3 Months Later...

Time: THREE MONTHS LATER

-----------------------------------------

Shupple

I was exhausted, tired, and in pain. I wasn’t expecting this type of training three months ago with Xio, but it was getting me a lot further than I had in years for training. He also made me think a lot, concentrate on what I was doing instead of being distracted, but the days that I was, I got hurt. A lot, and it wasn’t just merely bruises or scratches sometimes. I would break a finger, a toe, sometimes a rib. It wasn’t exactly fun to get hurt all the time, so I learned to keep my thoughts in the back of my mind as I fought him. My fear of fighting and hurting others slowly went away every time I fought with Xio.

We would practice outside every day. Everyone would, in case there was bloodshed and there was loads of room to fight. All four of us would take turns. Raimundo would go first to get it up and over with because he was nervous sometimes, but I had to admit, that was disappearing as well when he was fighting Xio. His fear of hurting people was also going away. Kiki was next and she was getting stronger with her psychic power as well as her own physical strength. His electric moves were pretty powerful from what I could tell, but it made no difference to Xio. It was hard sometimes for her because of her dating Xio, but she seemed to be getting over that. I was third. I was getting over my fear, of well, becoming what Shift had made me. I had gotten to use his moves and my own to my own advantage and I had to admit, it helped me in the long run. Chandacy was last, only because her fire sometimes got everywhere around the field and it ruined parts of the field sometimes. She was about halfway around at getting her fire under control though now. Three months ago, she wasn’t and the fire almost burned us sometimes, but now she had some control over it.

Sometimes there were private practices, something Krory wanted. We practiced our singular moves against Xio, or at least, I did and the moves and techniques I had learned earlier on from the other months with Xio. Everybody would know when Tanner would practice though, what with the new move he learned, Earthquake. That wasn’t exciting for the mansion but mostly everybody had gotten adjusted to it.

Tanner had really changed since the first meeting three months ago, when she gave everyone back their wallets. He was colder, harsher and most of the time, whenever I saw him, Roland was partly in control. His leg was better, a lot actually. He didn’t need the cane anymore except to whack people with, and I even have to admit, that was mean. It wasn’t the fact that Estelle left four months ago, I think. He would always be alone and always be different the next day. There was something about his past that I didn’t know about. It made me think of how, when we talked that one night a year ago when he told me his past, he mentioned nothing about what he did the past year, only that he had been trying to find me, but that didn’t seem like the truth to me. Not when I looked in his eyes that night. Roland was taking advantage of this point in time with Tanner and changing him, but it made me wonder, was he actually always like this when he was captured? From what I could tell, he had gotten a lot stronger and his muscles were ripped. He was like a whole different person… and it seemed a lot like Roland more that Tanner himself.

My few training sessions with Krory were going well too. She made me realize things that were different in my amount of power and unleashing it. The next practice, she wanted to practice on my Foresight. It was odd on why she wanted me to, but she didn’t give reason.

“Hey, Shupple, you almost ready for today?” Raimundo called through my closed door. I sighed. I was just slipping on my tank top.

He was normally the one that woke me up since I couldn’t exactly get along with Kiki since she barged in on me that day about the wallets. That wasn’t a fun day, getting harassed by not just her, but by the whole mansion when she revealed that I was the one that stole the wallets. Some gave me compliments on how I was able to do it without being traced. It was kind of cool actually.

“Yeah, give me a second, Rai,” I called back to him as I rotated my shoulder. I had dislocated it yesterday and Xio had popped it back into place afterwards. It was still bruised and aching but it was slowly going away.

I pulled on my black jeans that I normally wore for the winter and my fluffy, black and golden zippered boots, along with my black coat that had been recently stained with blood, and opened up the door.

“Ready. Let’s go,” I smiled and he just nodded and followed me out. Next, we knocked on Kiki’s door and found her completely ready. She still stayed optimistic about every practice when it was hard for us sometimes, and what sucked was that it was snowing again today. Chandacy probably wasn’t going to be in a good mood, but I never could really tell.

We headed to her door next and found her quite calm. She must’ve just been meditating, since Tanner gave her occasional practices when he wasn’t in a horrible mood. Or she could’ve been with Lucas. That was always possible too. She followed us out and went downstairs, outside and sat down after Chandacy cleared a spot of fresh snow with some of her fire that she was able to control. And we waited.

Only a few times Xio was actually late to practice this early in the morning because he slept in and apparently, one of those days was today. It was more than usual for waiting time. Krory, Glyph, and Haxlia were already starting up with their groups this morning, and yet, we were sitting here, waiting for our tutor.

By the time we were covered in snow, Xio was making his way out of the mansion and we all stood up. He seemed out of it, really, and that was saying something since he normally came in a good enough mood that satisfied even him. He strode over to us, looking exhausted, and just stood in front of us as we stood up.

“You guys choose something to do today. I don’t care,” Xio growled and we were hesitant about it before we all started to talk about it. Rai, I noticed today, was being a little more feminine. He was like that occasionally with us since he was stuck with three girls. We must’ve really gotten Xio annoyed with how we couldn’t decide on a strategy to use today because his ears were going against his face, trying to hide from all of the talk. I was about to say something to the matter when Xio unleashed whatever was left with him.

“I CAN’T do this today!” He yelled loudly and we all shut up and looked at him.

“Wait, WHY?!” All of us yelled at him, most all of the girls. I think Rai understood where Xio was coming from in a way.

“Too much estrogen!!” Xio yelled as he started to walk back towards the mansion..

“But I’m a guy!” Rai yelled and Xio stopped and turned around.

“Close enough to a girl!” He yelled back and I could see Kiki was getting frustrated. She was probably debating about running after him.

“What do you want us to do?” She called out to him and he waved his hand in a motion of “I don’t care.”

“I don’t care! Go watch other groups, go shopping like all of you estrogen filled women do! I don’t fucking care!” Xio yelled as he got inside the mansion and slammed the door behind him.

We all looked at each other and shrugged.

“Hey, how about we go shopping?” Kiki asked cheerfully and I shrugged, Chandacy nodded, and Rai was trying to sneak away.

“Rai!” Kiki called him out and he jumped, but only slightly. He was getting over the fact of people calling him out now, I think, or just getting used to Kiki. “You’ll protect us, right?” Rai hesitated but he nodded quickly.

“Alright…” He said quietly and with that, we all headed into town, taking a break from all of the training going on for once. It was odd. I hadn’t been shopping in months. The mansion usually redid my clothes unless I specifically bought them.

As we entered town, I noticed it was quite empty. The streets were filled with children having snowball fights. Their parents seemed to be cooped up in restaurants and bars around them, though one child surprised me and he was surprised when he saw me.

“Ghosty!!” Cedric ran towards me, completely booked out in winter clothes. His mother wasn’t far off and she was smiling. She seemed to be in a better mood since I saw her two years ago with Lux.

“Hey, Cedric!” He ran into my arms and I picked him up immediately. His aura felt better but it was still wavering like I had felt it two years ago. He was still having trouble and I knew this from the band around his arm. He was still enlisted in the hospital. I guess he must’ve dropped a few health floors to be able to be able to be playing outside.

“How are you, huh?” I asked with a wide smile and his smile just lit up everybody.

“I’m doing loads better, Ghosty! How about you? Where’s Blue Kitty?” He asked and I gave a smile.

“He’s on a trip right now but I know he’ll love to hear when he gets back that you’re doing great!” I smiled as I put him back on the snow covered ground. He decided to play with my hair a little and listen to the bells ring in them. They filled the air, the sound. The constant ringing, the high tone they gave off. It just made everybody smile.

“Hey, I found a present for Blue Kitty and you! I wanted to thank you for being my friends while Blue Kitty was in the hospital with me,” Cedric smiled as he grabbed two neatly wrapped, red and green presents from his pockets. They were small and rectangular. I wondered what they were. “Momma helped me pick them out! I hope you guys like them!” Cedric giggled as I smiled and put them into my pockets.

“Trust me, we’ll love them,” I said warmly. “Now, why don’t you go and continue your snowball fight?” I said as I shook his hair with my hands and he giggled and ran off, but said one thing in my ear before he left. He said, “Tell Blue Kitty to hurry back. I know you miss him, Ghosty!” All I could do was smile as Cedric ran off to play his friends and we continued to walk on, passing the kids as we got around to the retail clothes store.

Everybody stayed quiet as we walked until Chandacy piped up.

“Who was he?” She asked me with her head slightly tilted.

“He was a little boy Lux and I met while Lux was in the hospital two years ago. He has leukemia . We thought he was going to die but it turns out, he didn’t,” I smiled and Chandacy gave one back.

“Why was Lux in the hospital?” Raimundo asked me and I looked at him as we got into an accessories store.

“He committed suicide,” I said quietly and everybody stared except Kiki. She remembered what happened. “But we were able to get him back and I was there with him for a long time, over six or eight months. Cedric kept us company,” I said as we dispersed and everybody kind of kept silent while shopping. It was a hard topic. Not many people liked to dwell on the fact that Lux did that.

Lux stayed on my mind as I looked through the store at the different accessories. Interestingly enough, I found these bracelets that were actually conductors for electricity, thunderstorms, etc. and it made me want to get them for Lux. They were dark blue and silver with light tints of gold on the side, like they were just shooting electricity out of them. I smiled at them and grabbed them from the rack. I saw one more thing also that made me think of Arc. They were spiked bracelets that were also conductors but for fire control. They were completely black with red sparks all over it. I smiled. This would help him. I just had a feeling it would, the same being for Lux. It would be nice to give them these when they get back, well, depending on how mad I was at Arc anyways.

I went and bought the two items with a smile on my face as everybody else got someone in the mansion something. Chandacy seemed to have gotten something for Lucas, or well, Ewan for this matter anyways since Krory revealed his name, but I was used to Lucas. Kiki seemed to have grabbed something for Xio and Rai for I think, Kiiro. He just had a small smile on his face. Then again, it could’ve been for Glyph. I was always confused about that guy.

After we got our accessories, we headed towards a thrift store and all of us found some pretty neat items. Since there were Christmas items up and around, I found some ornaments. One was covered in small bells and it was black. Another was woven by hand with grass but it was colored black and had a skull on it. The third one was of dancing flames around the bottom of the round ornament and the fourth and last one was lightning striking down from the dark clouds on the top of the ornament.

“Hey, guys, why don’t we get ornaments for everyone at the mansion? We can give them to everyone at the meeting tonight!” Kiki exclaimed and all of us nodded. It was a great idea, though I would have to hide Arc’s and Lux’s in my room.

As we choose everyone’s ornaments, a smile lifted onto my face. It was hard to have everyone smiling lately, what with training and all and the constant meetings that we had about every week to talk about everyone’s improvements. We could hear the blizzard outside picking up so we decided to hurry and get everyone’s ornaments.

Once we got our items, we headed back to the mansion quickly, I noticing that there was a blizzard starting but this wasn’t a problem for Gijinkas. For humans on the other hand, it was making all stores shut down and everyone heading home to the best of their ability. I could tell that Cedric was already inside the hospital, his aura bright and shining, though somewhat wavering. Same as just an hour ago. No need to worry…

As we raced back to the mansion, I noticed that the snow was lessening up as we got closer to the mansion itself. It must be the everlasting Protect Estelle had put on it. It still never left but it had been wavering lately so those who had Protect were filling the gaps. It seemed to be keeping most of the snow out for training.

Once we got through the barrier, all of us had to duck almost immediately as a chunk of earth came flying at us. As we stood back up, we saw what was going on one side of the mansion with Krory’s group. I stood watching as everyone quickly headed inside the mansion to avoid all of the debris. For some reason, I just couldn’t stop watching.

Krory had used this tactic a few times but it wasn’t very successful but today it seemed to be. This tactic she used was having everyone in her group-Tanner, Delin, Patrick, and Mist- attack her to test each one’s strength. So far, everyone was doing pretty well, Delin now able to fly and using his attacks strongly against Krory without going too far with losing his power, Patrick using agility to his ability to hide in some obvious places and then the difficult to get at Krory with a few of his moves, Mist using similar Ghost types moves as mine to get her advantage on Krory, and well Tanner… I hadn’t seen him fight in a while so I had to admit, his style was completely different.

Part of his shirt was ripped and his sleeves were completely ripped apart. Must’ve been from Krory’s claws… His muscles were completely showing from the rips in his shirt and you could see his six-pack underneath his vest, along with his black, thorn/tree like tattoo. Tanner’s dark skin was oddly shining in the light from the blizzard outside and that’s when I noticed he was bleeding. His blood was a slight different color, mixed this time with red and black blood instead of the usual difference when Roland was taking over Tanner more and then when Tanner was in control. It was odd seeing both of the colors mixed.

Tanner, from what I could see from this distance, was having Roland half in control. I could tell it was hard though, what with the blood mix and the fact that I could feel Roland pushing for control but Tanner was resisting. He was actually resisting stronger than he had months ago. I couldn’t honestly who was in control of which part of them this time, but from what I could tell, it was all Tanner. He was mainly attacking with his fists at the moment until I saw that he was using Brick Break, which covered Tanner’s hands with small bits of brick, and I understood why. It was to get past her claws and the punches she threw as well. They were all working together and yet, they were doing their own strategies on which move they would use against Krory. It was intriguing.

“Patrick, yoos is clear!” Krory called out as Patrick was able to get a few direct hits on her legs and tail, which did weaken her slightly, especially because of her bad leg. It was obvious to see it now. Patrick immediately stopped attacking and walked off to the side of the building and leaned against the wall of the mansion so that he wouldn’t be attacked.

Once Delin got some successful dodges from Krory and got a few dives in from the sky, she called him out and shortly, Mist afterwards. Tanner wasn’t though and he noticed this as well. I guess this normally didn’t happen.

“Come on, Tanner! Show me what yoos got!” Krory called him out and Tanner narrowed his eyes. His attitude changed completely as he muttered something under his breath, probably at Roland, and something changed. His whole stature changed and he was smiling slightly. It was Roland’s smile.

“Damn it, Roland,” I muttered as I bit my thumb nail as I watched.

I could see the wounds Tanner had gotten before from Krory were now healing into scars and his Brick Break wasn’t wearing off. I wasn’t even able to catch how fast Tanner moved up to Krory and started throwing accurate punches and kicks but Krory was able to avoid them. Tanner as well was avoiding her punches and kicks as well very well. Not one hit him and not one hit her, until Tanner shot his hair into the ground and used Earthquake. I braced myself as the earth shook and Krory wasn’t expecting this as this was different from his normal tactics, I guess, and she lost her balance just for a moment and that’s when Tanner took his chance and punched her straight in the gut and then as she took the hit, Tanner kicked her high up in the air with just the slight movement of kicking her under her chin. Krory was lifted up the air and Tanner shot upwards immediately. He started to use Leaf Storm at the exact same time as he was using Power Whip on his hair to wrap Krory up to make sure she didn’t struggle, but she was able to break free of it and grab Tanner close. I couldn’t see what she was doing from there since they were covered in the Leaf Storm, but I guess she was doing the same thing she did to me when I first faced her and that was use every martial art known to man, though I think Tanner was avoiding some of the hits. As they came down to the ground, getting closer and closer, Tanner was able to get a hold of her bad leg and throw Krory down into the ground and all he did was fall, I hearing a small crack as Tanner landed on his arm and he winced but ignored it quickly.

He got up quickly and headed over to where she was dug into the ground and helped her up. She was smiling and only bleeding slightly from her side and a little bit of blood coming from her mouth. That’s when I saw Tanner’s head wound and the few stabs he got in the stomach by Krory’s stabs but they were healing right in front of her, along with his arm and she was clearly watching it happen. I could tell throughout that whole fight, Tanner wasn’t even at his maximum of power and neither was Krory. Nobody was actually, and that was what had really surprised me.

They both laughed afterwards and Krory cleared Tanner of training for the day. Krory then called everybody in for the day for the meeting, it being about dinner time now since the days went by so fast now. She usually got pizza for the meetings so we had no worry about making dinner for ourselves. I headed inside quickly as the wind started to pick up and we all got into the meeting room, the heater blasting as Krory took off her military jacket and hung it up on the coat rack.

As everyone filed into the room, all of the tutors got onto stage and stood in front of the world map and I looked all over the room as people started sitting down and grabbing pizza. There were all different types of posters on the walls. Most of the posters consisted of who was part of the Water Gods and other treacherous Wanted Criminals in all of the regions of the world. There were mafia leaders, bombers, dictators, every imaginable criminal known was sitting on these walls, either crossed out for who was dead and the posters were left empty if they were still alive.

“Oh, Krory,” I called to her as the last people were coming in and grabbing pizza. Krory perked up and looked over at me and I got up and walked over to her. “I wanted to tell you that our group has a surprise for everyone. Is it alright if we present it first before you guys talk?” I asked her and she smiled widely.

“Of course, sheila! Go right ahead!” Krory said and I nodded and stood in front of the group and waited for everyone to sit down and quiet down before I spoke up.

“So everyone, our group has a surprise for all of you,” I said with a smile and everybody starting murmuring excitedly. It was the first thing of fun most of us have had within these last three months. “We got everyone ornaments that represented who the person is and we hope you all like them. We can actually put up something on the Christmas tree Nyarth has been decorating this whole week up at the front of the room,” I gestured towards the tree and all of the nodded and Rai, Kiki, and Chandacy were about to open their bags when I used Shadow Sneak quickly and lifted all of the ornaments up at once. It was one thing I had been practicing with Xio in my private practices.

I moved everyone’s ornaments to them and even to the tutors behind me and there were multiple gasps and I turned my head to Krory and saw light tears in her eyes as she held her ornament, which was glass and had different designs on it of the military and of Krokoroks playing with each other.

“Krory, you’re a part of this family. We consider you one of us, okay?” I asked her and she just nodded and sniffled and quickly wiped the tears away from her eyes as she stepped forward and I sat down with my ornament in hand with my other small bag filled with the two bracelets in my lap.

“Now, to start with this past week’s endeavors!” Krory exclaimed and we all listened to her as she spoke about how everyone in the groups have done a great job and how her group did well in training this week and pointed out all of the good things that each person did.

She spoke about how Delin had gotten better with his diving through the air and using his attacks, how well Mist had expanded her power with her different moves, how Patrick moved even quicker than last week and was stronger, and about how Tanner was able to get a few hits down on her today and how he had gotten stronger this week too.

Xio went next. He spoke about how Rai had gotten a lot better at his electrical moves and building up strength and making very successful hits on him this week, even though it did practically nothing to Xio himself. He then spoke about me and how I had gotten better at my Will-O-Wisp and how I could now make multiple strands of whips instead of just one. He then went on to Chandacy and how her fire was greatly more contained this week than the previous and that she did well in the snow compared to the rain last month. Last of all, he brought up Kiki and how her psychic powers were stronger this week and how she’s able to make a lot of hits on him.

Glyph went third and talked about the progress of Tristyn’s moves and how he was able to hit Glyph directly in the air now, since he was able to do that quite successfully while Glyph was on the ground. He talked about how Ewan’s accuracy of his bow and arrow was and how successful each move was now and how I helped Ewan with his Shadow Ball this week with being able to stabilize it. He continued with how Kiiro was able to make direct hits with her electric moves. He then attacked Rai in front of everyone and I caught their ornaments before they broke.

Haxila was last and she talked about how much everybody kicked ass at their speed this week. Maura was able to kick up her speed greatly even with Jaws snapping at her and at Haxila. Maria was able to kick up the speed on her water moves and Sneari increased her speed on her claws and movement.

Krory then concluded the meeting and we all congratulated each other and I waited until everybody put up their ornaments. I went up the same time Tanner did and smiled at him. He gave a small one to me as he put his up and I put mine up.

“Tanner, what’s-“ I was about to ask but he stopped me.

“Don’t worry about it. I know you saw,” Tanner hissed and pulled me outside before I was able to reply. What happened next surprised me. He pushed me up against the wall with his elbow under my chin and pushed me up against it. He was stronger and what sucked was that I wasn’t able to get out of his grip. Tanner was completely conscious of what he was doing. He was half in control, just as much as Roland was, and he was very in control of his voice.

“The blood color, I don’t know what that is. It’s dangerous, that much I know. What you saw, what you felt about me, I don’t care what you think!” Tanner hissed and I started to cough from Tanner’s grip. He was practically starting to choke me now. “Krory knows how I am and my past, and nobody else knows my problem except for the few people here. Nobody needs to know this past. Tell anybody else about my problem with Roland and I swear to god, Shupple, I will get you,” Tanner hissed and that’s when he let go of me and I fell to the floor and he stormed up the stairs. I gasped for air and small tears formed in my eyes. Where was the Tanner that I knew as my brother?

“Shupple!” I jumped at Krory’s voice as she exited the meeting room finally and tilted her head as she saw me and I stood up. “What’s wrong, sheila?” Krory asked and I shook my head.

“It’s nothing, Krory. What’s up?” She then pulled me into a big bear hug and just squeezed me tight.

“Krory,” my voice tightened and breathing was getting hard. “Krory, I can’t breathe,” I squeaked and Krory let go of me with tears in her eyes.

“Thank yoos for including me in yoos family here, Shupple. I… I didn’t think I would be included in yoos family so fast. I… I don’t have much of one so…” I brought Krory into a hug and she was surprised but she did hug me back. “Oh, Shupple! The reasons I told yoos about the next training practice with me and yoos’s Foresight is because I want yoos to be able to use Foresight in battle!” I raised my eyebrows.

“I don’t think that’s possible, Krory,” I told her and she shook her head.

“I’ve seen it, sheila! It’s possible and I know yoos can do it!” Krory said positively and with that she went off happily up the stairs.

After gathering my strength from the incident with Tanner, I headed back upstairs to my room and put the bracelets down on my desk before getting ready for bed and set my alarm clock for my private training with Xio tomorrow. Once I hit my pillow, I was out.

.:Dream:.

I opened my eyes to a bright light and found myself inside a room. It was exquisite and filled with lots of color, mostly pink. It was filled with toys and what looked like almost torture collars. It was very… girly and disgusting. There was a bed and I saw someone sitting on it, looking straight at me.

“Lux!” I exclaimed and ran over to him and into his arms. He laughed and fell backwards onto the bed as he held me close to him. He was dressed really fine this time around, instead of being in a dungeon. He was dressed in a nice tuxedo and his hair was combed, he wasn’t covered in blood anymore, there weren’t fluids anywhere, and he was smiling his bright smile. He had an eye patch on too over where I had seen his empty eye socket before.

“Oh, Shupple,” He sighed happily as he hugged me and we rolled around on the bed until we decided to sit up and I smiled as he looked at me.

“You look a lot better!” I smiled as a slight blush came to my cheeks as I grabbed his hands and swung them back and forth between him and I.

“I’m feeling a lot better. Arc is doing a lot better too,” Lux smiled and I smiled. My heart twisted in parts and I didn’t know why. It was like… I don’t know, actually. “How are you doing? You look a lot stronger,” Lux smiled as he put his arms on my shoulders and looked at me from bottom to top.

“I am,” I smiled. “We’re training and by we, I mean the whole mansion. We all have specific trainers in the club to help us,” I told him.

“Who’s training you? And what are you training for?” Lux asked with a smile and my smile dropped slightly.

“We’re training for this fight against the Water Gods that are threatening to flood the world and have only Water Pokemon and Gijinka live. We’re the only ones that can stop it. And um… Xio is the one training me,” I said quietly and it took a second to sink in and that’s when he started to burst out laughing and fell backwards onto the bed.

“You have got to be kidding me!!” He hysterically laughed and I frowned.

“I know how you feel, it’s just that-”

“Oh, it’s not about you being trained by him!” Lux laughed. “It’s about that he’s training you!” Lux quickly covered his mouth with his hand and I narrowed my eyes.

“Just what do you mean by that?” I asked him and he chuckled nervously as he put his hand down.

“Just too much damn estrogen!” He exclaimed and tried not to laugh. I rolled my eyes. After Lux stopped trying to have a laughing fit, he took a deep breath and looked at me. I stared at him and his eye patch. I couldn’t help it. It was something that was missing, something about that I loved… Wait, what did I just say?

“What?” He chuckled and I lifted my hand and rested it beside his eye patch.

“Does it still hurt?” I asked him quietly and he stared at me with wide eyes.

“Why would something empty be HURTING? It’s empty!! I don’t feel a thing!” Lux exclaimed and I smiled a little bit.

“How’s everything here?” I asked him and he took in a deep breath.

“Well, I’m doing fine, Arc’s doing better, and I almost got raped!” Lux growled. “How do you think I’ve been? I want OUT of this hellhole! Arc and I are planning our escape so that we can get back to you!” Lux blushed greatly when he said those words and covered his mouth and I couldn’t help but giggle.

Somewhere inside me, I felt really happy to be with him and I didn’t want to leave him, but yet… there was the point that I was going to have to leave… Something in me pained me not to… I was so confused… I wanted to go and see Arc too but I didn’t know if that was possible…

“Well, why don’t you just come back home then? Everyone wants you back, you and Arc… I really want you back…” I mumbled but that’s when I jumped at the cold contact of Lux’s lips on my neck and I had no idea what he was doing.

He began kissing me on the neck as his hand rested on my waist and I began to lose my thoughts immediately and fall into a trance. I tried to stay out of it.

“Lux… what are you doing?” I asked him quietly and he just shushed me.

“Lux, really…” His hand started to glide across my leg and I had no idea what was really going on anymore.

“Just shut up,” He muttered as he brought his lips up to mine and lightly kissed me on the lips.

I jumped a little at the contact of them but slowly fell into a trance that I just couldn’t get out of. Lux’s hands slowly roamed my waist and my hips as he kissed me and I tangled my fingers into his hair and pulled him in closer and we both fell down onto the bed. He brought me in closer to him with his hands sliding under my blouse and slowly, things became more intense and oddly, I didn’t mind as Lux’s hands roamed further upwards and stayed there. I don’t know why I was allowing this. It wasn’t like me but yet… I liked it.

Lux started to kiss my neck as my hands dropped to his hips and he started to moan but he was saying something at the same time.

“Shupple….. I….. I love…. you…..” He murmured as he continued to kiss me all the way back up to my lips.

“Lux…. I love…. you…” I murmured back and this only went on for a few more minutes until he realized what we had both just said and immediately retracted everything and took his hands back and scooted away from me. I was confused… What just happened…?

“Lux…? What just….” I couldn’t continue my sentence.

Lux started to have a nervous breakdown right beside me as he huddled into a ball.

“What… What have we done…? Arc… Oh my god… I’m so sorry… so sorry…”

.:End Dream:.

BONK!

“Ow, what the hell, Shupple!” I opened my eyes to find Xio right above me and a red bump on his head from me moving upwards from being startled. On my bed. Staring at me. And I didn’t have a bra on.

“Get the FUCK off!!” I yelled as I slipped my legs out from under him, wrapped them around Xio and threw him off of my bed onto the floor. Of course, he landed on all fours.

“What the hell!” He yelled. “You were supposed to meet me down on the field half an hour ago for training! Why the hell weren’t you there? And why the hell were you talking about Lux in your sleep?!” Xio yelled as he stood up and I don’t know why, but I just couldn’t answer him. I was shaking instead. What the hell did just happen in that dream? I’m so confused… I love Arc, I know I do but I really miss Lux… Did I actually love him? I’m so confused…. I want both of them back so badly…

“Would you like me to explain?” I asked him flatly and he narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms. I punched my alarm clock to make it shut up. It instead broke.

“Fine, go ahead,” He said part sarcastically and so, I did while pulling my blankets up to my chest.

As I explained the situation, he sat down on the floor and just looked at me intently. I don’t know why I even explained everything that happened or how I even trusted Xio, but I guess it’s because I’ve been training with him. It’s understandable, I guess…

Once I finished explaining it to him, all he did was sit there, in thought.

“Makes… sense of why you were late but… the only reason… Hmm…” He said quietly and thought for a few more seconds. “Have you given Lux your blood before?” I was surprised at the question but I gave a small nod.

“He was out of control one night and needed blood and I was right there so I gave it to him. I didn’t think much of it,” I told Xio and he nodded and stood up.

“Because you gave him your blood, you now have a connection with Lux. You’re basically… entering his mind when he’s also asleep. It’s just how it is so now you’ll know how he’ll be doing, etc., etc. Now, get ready. Time to train,” Xio said as he exited my room and closed the door behind him. Well, what he told me was interesting but today was going to be a hard day to concentrate.

Time to train, I guess…
