5D`s annoyance

Recently, I was watching Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D`s. I witnessed Crow summon Black-Winged Dragon and pulled a rediculous loop to allow his Dragon to attack for the win. I noticed that Crow had the Tail Mark of the Dragon. I thought to my self "Isnt that Yusei`s signer mark?"

So I did some research. It turns out that when Yusei defeated Goodwin in the handicapped ground duel (1-3, the 3 used duel runners), the marks had switched and he was now the the head. I hate to break it to you, yet a millenia old sign doesn`t change over a card game.

Had they done it correctly, not only would they have shown Crow pass his turn and activate his trap at the right timing for the sake of making it legal, they would have also kept each sign synonymous to its respective Dragon. That means that if Yusei`s sign changed, then so must his Dragon for the sake of consistency.

Now that I explore the problem, I must also explore a solution. With that journey, we come across another problem. In a later episode, durring another 3-on-1 handicap duel, Leo is shown saving his sister by Synchro Summoning his new Life-Stream Dragon. While he`s doing this, a mark appears on his arm. The the Crimson Dragon symbol then changes as to appear that it`s holding something. A sixth dragon?

It looks to me like the writers made the Crimson Dragon look like a kid with new favourite toys. Some all-powerful Dragon, eh?

A very simple solution would be to just make Life-Stream Dragon the head Dragon it would make sense. Black-Winged Dragon may be good, yet I can`t say it`s great. As well, it was Life-Stream Dragon, not Black-Winged Dragon, that Luna had seen in the vision that the whole anime is based around. Life-Stream Dragon, when modified slightly, is able to reach standards that no other Dragon in the game can compare to. Now change Leo`s deck so that he is able to synchro summon more fluently and he could be the 5D`s equivelent of Yugi (while Yusei shares characteristics with the Pharoh.)

Over the next few days, I`m going to develop 2 decks for this boy that would make the Crimson Dragon proud to have him at the head using cards that have been used in the anime, possibly the manga, and also from my mind. One deck will be his ground deck, with Power Tool Dragon as his main monster and using Life-Stream Dragon as his reserve. The other will be his Synchro Deck, using all 5 Dragons as his main monsters and the 5 Majestics and Cosmics in reserve. I can`t bare to see his deck being so weak.
