Fullmetal Alchemist Forum is Live!

You might remember a little vote we held a while ago, where we asked Otakuites which franchise would be best-suited to have its own specific forum on OB.

With the votes now in, it looks like FMA has risen to the top of the pile.

Now that the forum is active, we need Otakuites from across the network to make good use of it. Feel free to create threads about anything and everything related to the FMA universe - characters, specific episodes, merchandise... anything!

If this forum is successful we will definitely continue to add forums for specific franchises - and it'll be Otakuites themselves who decide which franchise comes next.

So What's Your Favorite Anime?

Favorite Anime

You know this is going to come up, it always does. The famous or infamous question asking what is your favorite anime! I personally try to hide from the question since it's hard to pick just one when there are lots of shows I really like. So it's hard to narrow it down to just a few.

I do know that I love stuff that makes you laugh like Fumoffu. I also love stuff like Lucky Star and Fruits Basket. Slice of life anime shows are fun for the silly glimpses they give you into everyday life.

And then there are what I consider my guilty pleasure shows, the ones that you know they are so horribly cheesy and silly and yet you love them anyway. Like Wedding Peach, I can't help but giggle and laugh at some of the silly stuff in it.

Anyway, what are your favorite anime shows? Don't hold back! I'm sure you all have a lot that you really enjoy.

Signature of the Week

Another pair of weeks is over, which means: another Signature of the Week over! (I know, but "Signature of the Two Weeks" would just sound silly)

The theme for week 011 was "America" and even though there were only three entries (), they went in pretty different directions. This was cause for a pretty intense voting, which turned into a neck-to-neck race between KimmehWolfwood and Boo. (myself, i know) Not until the last moment could we be sure who had won, but in the very end the first prize went to the pixel art-y entry of Boo and the position of Runner-Up went to the Cap'n America themed entry of KimmehWolfwood!

These banners, and all winners and runner-ups, can be drooled over and discussed in the Hall of Fame thread, which has just recently been given some updates, so check it out!

But obviously, "America" was so week 011 and we should move on, so I would like to invite you all to:
