my story
His oddly cut hair glistened in the sun as the blond-haired boy sat patiently on the oddly patterned colored seats of the bus. He sat there and waited, seeming to forever sit and watch the blur of houses and infinite trees. He would sometimes even stare at the colored advertisements right above him, becoming oblivious of his sense of time. That was really all he did, sit and stare out a window… I wrote down into the rainbow colored book in my hands.
I stared at the blond-haired boy trying to remember his name; I mean I met him before…. I think. The one thing I know is that he’s enrolled into my school.
Well, all I did was write in my book about the many other people occupying the bus. It was one of the things that I seemed to do, whether I was conscious of it or not.
I stared again at the blond boy. He let tuffs of hair fall around his cheeks, shaping it like trying to frame the perfect structure of his face. The bangs were widely spread but accumulated closer to the right side of his head where the hair was cut longer than the left. The longer strands fell down slightly past his chin making the overall looks of his hair an outstanding spiky mess.
His body was muscular and well built but he still looked solemn and calm like he was wearing a mask. His clothes fit him perfectly and were not the annoying gangster style of clothing but a normal fit that was neither too tight nor too baggy.
I was at it again, absently writing without even knowing who he is. My eyes still lingered towards him. I couldn’t help but be mesmerized by his looks as his pale skin looked so pure and his blond hair accented his face.
No, no, no I’ve got to stop doing this, it’s not right, it’s wrong to be staring, staring is rude. But I don’t know why but I can’t help it, I really can’t, I don’t know why but I can’t. Maybe I should use his idea and look out the window that might help. Oh no, I think I’ll just keep my eyes on my book. He just caught me staring but luckily it wasn’t so bad, he just gave me a funny look like a what-the-heck–are–you-doing kind of look, and then turned his head and attention back to the window. For a moment there I thought I’d die from a heart attack, that’s a breather.
Okay so I can’t look at him again, oh well that’s not too bad and besides there’s plenty of more people on this bus than just him. Lets see, oh I know I’ll just write about the other random person in the complete opposite direction of him.
The dark eyes he possessed glowed from the reflection of the sun. The even darker hair that he possessed seemed to be strikingly familiar as it was spiked up at the back and bangs parted at the front…
wait the blond guy is staring at me, he just didn’t fit anymore and besides he needs to have a name.Well yes the blond guy was now staring at me seeming that I’m now more interesting to look at than the window I guess. I’ll just ignore him, he’ll loose interest eventually.
He too had a muscular body like the blond guy but it wasn’t as defined, meaning that well he wasn’t as good-looking as the blond guy but still good-looking none the less. His clothes though were worn out and baggier than the blond guys but was still not gangster looking at all.
His gaze was, unlike the blond guys, concentrated on a cell phone letting his thumbs finger the keys while he texted his message to the sender. He seemed pretty occupied with this since he did not once let his gaze linger anywhere but his cell phone...
The blond guy is still looking at me with a strange look in his eye that read a do-I-know-you-from-somewhere type of look. Maybe this will all pass, I really hope so. I still didn’t look at him directly at his eyes. Instead I let myself use my peripheral vision to look at him. It would be a stupid thing to let him know I was watching.
Since I seem to be so interested into the blond guy I think maybe I’ll just continue with writing about him. The blond guys gaze was still attached to me as I now notice the unrealistic shad of blue he had for eyes. They were so magnificent to look at that I could barely stop myself from getting lost in them. His expression was still questionable but other than that it seemed that he never noticed that I was looking straight back at him.
The bus jerked abruptly making me loose my balance from my seat and sending my rainbow notebook flying from my hands. My body became a mess of limbs sprawled across the bus floor. The bus driver was stressing out while repeating over and over again about how sorry he was to all his passengers, But I wasn’t paying attention to him instead I was lost in the blond guys eyes. He held my notebook in his hands and he was offering me a hand to help me up. Of course I gladly took it and winced slightly at the pain of my right knee. The jeans that I wore were ripped at the knee and provided no protection for the skin underneath which started bleeding red.
“Oh, um thank you,” I stupidly thanked as he handed me my notebook.
“No problem,” he lightly smiled while obviously impressed with my fall but yet still showed concern.
“So are you just going to stand there while letting your knee bleed there?” he questioned with a very small but hardly noticeable crooked grin.
“Oh, yeah, right,” I mumbled and then plopped myself into the nearest seat available, he then sat right beside me. I don’t know why he would care that much about me I mean after all we probably haven’t met before.
“Here” he said while giving me a few band-aids, it seemed so strange that he would happen to have some on him.
“Thank you”
“Your welcome”
“Well thank you again, I really mean it”
“No seriously you don’t need to make a big deal about it”
“But I want to”
“Oh, never mind. You go Radiant garden Academy too right?”
“Yeah, don’t you as well”
“Yep! Oh sorry to be rude, my names Cloud”
“I’m Tifa, pleased to meet you Cloud” I said with a smile.
“Well I hope to see you tomorrow!” Cloud said suddenly as he got up and walked steadily to the bus doors. He smiled and waved in my direction before the doors opened and he walked off the bus, making me wonder how my day suddenly got so weird.

Prolog
Maybe it was my imagination or was it a reality, I wouldn’t know. Shadows fall and the light disappears. What is there to do? How do we find the light? What is there to do to save us all, that’s my question.
These were my questions that I lay unanswered since all along the answer was in my heart or that was at least what King Mickey told me. He was very distinct about what the factors of light and dark meant. What is there to life if there is no darkness? There is always the dark; it is the absence of light.
Chapter one
“Hey, Riku!” It was Sora calling from the background. I whisked my head to the side to answer his thundering call.
Finally Sora caught up; maybe life was going to be fine on destiny islands.
“Riku!” he tried to catch his breath”Kairi told me to tell you to finish packing so that you won’t be late for the bus tomorrow.” Oh right the bus! I had almost forgotten about the whole thing! (Note the sarcasm) I really wasn’t that exited going off to boarding school, its bad enough that we had just gotten back home from our ‘wonderus’ adventure from saving the worlds.
Sora could tell I wasn’t paying attention.
“Riku what’s on your mind?” he asked. I was fully prepared to say every thing but that would just make things worse, instead I went with the more typical answer “Nothing.” That put a questioning face on Sora’s normally happy complexion.
“What’s wrong?” oh he could read me so well.
“Like I said, nothing,” the ‘oh so’ creative Riku talking, I mean I would have thought of a better comeback than that but I was too lazy at the time. (Sora’s rubbing off on me)
What is there to say to such a lousy question? Sora dropped the whole conversation and sighed, I guess he was going to miss it here too.
Sora and I walked down the beach towards the boats, maybe if we don’t run into Kairi we’ll be alright. I wasn’t in the mood to talk to Kairi, nagging me to finish packing. But then I found out that I spoke too soon, Kairi somehow managed to find out that I wasn’t exactly packed yet, she then sent Sora who would do anything that she wished and then she must have waited outside my house to see if I returned home yet so when I didn’t she went out looking for me, just great! Look at how controlled my life is. Now let me predict what she’s going to say ‘Riku you’re supposed to be packing!’
“Riku I thought I told Sora to tell you to finish packing!” like I said she was pretty predictable.
“That’s what I was going to do!”
“I don’t think that’s what you were going to do!”
“I was so!” poor Sora he really didn’t know what to do about the two of us.
“You guys, maybe we can all get along and stop fighting,” Sora tried to explain. It was kind of strange for me since normally Kairi was the peace keeper, not Sora. None the less we both stopped our bickering and stared away from each other; it was kind of embarrassing at that moment.
“Hey you guys, race you to Riku’s house!” Sora laughed and took off running towards the boats.
“Hey, no fair,” I yelled knowing exactly who was going to win. Hey you can’t blame me, I know all the shortcuts.
“You guys!” Kairi complained she hated running. As you can tell she was going to be dead last.
I then noticed that the sun was setting. It seemed so beautiful and yet so quick as the three of us disappeared into our boats at the end of the day.
