A/N: This is so very old!!!
THE WAY YOU LOOK AT HER
"This is a stupid story..."
"It's a classic in my time!"
InuYasha and Kagome were both sitting under a tree. Kagome had brought with her a copy of Pride and Prejudice, and much to her surprise Inuyasha had shown interest on reading it, but she could tell that he was getting pretty bored very quickly.
"I'm just saying,"he explained himself at Kagome's disappointed gaze,"that romance doesn't have to be like this, I mean, this guys hate each other, but then love each other?"he stopped and blushed violently. Kagome blushed also. It was an awkard feeling, like their story had been put in a book....
"Hello."
A slender figure in white and red clothing showed up before then.
"Hello, Kikyo,"greeted Kagome, who had long decided that arguing with her previous incarnation was a waste of time. Kikyo smiled at her and looked at InuYasha. "Can I talk to you for a second?"she asked him. InuYasha hadn't expected this.
"Well, I...umm...damn it..."he didn't know what to say. Kagome interceded. "It's OK. I promised Shippo that I'd bring him candy--I won't take long,"she said jumping to her feet and picking her yellow bag.
InuYasha's eyes followed her until she diaappeared of his sharp eyesight. Kikyo's voice snapped him back to reality.
"Sorry to interrupt,"she said. InuYasha quickly muttered:
"What? No, no, you're not interrupting I..."he stopped. It wasn't that he didn't want to talk to her. He loved her, sure he did, but he wasn't sure about his feelings anymore...his love for Kagome was just growing while he still loved Kikyo.
"It's OK, InuYasha,"said Kikyo. She was sure trying to tell him something he didn't want to hear."What did you want to say?"he asked, trying to prepare himself for whatever Kikyo would say. "I just wanted to tell you...that it's OK if you love Kagome. I have no problem with that,"she said, kindly. InuYasha blinked. That wasn't so bad.
"You love her very much, right?"
"How can you tell?"
"It's just the way you look at her"
His tone grew slightly sad.
"Yes, I love her...but you..."Kikyo stopped him. "I'm perfectly fine with that. Kagome is meant to be with you."
"But I love you..."
Kikyo's face was wet with tears.
"I know. But I'm merely a shadow of what I used to be..."she whispered, as she continued to cry. She embraced him, and InuYasha wasn't sure of why, but her hug broke his heart.
Kikyo walked away without saying goodbye. The hanyo's eyes started to tear up...
"I'm back. What happened to you?"
But InuYasha couldn't answer. All he could do was hug Kagome and whisper how much he loved her...
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are watching.
Listen-
Do you hear the whisper of the night?
The owls talk-
"Who is coming?"
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are watching.
Listen-
Do you hear the whisper of the night?
The wind whistles-
"What do they want?"
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are watching.
Look-
Do you see the magic of the night?
The clouds swoop in
They have come.
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are watching
Look-
Do you see the magic of the night?
The clouds are here,
they want the moon.
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are watching.
Look-
Do you see the wonder of the night?
The stars begin to hide,
the clouds scare them
The night sky still.
The moon is bright.
The stars are hiding
Look-
Do you see the wonder of the night?
The night sky stirs
The clouds are lively.
The night sky wakens
The moon is bright
The stars are hiding
Look-
Do you see the story of the night?
The clouds reach out
They grab the moon.
The night sky wakens
The moon is dark
The stars are hiding
Listen-
Do you hear the sadness of the night?
The wolves howl,
the clouds have stolen their moon.

So what do you think???
The people from my books are real,
I always tell them how I feel.
They always know just what to say
to make all the hurt go 'way.
They whisper sweet things in my ear,
they tell me they are always here.
They laugh with me.
They sing. They cry.
But why? But why?
I know they are not here.
I know they do not care.
They are my act-as-friends.
They always leave at "The Ends"
But I think I'll stay with them,
and I think I'll last this through
because I was to different to become friends with you.

I wrote this during free-writing one night and thought I'd post it! ^_^

Do you think I can not hear you?
Do you think I do not care?
As you talk about me in harsh cruel words, do you think I am not here?
Do you think I like these words?
Do you think they make me glad?
As I stand here, and I listen, do you think I am not sad?
Do you think that this will teach me?
Do you think that I will learn?
As I stand here and, I listen, I wonder what you think you will earn.
Do you think I should be perfect?
A human without flaw?
Because if so that goes against the human-nature law.
Do you think you are Almighty,
a brilliant site to see?
A human flaw with you there does not be?
Because if that is how you feel,
if that is what you think,
I hope you soon learn better, before you fall beneath the brink.
