    If someone wants to live in a forest, then his creations make the perfect living room piece. His land-art is different than other land-art that I often see. Some creations seem to be created through negation--land is often removed, or something is hidden. Not so with Goldsworthy.

    I'll have to pay more attention to his works.

    I believe that not all art was meant for a commercial purpose. I think true art is an expression and creation of one's interpretation of the life around them, and their experiences. I think it's hard to find art like that nowadays though....instead, we're stuck with people who think they're artists and think they can create meaningful artwork (DA)...

    This kinda reminds me of Andy Goldsworthy's art, with his expressions of his connections with nature. Now that stuff, you can't really buy and put in your living room...imagine one of those creations in your house.
