This was the first of the winter season and Nears white pajamas held no warmth. He looked up and shivered as the snow fell from the blackness any normal person would call a sky. He was obviously not a normal person. He just kept walking on... feeling the snow under his new shoes (the River residence maids made him ware them). You might be wondering where he was going now don't you? well due to the rumors i have to change my story up. He was on his way to Mello's house... 
HA JUST KIDDING... He was actually on his way to Kira's house... he needed the Death Note.
Although i could make an intresting story out of the other start... 
HE walked until he came to the small wooden doors to the loft of Light Yagami's hose... he knew where they lived because he had worked with Lights father in the past.
