Wow, thanks for the comment, lol. I haven't updated this japanese world in a very long time! ^^; I got too lazy. And I realize I'm not THAT good.
You're going to be posting blogs in japanese? Like with kanji/hiragana? Cause wow, I don't know if I can be that helpful with that, lol. I fail at reading Japanese. Hiragana/katakana are fine, but I don't know enough kanji. :/ But that's cool! I'll check it out.
I have trouble with は and が as well, but I think krustyknuckles is right about the emphasis. One thing I wanted to correct you on is that atasi may be informal I/me, but it's used exclusively by females, so guys should stick to ore/boku. I didn't recognize ichitaka's kanji either initially, but I have a program called JEDict that you can use to look up English and Japanese words really fast, but it may only be for Macs. Then I would suggest maybe studying kanji using virtual flashcards on a program called Anki. I use paper flashcards myself, but these virtual ones are great for vocab in general.
Lastly, I recently made a world called Rurouni Gaijin where I'm going to be posting blogs in Japanese. Maybe you can come by and we can get some discussion going?
You mean "watashi wa haffu--amerikajin to nihonjin"? Kakkoi! ^__^
I'm amazed someone came across my site after all this time! As you can see, I haven't updated it in a while. ^^; I got stuck with what lesson to have next, lol, and I've been busy...and forgetful...*gives you more excuses* Arigatou! Mata kite ne? Ja ne~
Great! Now I can learn Japanese without the help of my mom! OK let me practice....
Konbanwa!
Watashi no Doraemon2356(Kaeru~Chan)! Watashi wa Nihongo wasereta! Dame! Dame! Dame! Watashi no American-Jin/Nihonjin! Pocky tabetai >.<~!!!

Domo Arigato Gozaimasu~<3!!!
Thanks for checking out my lessons~~ Sorry again that I'm so lazy with updating them! XD Yeah, it's important to understand English grammar before trying to learn another language...to know what particles are and whatnot. ^^; It's quite confusing!
This is the only time I'm thanking my english teacher we're learning grammar. XD I kind of get particles, but I know they will be hard to learn and remember. I await your next lesson eagerly! =P
Ga and wa are tricky too. My sensei taught that they were there to mark emphasis.
His example was that if someone was looking for him "the Frenchman" to give a million dollars, and they pointed out the obviously American guy, he would step in and say "Watashi ga furansujin desu" or "I am the frenchman". Emphasizing himself as the most important part of the sentence. While saying "watashi wa furansujin desu" would be putting more emphasis on the fact that he is French.
Well, since ga and wa are used with different topics and everything, just think of them this way:
ガGA will point to the left <ga
はWA will point to the right wa>
Arigatou! :3 Yes, I think I said it's at the end most of the time...not all the time. I'll make sure I say that clearly! You're the resident Japanese here, so you should know. XD I'm not too good with kanji, so what did you say about lesson 3? I would take a stab and say you were complimenting it. *laugh* subarashii? maybe? XD Like I said, I suck at kanji.
