Snow!

It has been snowing here in Scotland! I get really excited because since i live near the sea there is not usually very much snow! Anyway it means that we are of school today, which i am very grateful for. ^__^
But despite the snow its still to early for christmas trees, it's only november!

Way into the otaku universe!

Up until I was 11, I had never heard of anime. The most Japanese thing I had known was my Tamagotchi.
It began when my friend started talking about a program called ‘Mew Mew Power’ she had seen on Sky. I wanted to find out what it was so I eventually ended up watching 26 episodes on youtube because I didn’t have Sky. It was so bright and colourful that my ears didn’t seem to notice the terrible dubbing. I then proceeded to watch the rest of the anime subbed and enjoyed it even more. Tokyo Mew Mew is still one of my favourite animes to date, Zakuro is still my favourite ever character and I still find myself humming ‘Koi wa a la mode’. At Christmas 2007 I was given the first two volumes of the manga which I also enjoyed.

Of course my other way into the anime world was studio ghibli. It started off with Spirited Away, then Only Yesterday, then Totoro and before you knew it I had seen them all.

It has been three years since I found anime and manga (and more recently jpop) and what a great three years its been!!!

Summer time!

Yay! We finished school today! 7 weeks of relaxation!
Sorry about all the exlamation marks. I've gone a bit mad, been watching too much 'smack the pony' (british sketch show)!

I don't think i posted about this but last month a started the viola. Its really hard but i hope i can be good someday n__n

School Reports

So, today i got my school report and to be pretty honest it was the usual which is basically quite geeky but at least that means that i have a chance of getting a job in the future! The weird thing was that Mr Virtue said i showed a talent in CDT which is kinda weird considering i hit him with a hammer (by mistake)!

Snoooooowwww!

Yesterday there was loads of snow and i was like "eeeeeeeeee"!
We went sledging at starbank park with my cousins and it was really fun but then because the snow was sooo bright i went all dizzy, so that was weird. Maybe i should wear sunglasses in the snow!
