Books are for reading

A few days ago I was asked why I didn't have a Facebook account. To which I said, "I know where I am, those who I want to know know where I am. Books are for reading anyway."

Bad joke I know. SO sue me.

Shameless blog plug HERE.

So, I've been collecting many books for this year but I had gotten sidetracked after I found a box of old Manga that I haven't finished or read in a while. So, to start out my current tracking of my book challenge for the year:

Finished:

Manga:
Kamichama Karin 7volumes
Alien Nine 4 Volumes
To Heart 3 Volumes
Kashimashi 5 volumes

Books:
The Currents of Space- Isaac Asimov
The Wavering of Suzumiya Haruhi- Nagaru Tanigawa
Like Stars, Like Dust- Isaac Asimov
The Rosie Project- Graeme Simsion
Still Life- Louise Penny

Currently reading:
Visions or Sugar Plums- Janet Evanovich
Hollow City (Second novel of the Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children)- Ransom Riggs

The stand out title is Hollow City. The first Peculiar Childern book was a very unique and fun and unexpected book. The photos and sketches were so bizzar at times and the was the author weaves them into the story is seemless. By the end of the first book, I could easily convince myself that the photos were really of the events in the book.
So if you haven't read the first one, do so. Then read the second and prepare for the third when Riggs finishes it.
