Snow

I GOT IT DONE BEFORE THE DEADLINE TRISH! This is your One Shot, NarutoxTrish! Hope you like it! I'll make it up to you if you don't like it.

****************************
They were so totally trapped.

Naruto passed his glove-clad fingers across the walls of the cave. "Gaah."

Trish glanced at him, though it almost looked like a glare because she was cold, and cold people aren't happy people. "No way out?"

"Weeeelll...there may be...but I'm more concerned about the yeti than anything...

If only Trish hadn't so earnestly wanted "this"....

"There's no snow..."

Trish pouted a little as she looked out of Naruto's window. They were inside of the Hokage mansion, setting up the Christmas tree. Her boyfriend, the Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto, was tangled in the lights he was trying to put on the tree. She was there to help with decorations and she was no stranger to his house, though she didn't live there.

He was humming holiday tunes when Trish voiced her distress, and though tangled in lights, he looked up at her, his "fa la la la las" stopping in a "Hm?"

"No snow." She repeated. "I really like white Christmases but I've never actually had one."

He started wrapping more lights around the tree, but he stopped again. "Really?"

Trish nodded sadly, but then she blinked. "Um...do you need help?"

"Huh?" His blue eyes blinked back at her before he broke out into a giant grin. "Not with the lights!" By the way, he was definitely lying.

"Are you sure?" Trish tilted her head to look at him.

"Ermm...no." He answered, tripping and hitting his head on the ground. He was a blur of blues, greens and reds, all of which wrapped around his body like a snake, and he looked disoriented when he hit the ground. "OUCH!"

"Oh! Naruto, hold on!" Trish laughed as she pulled the lights out of his blonde hair, then from around his legs and arms. "You should have let me help you!"

"But I thought doing the lights was the man's job!" He whined, comical tears streaming down his cheeks. I was actually taught that XD My dad does them every year

"It's the twenty-first century, women can do lights too, you know." Trish giggled, replacing the lights around the tree. "See?"

"Yeah, but I didn't think you wanted to be bothered with it." He blushed, but he was thinking about something else as he spoke. The blonde's eyes shifted to the mildly cold outdoors. No snow, huh? "Hey Trish..." Naruto looked up at her, "Other than snow, what do you want for Christmas?"

"Hm?" She blinked, and she turned her eyes to the ceiling, thoughtful. "I don't know."

He laughed, "Well, when ya figure it out, let me know, okay?"

She nodded. "Okay. Want to put popcorn on the tree?"

"But I just wanted to eat it!"

Snow...this would be hard.

"Hm? Did you want to ask me something, Naruto?"

The blonde was sitting at his desk, wearing a mature, Hokage-like expression. He waited a few moments before he answered his silver- haired sensei. "Kakashi-sensei...do you know if it may snow this Christmas?"

"Probably not. This is the Land of Fire for a reason, you know." Kakashi chuckled. "Why do you ask?"

"No reason!" The Hokage laughed, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Does it have to do with Trish?"

The tips of the Hokage's ears tipped pink. "No!" Maybe...

"Just take a trip to the mountains."

Both males turned to see Naruto's white- haired secretary, Inu. She was a young woman of fifteen, so her white hair was a bit of a ruse. "How did you know what we were talking about!?"

"I eavesdrop." She grinned, pulling out her clipboard.

"...that isn't something to be proud of." Naruto frowned.

"So you want a week in the mountains, right?" Inu said, ignoring whatever Naruto said as she scribbled madly on her clipboard. "Yep! I think that can work."

"It can?" Naruto said, genuinely excited. "AWESOME! Now I just need to see if she'll go with me."

"She will." Kakashi answered, though he raised his brow. "It's a week, isn't it? That would mean that it's overnight..." He trailed off, and Naruto's face flushed.

"SHUT UP! WE'RE NOT LIKE THAT!" He flailed.

"Suit yourself." The sensei was clearly teasing, but he was genuinely curious. Seeing his students with girlfriend, boyfriends and even spouses made him feel...well...old.

"Then it's settled! I'm going to give Trish a white Christmas!"
