Moderator's Guide

Hello moderators!! I created this short guide for you all so we can keep this world organized and running. Thank you for taking the time to read it :).

Active Participation
One of the main points of this world is to provide resources to those who need it. By resources I mean downloadable textures, fonts, templates, PSDs, actions, brushes, renders, vectors, safe scan links, etc. These resources should be available for download using file-downloading sites such as MediaFire and 4shared, unless you're only posting up one item that would be available to use by just plain old copy & paste. If posting more than one image you can use Photobucket, TinyPic, etc. Posting frequently would really help the productivity of this world. I know a lot of us have school and work to attend to, but this is not going to be a problem because right now we have 10 of us! If we work together and each of us play our own part in this, then it would be alright if each of us participate at least 1-2 times a month.

Tags
That leads us to tags! Please listen up because tags are really important in the overall organization of this world. If someone were to be searching for textures, tags will allow each post to be filtered and let the textures be easily found. So when posting about anything in this world, when you get to the tags, go through these steps:
1. Type in your username (this allows easy filtering for everything you've posted in this world)
2. Depending on the content, add either "tutorials", "images", and/or "resources" (major category tags*)
3. Add tags from the Tag List that relate to your post (e.g. if it has renders, add "renders"- easy peasy!)
4. Then add any other tags you deem fit!
*Please, please, please! don't forget the major category tags ("tutorials", "images", and "resources"). For example, even if you put down "tutorial" as a tag, you need to add "tutorials" as well. Even if it seems redundant, this allows for your tutorial to show when clicking the Tutorials Button in the introduction.

Question Box
The Question Box allows for any with questions to ask them via commenting. Answering any of the questions also equals participation so if you don't have any time during a month to post any resources, just go down to the question box and answer an unanswered question. Questions that are already answered will be deleted so you guys won't get too confused on which ones are unaswered. When posting an answer to a question follow this format:
Replace the parenthesis with brackets.
(I)(URL="http://theotaku.com/portfolio/USERNAME")(B)USERNAME(/B)(/URL) asks: PASTE QUESTION(/I)
YOUR ANSWER

Example:
Kami-chan.x3 asks: Why is this guide so long? I hate reading! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Please forgive me!! ┬──┬ ノ( T□Tノ)

Then tag it with your username, "Tutorials", and "Q&A". This should only take approximately 5 minutes if you answer it to the best of your ability. If you ever have a lot of time on your hands, you could also make a tutorial for the question. For example, if someone were to ask, "How do you make a GIF?" You could make a step-by-step tutorial with screenshots for easier understanding. (Even without anyone asking, you can post tutorials anytime :D)

World Challenges External Image
World Challenges was the fabulous idea brought up by LightFykki. Not only is it fun, but it also helps spread the word around about this world! The challenge can be about icons, banners, anything graphic related that you can't use using theOtaku's own Challenge system (fan art, eCards, walls, etc.). So here's the deal about World Challenges: Moderators are allowed to create a World Challenge only if there isn't one currently in play. If you are unsure if there's already an active World Challenge, just check the introduction of this world and it should show whether there is or not. If not, then you can go create a post that's titled "World Challenge:", then the name of your challenge (ex. World Challenge: Banner!). After that, create the rules of your challenge, what it's about, how to win, the deadline (which can be no longer than 3 months!), etc. (I think it helps if you also create a banner for your challenge, it makes the post stand out more, but it's absolutely optional.) Then tag it with "World Challenge". Lastly, contact me so I can add your World Challenge to the introduction.

And that's the end of the guide! Thank you all for reading this, I really hope we can make this world a successful one. If any of you have questions on what I just explained, please ask!
