TIME: Evening and the next morning

When the lights came back on and everyone went downstairs, I went along started to feel sleepy. I yawned and scratched my head. Okay what’s going on? I just want to go to bed and—
I heard a shout and the sudden sound of breaking glass. “Wha-?!” I blinked shaking off the drowsiness.
I more shouting and sounded like confrontation. What’s this a fight? I peaked through the crowd and I saw that buff chick Krory kissing a Togekiss Gijinka.
Okay not a fight.
Then Delin grabbed Krory and slammed her to the ground.
I stand corrected.
Dang what was with Delin?
“WHERE THE HELL IS DAMARIS? YOU WERE THE LAST ONE WITH HER!”
The other Gijinkas in the room hang back and watched in shock as Delin and Krory fought. “What should we do?” “Should we stop them?” I stood with the crowd and hung back with them. I’m not going to do anything. I can tell Krory can handle herself and I don’t want to get involve in fights or drama.
When the fight moved outside I got a cup of water. And when I came back Delin had used Hyper Beam. The blast knock down trees and the some Gijinkas who were watching the fight anxiously. “This could turn out badly.” “Some one has to stop them.”
“But it’s getting good,” I committed sipping on water and earning a few stares.
Krory used Sandstorm and as a great wind stir up sand and dirt I shielded my eyes. Aw darn I can’t see what was going without getting sand and shit in my eyes. When the dust cleared I blinked and rubbed my eyes. The fight had stopped and standing between Delin and Krory was Glyph. Delin has held back by Luca in a headlock and Xio was behind Krory holding onto her arm.
“So the action’s over,” I mused and took another drank of water and spat it out suddenly. Bleh, dirt and sand got mixed in the cup. I chugged the cup away and walked away from the dispersing crowd since the fight seemed to be over. I heard someone talking about a group meeting I yawned and joined the gathering Gijinkas heading for the meeting room.
It was about ten minutes later when the residents of the mansion had gathered. I yawned slouching in my seat with my arms crossed. Tanner stood , “Alright with everything going on in the last 24 hours its definitely been a rough day. To the people who just arrived, this is Tristyn the Togekiss, though Krory you already met him.”
The new guy Tristyn waved.
Tanner continued, “Anyway Krory, I think its about time you told everyone what is going on and clear some things up.”
Krory stood up and everyone watched her intently some were suspicious. From what I heard it sounded like Krory had something to do with or knows something about what happened to Damaris which was what the fight was about I think, so I kept myself awake to listen to Krory.
“Right, umm…I’ll cut to the chase and not beat around the bush. I am Sergeant Major Krory ta Krokorok from taUnova Army. I was sent by top officials to carry out me mission to find a woman named Damaris. It took a liddle time but as yoos can see I did locate her here at this mansion. Ta purpose of me mission was to find out information about her brother Drake because of an incident that recently took place.”
“Incident? We’ve heard nothing of the sort here.” Kiki said who was sitting next to Xio. They definitely look like a couple.
“You wouldn’t have because ta military wouldn’t want the public to panic.” Krory told her.
“So what does that have to do with Damaris, yeah.” Sneari asked.
“Because her brother is part of a terrorist group.”
“THE HELL YOU SAY!?!” Delin stood up but was quickly pulled down by Patrick.
Krory coughed and continued, “What I am about to tell yoos is top secret information only given to high ranking officers of the military. I came here to find Damaris and find out about her brother, Drake. Ta organization that Drake works for believes strongly in taking over the world by flooding it. It’s top officials are some of the strongest water types and have provided ta navy with much difficulty in defeating them.”
“Yeah I remember hearing this story,” Rai stated, “The culprits were apprehended many years ago.”
“Until they escaped recently.” Krory said. This made some people whispered amongst themselves and Krory continued. “Why this is so critical is because ta one that escaped was Gorfrey the Gyrados.” Silence hit ta room for a few moments, “That name may sound familiar but he is part of a underground operation trying to rid the world of humans and gijinkas alike so only water types and those that can live among water will survive. All others shall perish. He has already made that clear with the recent killing of a village in Unova.”
“How the f*ck did a guy like that escape from your prison? Tells you that the military ain’t as f*cking great as its cracked up to be.” Luca said from the back of the room.
“I can’t say for certain but yoos are right. It shouldn’t have happen.”Krory said, “I came here to meet with Damaris and find out if she knew anything more about her brother and protect her from this group. As it stands, she was kidnapped earlier when the lights went out by two of Gorfrey’s subordinates.”
“Your job to protect her? HUH? Well you did a lousy job at that Krory! Now my girlfriend is in that bastards hands and we have no idea where they are at. What do you plan to do about this since its YOUR FAULT!” Delin accused he was very pissed off. That was understandable.
Krory lowered her head, “Me sincerest apologies, as a ground type and being blind sided by two water types, I couldn’t protect her. Believe me it sickens me to admit that I failed this mission. This isn’t a ripper feeling I bare.”
“Yeah you failed alright! That’s not going to bring her back!”
“Delin sit down already!” Patrick told Delin and tried to pull him back to his seat.
“No Patrick I won’t! I want to know what the hell she plans to do about it.” I looked over at Delin and then over to Krory. Delin took a slow deep breath and calm down a little. “At the very least you should get other military officials involved.”
“I can’t.”
“What?”
“Me superior made it perfectly clear that I am on me own on this. I hate how unprepared I am but I am unable to get any military aid from any region, including ta one we are in.”
“So what are we suppose to do now, just sit here while Damaris is missing?” Delin asked shaking his head.
Krory sighed. “I suppose I have nah other choice, I will need ta help of yoos folks here at the mansion to help me save Damaris and go to war with ta water Gods.”
What she wants our help to fight a war?! Okay some crazy racists Gijinkas kidnapped Damaris because her brother’s involved and this Gofrey dude wants to rid the world of both humans and non water type Gijinka so only water types remain when they flood the whole world? Sh*t that’s messed up.
I was wide wake now and I listened as Krory spoke again, “I understand this is a daunting task and idea however, based on the knowledge that I have obtained, we have 3 months to prepare. I plan on training yoos all to be prepared to fight ta water gods and some simple electricity won’t over power them. Teamwork is key. I can’t expect yoos all to join me but I do plan on risk’n me life to save that shelia. To conclude, I will let yoos ponder on these thoughts and yoos can let me know tomorrow what yoos want to do.”
Three months, she said to prepare. In normal circumstances I wouldn’t get involved but the world is in danger and I don’t want the world to be flooded. And Damaris is at the hands of these psychos.
I stood up and left the room.
*NEXT DAY: LATE MORNING/AFTERNOON-ISH*
I didn’t sleep easily that night. My mind was buzzing and kept me tossing and turning. And when I felt ready to get out of bed it was almost the afternoon. I did some stretches and went to the kitchen to make brunch.
When I was preparing food in the kitchen I heard several Gijinkas freaking out over something. I listened and learned their wallets were missing. No just a couple more and more were saying their wallets were gone. What the Hell? Was there a thief going around stealing stuff? That made me go back to my room and search around. Yep. My wallet was gone. That didn’t made me freak out. It was an old beat up thing, there was no money in there, no credit cards, not even coupons. There was an old student ID from a time I went to school and that was a long, long time ago and my present ID. And that was it. Well sucks for them they didn’t get anything of value from me, hah. Even if they stole my identity I didn’t have a penny to my name.
But I feel bad for the other tenants that got robbed.
I left the room and decided to go out for a run. In the hallway I saw Kiki wondering around, muttering to herself, she looked anxious.
“Let me guess, your wallet was stolen too?” I said.
“You too Maura?!” Kiki said snapping out of her daze.
“Seems like everybody here has the same problem, I’m not worried about it,” I said shrugging.
“What do I do?!” Kiki whined waving her arms animatedly. “I wanted to buy a present for Xio!”
“Hey, are you going to train for the battle and help save Damaris?” I asked Kiki.
“Of course,” Kiki said her hands clutched in determined fists. “But I have to train to become stronger so I can fight along side with the others.”
“Yeah,” I thought rubbing my chin pensively. “I also have to train.”
“You’re joining in too?”
“Of course, I don’t want the whole world flooded. Me and water; don’t mix.”
“Yay! Glad to know you’re joining in.” Kiki said gleefully and gave me a hug.
I pushed her away from me, my arm stretched to keep my distance. “Don’t you have a wallet to find?”
“Okay right! But how do I—OH! I know! I’ll use psycometry to find it!” Then Kiki hurried away.
I headed outside to go on a run.
