Street Fighter 4 anime on the way

Remember those Street Fighter clips I lead you too earlier? Well, turns out they're apart of an upcoming film! Here's the details:

There hasn't been a damn good Street Fighter anime film that can measure up to the one released in Japan back in 1994. We're talking about the Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie--the one that opens up on the oh-so-awesome fighting scene between Ryu and Sagat in the thundering grass fields.

Thankfully, we have another contender to look forward to: Producer Yoshinori Ono announced during last week's Tokyo Game Show that a full-length Street Fighter IV anime film is currently being produced. The studio behind it is Studio 4C, the folks behind the promo videos. Ono introduced a teaser clip during last week's event, and GameSpot gave out the following details:

The three-minute clip of the upcoming film showed:

"...Scenes with Cammy walking through the woods with a group of troops, Ryu awakening to his dark side, Sakura and Chun-Li fighting together against a gang of thugs, and Crimson Viper fighting against Ryu."

Ono said that the film should run around 50 to 60 minutes, with renowned artists producing. People like Animatrix artist Koji Morimoto and Jirou Kanai, who worked on Steamboy. We're looking forward to this way more than that other movie...definitely. Oh and, just like the "other" one, Ono plans to release the anime film simultaneously with the game's console debut.

Street Fighter IV, the video game, is due out in the first quarter of 2009 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms.

Oh yeah, if you clicked there and you saw the trailers I showed you before... doesn't it look familiar?

SF4 it's coming...

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted here eh? Well, if you haven't already I'd strongly suggest going to this site again http://www.streetfighter.com/flash/ Why am I pointing to you this site again? A new anime trailer! This time it's about Chun Li and it also shows Guile and Cammy. Also on the site you can see the new cover art for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

Hmm, I also have something else for ya. An AMV that was just made by VegetoEX the owner of the Dragonball site Daizex which is a site I'd swear by. Huh? Oh yeah it's a Street Fighter AMV! Watch it! It should whet your appetite until Street Fighter 4.

The boss of SF4! Plus awesome trailers

So the boss of SF4 has been revealed a while ago. I just forgot to post about it. His name is Seth. He is the chief of the weapons development of Shadaloo. He modified his body using advanced technology.
That's him

Another thing I want to mention is the official siteSF official site they have some cool stuff there. Particularly this one anime trailer that is just boss. I mean it, it's awesome. It shows Gouki (Akuma) fighting Ryu, and... it's great.

I think I'll finish with some pics of SF4 then.

Also I was planning on doing some guides as well to be honest. You know on how to use the characters but not just guides like that but story stuff too you know make this a complete Street Fighter world if you want to help just pm me xaos. You have to show love to Ryu first.

Hadou Shou Ryu Ken

Hello everyone, My name is Jason. Im a friend of xaos, and a fellow fan of Street Fighter and everything Martial Arts ^^ Ive never guest posted on someone elses page so im somewhat nervous, hopefully this post will be enjoyed from one Street Fighter Fan to another all over the world ^_^

For this post I thought id express my opinions and likes about the anime series "Street Fighter 2 V". I first got my taste of this series a couple years ago while browsing channels and i stumbled upon a STARZ related channel that is a part of my cable package which happened to be showing an episode. I decided to give it a chance and i sat and watched the episode 9 i believe it was episode 2 : King of the Air Force) and to my surprise, i really really enjoyed it and i found myself recording all of the episodes and eventually buying the box set lol. I personally believe that i liked the series more because it portrayed Ken and Ryu as equals rather than one really being one up on the other. I remember when i was younger and playing the Super Nintendo version, and id always get into it with people who claimed one was really better than the other, you know how kids can be, especially when it comes to martial arts lol and i suppose i was no different lol. All in all, the SF2V series has the best of everything that the Street Fighter universe can give -

Great fighting throught the entire series , especially the Ken & Vega battle
Staying true to the characters and their development throughout the story
The large cast of characters and how their goals intertwine as the story moves

In my opinion, this series managed to pull everything off vey well and i never found myself being bored with it, and if you ask me - thats what is important in an anime series or videogame, especially if it has to do with martial arts and/or fighting in general. Xaos and myself found each other chatting a couple days ago about how well SF2V was put together and all the little things we enjoyed about it whether it was the introduction of Nash, or how incredibly bloody the battle between Ken & Vega was. In the end, the whole experience interpreted into an awesome experience - whether you are a fan of martial Arts, videogames, anime or otherwise, you truly have to appreciate the dedication Street Fighter 2 V brings in all regards. ^^

Well, id like to thank Xaos for allowing me the chance to guest post on his awesome page and i surely hope i didnt let him down in any way ^_^

Thanks again - till next time

Yamchaa
