Blunt honesty.

Sorry in advance Captain Ronnie if this hurts your feelings, but I really need to get this out....

So you know those people that are so close to you and you can talk to them about almost anything? So since they're so close they give you critisim about your artwork that you may or may not have worked to hard on. Sometimes it's good and helps you, but other times....You know they just tear it apart bit by bit, line by line, molicule by molicule. So then you're sitting there going, 'I've gotten so much better since when I first started drawing and you were there, but just NOW are you giving me all this critisim!? I sucked -instert years here- years ago and you didn't critisize me then!!! This just makes me not want to show you anything! Yeah my style is changing and you liked it better this other way and yes I messed up the thumbs during the inking and I don't care if it's a bad color on them I wanted to do that color!!!!!!!!!!!' Then you have a mental break down and don't draw for three months and you're living in your closet growing mushrooms with faces and your oc's living in your head are in a furious rage. (If you have oc's living in your head like I do)

*sigh* I'm pretty sure a lot of you have a person you know like that. You love them to death, but you just wish they'd treat your art like everyone else's and leave the bluntness out sometimes. But if they need to tell you they should tell you in person if they see it on the internet or something, or say it nicely and not like some snobby higher up person. You know you just want them to bring you up to. But for all those years you were to nice to tell them to stop and the times you did snap you felt bad, but they did stop critisizing during the time you didn't draw hardly anything, but when you did start drawing again they just started up again and you had to go through that whole process all over again. But in the end you love them so much you just keep putting up with it.

*sigh* Sorry about that guys I just needed to get that out. So, now enjoy the song 'Change the World' from Inyuasha.
