Arigatou gozaimasu! I love your idea of teaching Japanese...I have a little less of knowledge of Japanese than you do! =] I understand some by watching anime, however, I haven't taken Japanese classes XDD Only if they were available near me...but anyways, the thing that's hard to learn is the kanji, hiragana, katakana o___o I'm going to push myself to learn them muhahah XD This was a good first lesson!
This post made me thank God that he made me Romanian XD You see, pronunciation in Romanian is very similar to that in Japanese, especially the vowels. Thank you for the post, it's very appreciated ^^ Though I'll have to print out that table, I can't memorize it to save my life lol *hugs*
I'd be happy to do a guest post here to cover some of it as I am learning it. I'll have to keep in mind that my sensei is french and will likely teach this way different from your teacher. I also have some links and other useful tools to share :D
OH wow! You give great detail in the sounds! haha i found myself trying to say it out loud xD As for the chart i dont know hat to say, haha it completly...caught me off guard becuase i had no idea how to read it xD
Wow I learned something new today! ^_^ I already knew the vowels sounds, but everything else you talked about are a bit new to me. ^^ XD lol Hmmm foreign languages are amazing! ^^ XP lol Looking forward to taking more lessons whenever you can post more. I remember this guy in this Japanese club I was in though I never took the class and he spelled my name in kanji. It was really cool. ^-^
XD lol I use to prounounced anime "ahnamee" XD LOL
Hm.... If you want to learn the Japanese alphabet quicker, try set up your keyboard to JP Microsoft IME Hiragana mode and write some Japanese in your PC. こうやってね。
With the pronunciation I'm okay since it's similar to the spanish language like Xaos said ^^ so that's a help.
Oh so the alphabet consist of two letter eh? no wonder when it comes to writting, the japanese phrases are always shorter than the english ones since in english is only one letter. *nods* thanks for that =].
Now, what I like to know is the format when speaking/writting...I don't know how to put a sentence together T_T XD. But we'll get there ne? =].
Whoa! Wow, I guess you can teach. Not like I had any doubts though, but this is great. Yes, I know of the vowels, same in Spanish. ah, eh, ee, oh, ooh Just like in Spanish.
Wow this is a GREAT idea for a world. I have tried to learn the odd phrase before, but that is it. Good luck with this ^_^ keep it up.
One more thing, when you write the odd Japanese phrase in your post, could you put the English translation next to it in brackets or something? Please? I'm a complete novice really and I don't always catch your meaning... Thankies *huggles*
:D Thank you for your expert addition! I'm hoping to try and teach some Japanese here, but I don't know how well it will go seeing as I don't know all that much! You're the fluent one. XD I'm just going to do simple little lessons that hopefully people will understand, if they want to.
Pretty good. You can also remember them by First letter of the row. So it goes like this: a, ka, sa, ta, na, ha, na, ha, ma, ya, ra, wa, n. This help you remember which Japanese alphabets come in which row.
