take the whole thing down sometime so I can touch up the pages in photoshop and reformat stuff. And i'm almost done with my Secret Santa present. it's gonna be pretty great

lights

Hey guys! how's everybody doing?
Hey, I just remembered today is the third day of Hanukkah. Don't know if anyone else on TheO is Jewish(ethnically I'm jewish/Irish, and my family is Catholic religiously), but if you are happy Hanukkah! We don't have a menorah up at my house, sadly. We have one, but my mom couldn't find candles for it at the stores, which is annoying. I mean, there's not really a huge demand for them in this part of the country (there's like six other Jewish kids at my school and two of them are my little sisters), but come on. Oh well. We've got our Advent wreath up, and it's really pretty. I made it this year (ie I stuck pine branches in the wooden frame and found the candle holders, which were in the kitchen for some reason instead of with the candles in the attic). So even though we didn't get do put up a menorah, we still have pretty lights at night.
See you guys later
