Thanks for checking out my lessons~~ Sorry again that I'm so lazy with updating them! XD Yeah, it's important to understand English grammar before trying to learn another language...to know what particles are and whatnot. ^^; It's quite confusing!
This is the only time I'm thanking my english teacher we're learning grammar. XD I kind of get particles, but I know they will be hard to learn and remember. I await your next lesson eagerly! =P
Ga and wa are tricky too. My sensei taught that they were there to mark emphasis.
His example was that if someone was looking for him "the Frenchman" to give a million dollars, and they pointed out the obviously American guy, he would step in and say "Watashi ga furansujin desu" or "I am the frenchman". Emphasizing himself as the most important part of the sentence. While saying "watashi wa furansujin desu" would be putting more emphasis on the fact that he is French.
Well, since ga and wa are used with different topics and everything, just think of them this way:
ガGA will point to the left <ga
はWA will point to the right wa>
Arigatou! :3 Yes, I think I said it's at the end most of the time...not all the time. I'll make sure I say that clearly! You're the resident Japanese here, so you should know. XD I'm not too good with kanji, so what did you say about lesson 3? I would take a stab and say you were complimenting it. *laugh* subarashii? maybe? XD Like I said, I suck at kanji.
I agree with Sakura Kokoro. ^^ This is very useful. ^^ Thanks for the lesson K-sensei. ^_^ Hmmm...so now I know what the particles are for. I always wondered about them. And I knew Japanese sentences are said differently from English, but I didn't know that the verb is always at the end.
When all hope seems lost…look for it…don’t give up yet. See it through the end before deciding the outcome. There is also a possibility something good is bound to happen.
