IN POST: Kiki, Xio, Haxlia
TIME: The late afternoon and later that evening.
~KIKI~
“So what shall we be doing on our date,” I asked Xio.
Xio paused apparently contemplating on suggestions. “There’s a restaurant that I’m sure you’ll like. They have music and a dance floor.”
“Dinner and dancing I like that idea,” I said smiling.
Xio chuckled. “You danced all night at the ball and you still want to dance again.”
“I would dance everyday if I can,” I said. “If I can get up and move I will.”
“Alright then,” Xio said. “So when would you like to go our date?”
“As soon as possible!” I said. Wait do I sound too enthusiastic? I hope he doesn’t find me annoying…
“Hmm how about tonight?”
“Really? Sure!” I said.
“Okay I’ll get ready,” Xio said stopping at the hallway where his bedroom was located.
I glance down at myself and I felt dissatisfied with the outfit I was wearing. It didn’t seem ‘date’ worthy. “I’ll go back to room as well. I need to do something.”
“Then I’ll see you tonight,” Xio said smiling. He leaned down and kissed me on the lips which I kissed back, closing my eyes briefly and then we parted.
I was back in my bedroom searching for an outfit for the date. I looked through my closet, there wasn’t that many dresses to choose from that was proper for the cold weather. A lot of them were too short. I found a cute white winter petticoat that was long enough to go past my knees. That’ll do, now for a dress. A small white cocktail like dress with short frilled hem caught my eye. “Ah ha,” I picked it up and noticed one of the straps was torn off, “Aw…” Well that could be fixed.
I got out the sewing kit and sat down at my vanity desk with the dress on my lap. I wasn’t very good at sewing but I can do a simple stitch to repair the strap and when I finished stitching it up I looked at the clock and wondered if I should go look for Xio. I put on the dress, style my hair and pick up my coat then I left the room.
Walking down the hall I was alone and then I was greeted by Haxlia.
“Hey Kiki!” Haxlia said as she walked over to me.
“Uh…hi,” I said and felt awkward. I don’t know why when I’m sure Xio doesn’t have feelings for her and I think she’s interest in that Lucario she had been dancing with at the ball.
“You’re all dress up, are you going out on a date?” Haxlia asked me.
“Yes I’m going out with Xio,” I told her and then I added. “He’s my boyfriend.” I flushed and giggled.
“Woo! Way to go girl!” Haxlia cheerfully punched me on the shoulder.
“Ah thanks,” I said rubbing my shoulder.
“So you’re going on a date with Xio huh. Well I won’t keep you,” Haxlia patted me on the back. “Have fun with your boyfriend.” She said with a wink and went on her way.
I smiled and went to find Xio.
