Extension on Contest

The contest has been extended another week - so next Saturday by midnight all entries will be due. I'll probably be judging sometime on Sunday, so good luck to all.

CONTEST ENDING SOON!

Yes, remember that the deadline for the contest ends in MERE DAYS! One person has entered. You all have failed me. If there are several people with work in progress - I'll extend it, but as of right now I have no one sending me messages about an extension. Good luck! Spread the word about this! You'll probably win something since no one really has entered! lol

Contest - Who am I?

That's right, I'm holding a contest. I severely doubt anyone will enter this considering I only have about three friends on here (all of which are uber busy!) but if you do enter, I shall provide prizes! What's This All About? This c...

SGMS, Signatures, Art, Etc

Prepare yourself... ... for a lengthy post. I've noticed I hold off on posting until I have so much crap in my brain that I just become a human bomb and explode - through writing. What's first on the agenda? Oh, I was wondering how ma...

Stuff n' Stuff

I'm updating, isn't that amazing? I really should do it on a regular basis. (Not that anyone really looks at these things but me. lol) I started watching Trigun. I really like it so far. I've only see the beginning but it's rocking my world. I've been watching a lot lately not because I have the time, but I really miss background noise. It's too quiet being here, so I basically have a movie in at all times now. I 'sorta' watched Pan's Labyrinth, Mirrorworld, Shakespeare in Love, Mystery Science Theatre (4th), Pocohantas, Dumbo, 1st dvd of Evangelion, Gackt Red (damn myself), A Knight's Tale, Robin Williams Live on Broadway, House (yes!), and some other ones I can't really think of at the moment in about 2 1/2 days. I don't feel like I watched half of them though, since I was basically doing homework the entire time. I want to re-watch Pan's Labyrinth and Mirrorworld and actually pay attention, 'cause they were fantastic from what I saw.
I had a flipbook at the pencil-test of my walk cycle due so far in my Intro to Animation class. It's easily my favorite class, so I already know that I picked the right major. It's tedious, and hard, and long, and you get a lot of errors, but I love it so much. I don't care of it's disney, or warner, or anime - I love making and seeing drawings move.
For my walk cycle I nearly killed myself. The average for most walk cycles is about 12 frames - well, I wanted to be extra fluid and drew 24 frames. I tested it multiple times and everytime I did, I had to fix something. I re-drew it about 5 times until I was satisfied (I think I'm still going to fix the hips though, they're bothering me)- now I've got to ink, color, and make a background for them to move in. Once I'm done, I promise to put in on devianatart and send you guys a link. I would like to put music on it, but it has to be music I made up or I own the copyright to. I'll probably skip that part in the end. My teacher told me I was being a perfectionist when I told him I thought the head bob was too extreme. lol.
Anyway that's it - oh, wait - I also saw 'Virgin Snow' (a Korean/Japanese movie you can see on crunchyroll.com along with 'Nobody Knows') it was sweet. I normally hate romance movies, but Virgin Snow was nice. I still like Nobody Knows more, though.
