Right now, we are trying to start a Death Note group story featuring OCs.
The plot is:
"It's a few years in the future, after the events of Kira and L--which are still fresh in the peoples' minds. Somehow, someone(or some people) obtain a Death Note and some may decide to continue Kira's work and return the world back to a 'peaceful place'. (Some OCs, of course, will need to be on L's side..)
So, the group who are in favor of Kira eventually go head to head against those who support L's views. Now, of course, we can use some of Stixx's ideas and have all these people be friends or go to the same school. And of course, there will be plenty of switching sides and epic battles and such...
(And) ...somehow, the existance of the Death Note is leaked, and a lot of people start to follow the Death Note trend, and retailers decide to sell it because it's so popular among the young people. So therefore, we have fake Death Notes. And then a group of friends who chance upon a real Death Note, but they didn't know about it until the death god comes."
Heya doods. For a second there, I thought the Note BLUE was dying. xD
I guess everyone's just busy with school and all.
So, I haven't made a post in a while... let's see..
Oh, first of all: some manga news! I learned about a while ago that the creators of Death Note, Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata had created a new manga called "Bakuman"! Written by Ohba and wonderfully illustrated by Obata, it's about two boys who want to make a manga together; one of them wants to become famous and the wants to get the girl.
There's one thing weird about Bakuman, though. The beginning is very, very familiar. So familiar in fact, it starts like the beginning of Death Note, where Light is bored and finds the notebook. The main character has the same mannerisms as Light and says some of the same things as Light, like how he’s bored at having to live the dull life he is living and such… But it’s a very good manga anyway. I might be drawing some fan-art of all our characters soon... It will be as epic as our story. Yes...
And did you know that you all could post about any anime you wanted in this world? It's not just limited to Death Note, since everyone has to like more than one anime.
I just want more people to be active in this world, that's all. T.T
Some more Death Note related things before I finish:
There was a Death Note special that aired in Japan on August 22nd titled "Death Note Rewrite 2: Eru no Tsugu Mono (L's Successors)". It is a sequel to the first Death Note Rewrite, "Genshi Suru Kami", which was pretty much supposed to be a three-hour compilation of L and Light's confrontations in the series retold from Ryuk's perspective. Here's an example; Ryuk is watching Light at L's funeral:

Anyway, the sequel, Death Note Rewrite 2, will recount the Mello and Near arc of the series, showing all of their confrontations with Kira. And for all the (un)lucky people who didn't see the first Rewrite, there will be an exposition in the beginning of the special with L and Watari summing up everything that had happened so far. xD
There was also a Death Note one-shot manga featuring Near 3 years after Light's death. It was created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, and it deals with a new Kira. It's very interesting and Near looks a LOT like L. It's kinda creepy. Check it out: Death Note One-shot
And Death Note has finally started showing in Australia. ;P Since April of this year, lol.

Description: Long brown hair. Grey eyes and lot’s of freckles. Hour-glass figure. Very pale and delicate. Glasses.
Personality: Can be extremely quiet and prefers to listen then talk. Is very serious and a heavy reader. Takes life very seriously. Very calm in tough situations and is kind despite her serious attitude. Is a very smart woman, she earned her scholarship at To-Oh university on an essay she did in 10th grade.
History: During the time of Kira she was a true L supporter and was scarred by Kira supporters. Her mother was a good friend of Naomi Misora and Naomi would visit often, telling her a few cases she had been on. It was then that Hannah learned of L. When Naomi died by Kira’s hands Hannah became determined to support the true justice; thus she became an L supporter. When Kira fell she was over-joyed. But Kira supporters had hurt her. She had been harassed and beaten by them, just for being an L supporter. This caused her to have an even bigger hate for Kira. She had grown up in Kira’s world.
Eating Habits: (XD) She always drinks English tea. Yums…..
Gryss was a death god. A shinigami. And like all others in the shinigami world, he was bored. This boredom is how all stories and adventures begin: from the desire to do something interesting.
Gysss lied on his favorite rock in the shiniga...
I decided to watch L's Death again thinking "Oh I've alreday seen it 2 times I won't cry again" but of course I ball my eyes out!!!! It just so sad. From about L's foot massage to Ligt foing is stupid facade. Light's facade really get's me though because I think "How can he do that?" put on a great show while youu killed him. God...why do animes always make me cry?
