After I talked to Haxlia about my feelings towards Rai and bubble tea with Chandacy, I headed to my room with a cup of bubble tea and sat on my bed, hugging my knees, casually sipping the tea. I thought for a moment. When was the last time I was in bed like this drinking milk tea? The thought of my twin brother made me shiver. He had always liked bubble tea. Does he ... Remember me still? I shook my head. I shouldn’t be thinking about this right now. I left that house and that was my decision. It’s been almost a year now and I like it here at the mansion. I don’t want to leave... Yet. The so called fight is coming up soon as well.
I felt like getting away from my room, being in my room… I felt like I couldn’t think of anything else then my brother at the moment. I put on my jacket and left my room. While going down the stairs to the front door I saw Ewan.
“E-Ewan-ie?”
He jumped and turned around.
“S-sorry I didn’t mean to startle you. He he.”
“Oh, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it.” He paused “Is there something I can help you with?”
“Oh, I was just wondering if you...” …….”uh” “LET’S GO MAKE SNOW ANGELS!”
“Snow what?”
“Haven’t you ever made a snow angel?”
He shook his head. How could he... How does someone not know??
“t-that’s so sad!” I grabbed his arm and headed to the door “but…we are going to change that ok?”
“But I haven’t had breakfast yet!”
“Food can wait! The snow awaits!”
We made snow angels for a long enough time for me to clear my mind; Ewan wasn’t wearing anything made for playing in the snow so he got soaked. I told him to go back inside.
“Thanks for coming outside with me!” I said to him as he went back inside “But go get warm! I don’t want your hands to fall off!”
I laid there in the snow and watched the snowflakes, one by one fall on to my nose. I felt better than I did before I smiled at myself like an idiot, got up and went back inside.
“K-KIIRO!”
I spun around and saw Rai carrying Sneari. “R-RAI!” I ran over to them. Oh no snearrrriiiiiii what’s wrong!?!!?!
“RAAI! What happened? What's wrong with Sneari?”
“Kiiro calm down, I think she's okay, she's just sleeping.”
“Sleeping?”
“Okay I don't really know what happened but I found her on the roof, she was passed out and I just brought her down.” He answered.
“Why was she on the roof?”
“I don't know....but Kiiro do you know where her room is? I'll put her in her bed and then go get some help or something.” Rai said.
“R-right, um follow me, I know where it is.” I said and waved my hand “its right next to mine”

“We're getting closer....” I said as we approached Sneari’s room
“Okay...'
When we got to Sneari’s room he placed her on her bed, I sat next to Sneari. I wanted to make sure she was ok, so I put my hand on her forehead to see if she had a fever or not, luckily she didn’t.
“She doesn't seem to have a fever.” I gave Rai’s coat back to him and put the blankets on Sneari.
“Umma Sneari, wake up....” I tugged on her sweater a bit.
“I...I kind of have an idea” Rai quietly said
“What is it Rai?”
“Maybe a little shock could wake her up.......just enough to wake her.”
“I dunno Rai I don't want to hurt her....”
“It's okay I could do it.” Rai brought his finger to Sneari’s face, with only a little bit of electricity Sneari woke up and punched Rai straight across the face.
“Oh my gosh Rai are you okay?” I jumped to Rai’s side, kneeling down.
“U-Unnnn....Imma fine... “Rai mumbled, I helped him back up.
“S-Sorry Sneari, I think I might have shocked you too much....”
“He only did it to wake you up! You were passed out on the roof and he found you. Are you alright Sneari?”
“I-I'm fine yeah....I just...I...” Sneari trailed off.
“What were you doing on the roof?” Rai asked
“Ross accidentally cut himself on my claws, and he started to bleed, so I left quickly. I don't like blood and I think I passed out yeah...”
UWHAHHHH SNEARII I hugged Sneari tightly “I see how are you? feeling better now?” I asked.
“I'm feeling a little better Kiiro and Rai sorry I didn't mean to punch you, you startled me.” Sneari answered.
“It's okay Sneari, I'm just glad you woke up.” Rai Smiled
I looked back at Rai “Hey Rai why were you on the roof anyways?”
“Um...Kiiro we should let Sneari change! Her clothes must be wet right now and we wouldn't want her to get a cold.”
“Oh right! Sneari change now!” I grabbed Rai’s arm and brought him outside.
“So Rai? Um why were you on the roof?”
“I wanted some fresh air and went to the roof and found Sneari.”
“Oh, um, do you think Sneari's okay?” I asked.
“Yes.”
*awkward silence*
Sneari opened the door “I'm done now, yeah”.
I smiled widely “Yay! Sneari! Want to go make some bubble tea?”
“Bubble Tea?” Sneari questioned
“It's the best thing ever! It's like smoothies!”
“Smoothies, Yeah?”
“Rai where are you going?” Sneari asked
“Eh? I uh.....”
I tried making things less awkward “I-I could make you some bubble tea for saving Sneari...”
“You don't have too and I have some stuff to do” Rai said.
“Okay, we have to go now too Bai!” I said and dashed off with sneari to the kitchen.

“So Sneari, What flavor smoothies shall we make?” I asked
“What do you want?”
“I asked you first!”
“I asked you second”
“UWAHHHH”
“Rai! Are you okay!! I heard someone out there and then someone pushed you into me! I'm sorry!!!” I blurted
“Eh, uh no Um I'm sorry, are you okay?”
“Yeah.” I looked down at my feet. Why do these awkward times keep repeating??
“Sneari are you feeling better? I heard what happened.” Haxlia walked in.
“Kiiro would you mind if we talk in the hall?” Rai Asked.
“N-No it's okay.” I replied.
“I'm sorry Kiiro, I-I just wanted to give you this, but I could never find a good time.” He said as he took out the little gift box. I stared at it a bit stunned.
“It's nothing weird...it's just....a Christmas present...and, and a thank you gift for helping me.” Rai said handing it over to me. “It's not much but I hope you like it.”
“Thanks Rai!” I smiled at him and opened the box to see a small hair clip.
“It's so pretty! I really like it Rai!” I said putting the clip in my hair.
“UN, I'm glad you like it Kiiro. It looks nice on you.”
I blushed looking back at the ground again … “…….Um would you like some bubble tea?”
“I would like to, but I need to get going now, I have something I need to go do.”
“Oh Okay, next time then.” I replied with a small smile. He smiled back, then we heard a noise behind us and we quickly turned to look. There stood Haxlia and Sneari.
“Whoops sorry to interrupt you two.” Haxlia said as she grinned. It was a strange grin.
“We interrupted, yeah?” Sneari asked as she titled her head.
“Eh? No I was just going.” Rai answered as he smiled.
“I see, well then before you go I might as well let you all know. Tomorrow there will be a very important meeting involving the War, I don't know the details yet, but I suggest you all rest up and be ready for tomorrow.” Haxlia said.
“Okay.” We all answered. Rai waved goodbye and left.

THE NEXT WEEK OR SO
I woke up to a morning filled with fog light snow and poppy alarm music. I rolled off my bed with no motivation at all... The war is starting soon. AIIISHHH. What am I going to do? I really. REALLY. Hate hurting other people, I think it sucks and that it’s not needed… unless they take pocky from me or something. Well it’s too late now; I better get ready again to go train myself. I figure I need more training.
I stumbled into my bathroom and combed out the knots in my hair and washed myself… I stared at my reflection in the mirror... My hair was all in my face and it was becoming hard to manage. Within 6 months my hair had grown almost all the way down my back. A little trim would do me good. I looked in the cabinet for a pair of scissors. I used to cut my hair all the time, since my sister and mom were working.
SNIP – SNIP!
The strands of hair fell to the ground. Dear arceus I look too much like Raimei. What the hell is this sorcery?
I put the scissors down and smiled. I do look good though. I walked out the bathroom and changed into my casual training outfit. On my dresser was the hair clip Rai have given me. I put that on as well, going out.
