Naruto X Hinata

Naruto laid in the meadow staring at the clouds, like Shikamaru had done so often. He wondered what Shikamaru had found so neat about it, because he just couldnt seem to find out. He thought it was outrageously boring. He was much more the type to be running around like a spidermonkey than to be daydreaming.

Just as Naruto was about to run of and find something to vandalize, Hinata plopped down beside him.

" Oh hey Hinata....Watcha doing out here?" the blonde boy asked.

"Uh...Well. I, uh, brought you a bento box. I saw you didnt get anything to eat for lunch," Her face was flushed, as usual.

" Well...Thanks. Stay here if you dont mind," Naruto asked Hinata.

Little did the two know, Sakura and Kakashi were hiding it the bushes, just meters away. Sakura wanted Hinata and Naruto together, because Hinata was a great girl, and she deserved Naruto, after all the hell he had put her through. Kakashi on the other hand was just spying for the hell of it.

"You are the only one who has brought me any lunch. Thanks," Naruto said while stuffing his face with ramen that Hinata had oh-so-kindly brought.

"Y-Youre welcome. You deserve it..." She said, almost regretting saying it.

"Hm? What do you mean?" Naruto questioned.

"Well, y-you work so hard, s-so it is almost natural y-you deserve it..." Hinata was nervous, very nervous.

Naruto emraced Hinata, making her face flush a deeper pink than it was already.

"N-Naruto, what are you-"

"Hinata, Im in love with you," Naruto confessed, tightening his hold around her.

"So do I Naruto..I just havent ever h-had the courage to tell you," Hinata replied.

Sakura and Kakashi, still lurking in the bushes wondered if a subtle love was ever going to be possible for them, or anyone at that.

And though love is complicated, to Naruto and Hinata, it was well worth it.

Lets Play a Game...

I couldn't shake the feeling that -in the dark- a pair of eyes glared at me. I shouldn't, no wouldn’t open my eyes, even if it killed me. Soon, I couldn't take it, I had to open them. A wave of terror went through me as I found a girl with a golden pair of eyes staring at me intently.

She chuckled. "You're awake now, I see. I’m glad."

I stayed silent. She skipped over to me in a way that looked more like dancing. As she got closer to me I saw her face was round -almost childlike- yet still beautiful. Her translucent skin glowed in my moonlit room.

"Don’t be afraid, Elizabeth," A smile appeared on her pale face. Another wave of terror flowed through my body. How did she know me? I didn’t recognize her face, though. "I just want to play a game with you." Her voice rang hollow in my head. I was scared. I felt uneasy about the "Game" she wanted to play.

"Here are the rules. It is much like hide-and-seek. I will give you exactly one minute and thirty seconds to hide, and then I will come looking for you," she explained. "Do you understand?" I nodded. "On your mark, get set.....GO!" And with those words, I took off. I wasn’t going to get caught, and suffer whatever she had in store.

I ran as fast as I could. I felt tears welling up, and as hard as I tried, they spilled over, blurring my vision momentarily. I had a large house, so there must have been a place those glaring gold eyes wouldn’t look. I was sure of that.

Finally I found a place she couldn't find even if she tried. I decided to hide in a secret room in our attic hidden behind a bunch of clothes on a rack. I found a comfortable place, and hid myself as well as I could. I had no idea what the outcome of this would be. Would she leave if she found me?

Around ten minutes had passed. I assumed she had given up. As I looked around, the darkness seemed slightly relieving. I almost wanted to drift off to sleep. But then...

"I found you..."
