This story is based in an ancient time of the poke’mon world. There is a small country that just won its freedom from the mother country. They have a big problem now though.
The countries new capital was celebrating. They had just won there freedom. But how would they pick a new king. The person who had been leading them in the war died in the end and had no kids. So what now? they wondered. The country started to panic after a month with no law. So finally someone took charge. In this time, girls had no respect or independence so the person who took charge kept their identaty a secret. At midnight, she took her dragonite to the center of every city in the country and put up a letter for everyone to see.(no one saw her) The letter said, "Hear ye, hear ye. To all those who fought in the war. There shall be a joust held in the center of Altrava(capital city). To the winner the honor of being the new king! One of my dearest friends shall be announcing what is happening in the joust. She shall have your up most respect or you get disqualified. Good luck jousters!

Everyone saw the letters in the mourning and wondered who wrote them. You see in the war there was someone called the mysterious helper who sent info about the enemy to the old leader. The mysterious helper was one of the best spies they had. So because of this everyone listened to the letter and those who wanted to be king came to the joust.
"Thank you for doing this for me Sammie." said Derek as she got her best friend dressed up for the leading of the jousting.
"No problem Derek. I know you cant come out yourself since they might figure out that your the mysterios helper." said Sammie.
"Well, still, thanks." said Derek.
"Well, I better get this started." said Sammie as she headed outside.
When in the courtyard of the joust she said, "Hear ye, hear ye. I am Samantha Strong and I will be in charge of this joust under the order of the mysterious helper. The order the joust will be set up is written on the wall next to me along with the time of the jousts. Now, let the first round of the joust begin!"
There were 20 rounds for the first day of the joust. Whoever came first got to come on the first day. In the end there were 5 people left for the next round. The same thing happened for the next 6 days until there were exactly 20 people for round two.
"So Derek. Today is the last day of the joust. You gonna watch?" asked Sammie.
"Yep, but I’m gonna watch as just any other child in the audience." said Derek.(She is 14 and Sammie is 13)
"Why not wear a full body outfit and watch from the leaders portion of the stands?" asked Sammie.
"Because I’m not the leader." said Derek as she got dressed in a common brown dress for going out.
"You could be." said Sammie.
"This county would never listen to me again if they knew I was a girl." said Derek as she left.
"Yes they would. You’ve done too much for them not to." said Sammie
The tournament got under way. In the end there were two people left out of the 100 in the start that made it in. There was commander Jerry Conner(30 years old) Who lead his army to victory in the end of the war, and Commander Steven O’Connell(13 years old) who lead the teenage troops and spies. The only spy he didn’t lead or know the name of was the mysterious helper himself(really a girl).
They went head to head. They audience cheered because either way they would like the new leader. In the end Jerry won. Steven stood up after the lose laughed and said, "Good luck old man. You’ll be a great leader. I need to know something though." he said as he turned to Sammie. "Who is the mysterious helper. I’m guessing since you are their best friend, its a girl who thinks we wont listen to her if we know."
"Yes but she doesn’t want them to know." whispered Sammie to him.
Then Steven came up with an idea. "Hay everyone!" he shouted to get there attention. "Tell me. If the mysterious helper was a girl would you still trust her and listen to her?" he asked.
After a moment of discussion the audience said, "Yes!"
"The mysterious helper has done so much for us that we don’t care who or what she or he is. We trust him or her." said Jerry, the new king. "I for one will trust our number one spy."
Sammie looked into the audience and said with a smile "I told you didn’t I? This country doesn’t need any secrets in it anymore since we have our freedom. The leader of the spies even showed his face so why doesn’t the best spy. Come up here Derek!"
A young normal looking girl in a brown dress came up shyly and stood in front of Sammie. "Are you sure they all still trust me now that they know I’m just a normal girl with a dragonite?"
"Yes we still trust you!" shouted the entire audience.
"See, I told you they would." said Sammie as they started cheering for Derek.
"So, I’m positive girls are now equal to boys in this country now. So, to celebrate the new king, the new equality, and the second head spy, lets have a feast!" shouted Steven to everyone’s joy, and Derek’s surprise.
"What? Head spy?" asked Derek.
"Welcome to the group." said Steven happily. "We can all spy on other countries now if we ever get attacked. But for now, to the party!" he said as he grabbed Derek and Sammie's hands and pulled them into the audience.
