He walked the halls of Las Noches looking for two things, his sword and the freak that destroyed the hood on his jacket. He combed a few of the halls close to his room then started back toward Szayel’s area. He knew the freak would be there, but he was not certain of his sword. The closer he got to Szayel’s lab the more he could feel the pull of Santa Teresa. He picked up his pace and walked quickly into the lab. Without even knocking he burst in the room. Szayel was standing at a counter looking in a microscope at a specimen when he looked up quickly. Seeing Nnoitra burst in the room he began to protest.

“I told you before! My fractions or other hollow experiments do not secrete acids or corrosives!”

“Shut up! I am not here because of that!” Nnoitra told him brushing past him to the back of the room.

Nnoitra stopped in front of a metal cupboard; he quickly flung open the doors not seeing his sword there. Only specimen jars and other experimental subjects and compounds lined the shelves. ‘Knowing’ it was right there somewhere; he grabbed the cupboard from the backside and jerked it forward. The cupboard fell forward with a loud crash. Szayel in the background was screaming at the top of his lunges at Nnoitra. Just then Szayel watched as Nnoitra placed his fist through the wall and started ripping it apart to find Santa Teresa. However, to Nnoitra’s surprise there was nothing. Szayel was still screaming and freaking out on Nnoitra. With a quick glance up at the ceiling he heard Szayel protest.

“OH NO! YOU ARE NOT GOING TO TARE DOWN MY CEILING! YOU HAVE MADE A BIG ENOUGH MESS HERE! RUINED MONTHS OF RESEARCH! DESTROYED MY LAB!”

Szayel was still going at it as Nnoitra walked up to him grabbing him around the neck picking him up and tossed him across the room. Szayel hit the counter with numerous experiments on it that Szayel was working on that day. There was a loud crash and Szayel’s body had almost cleared off the counter. Nnoitra then jumped upward to the ceiling going through it. Seeing a slight glimmer from what he knew was Santa Teresa, he pulled the rest of his body through and walked toward her. Sure enough it was his zanpakuto. He bent down picking her up and sheathed her at his side. Just then, a large creature slinked past him quickly.

“Your turn, bastard!” Nnoitra growled as he took off after it.
