Sunday Questions #1: Usernames

This is my last post today, I swear. This is something new I'm trying out; I thought it would be fun to do discussion question posts like once a week or something where I post a question, and people respond in the comments. If it works out I might start a new world for discussions (still got 3 left!)
Okay, so this week's question is: how did you choose your username? I always wonder what people's names mean and how they ended up with them. Like, what's the origin story?
For example, my name, WildGirl1977, is a reference to (surprise!) a rock song. When I join a new website, I feel like I'm saying, hello world, this is me, I'm gonna be here for a while. And the phrase "Hello world" makes me think of the chorus of "Cherry Bomb" by The Runaways" "Hello world, I'm your wild girl!" And then 1977 is the year the first Star Wars movie and the first Clash album came out, so it's a big deal to me-I think plain old WildGirl was taken, and I needed to slap on some numbers. I also sometimes go by KabukiGirl1977 if WildGirl is already taken- "Kabuki Girl" is a song by The Descendants.
So that's my name's story-what's yours? Respond in the com box, and let's see if we can get a fun discussion going.

GaiaOnline

Wow 3rd post of the day! I'm procrastinating on homework
Is anybody on GaiaOnline? I just started an account (my 2nd account actually-joining then leaving then rejoining is getting to be a habit with me), and I know there are some people from TheO on there-I think that's how I first discovered it, actually. If you wanna look me up, I'm wildgirl1977.

deja vu

I keep looking at stuff on TheO, and thinking, wow, this is so neat! Then I open up the comments, and I find comments I left with my old account back in freshman year. Guess my tastes haven't changed much

punk pins

Hey guys! I just notice I start almost all my posts with "Hey guys!" It makes me seem insanely cheery, which I'm usually not. Well, whatever. I can never think of anything else, and "Hey guys" works for me, so let's just go with it.
*Starts over* Hey guys! I have a weird question. Does anyone know a good place to buy pinback buttons/punk pins? I ask because being punk, I do, in fact, wear a lot of punk pins, but I never know where to find them. Like you can buy lots on eBay, and its a good deal cause you get a bunch for less than theyd prolly cost individually, but the problem with that is I never have more than like five bucks on me on a good day, so $15 for pins isn't really an option. Is there a place anyone knows of where I can but pins online for a small-ish amount of money? Custom pin websites are okay, but I think its probably a better deal if you need a lot, not just one. The thing is I had this awesome Blondie pin that I got at the used records shop, and I lost it, and I can't find anywhere that sells a pin like that, which is sad, because it was a pretty kickass pin. I tried ordering a custom pin with the same image, but that ended up setting me back $7.50 for one stupid pin cause they expect you to be buying in bulk. Buhhh. Whatever. Anyway, hope everyone's having a nice weekend.
See you later
