Earth Star

Earth Star

A group of non-mutant that uses enhancements from magical items to genetic alterations to technology, weapons, cyber implants, and other advances, to even the ground against mutants.

Tempered Arm: An Earth Star elite squadron who specialize in exoskeletons. Lead by Captain (actual armed force rank) J.B. Stine, better know as Captain Steel Beat, they are used in extreme circumstances when facing mutants, natural disasters, and sometimes military aid. Each suit is made custom for each wearer for best maneuverability. Also besides that, most armor has unique attributes. And of course increase the strength and stamina of who is in it. Females usually do not where the human shaped armor because it is easier to make for men because of the broad shoulders and narrower hips, but there is one or two at any given point.

Shrine Robbers: An Earth Star faction devoted to finding magical and powerful items from the past to give them an edge in the fight against humans. Headed by a man know as Gem Finder, they are proficient in finding magical items which abilities range from increasing knowledge and strength to controlling nature and teleporting. There once was tens of thousands of such artifacts but now they dwindle since none know how to construct them anymore and they slowly become destroyed one by one.

Monsters: An Earth Star research group devoted to developing ways to enhance human ability to equal that of mutants through genetic engineering, elixirs, chemicals, and other bio-scientific ways. Heading this branch are the men, know as The Three Mad Men (like three wise men). This branch is not entirely condoned by the others because of the inhuman experiments done in it but the results have be useful more than once so tolerated. The Three Mad Men do have a number of genetically and chemically manufactured mutants (in other words home made from scratch and out of normal humans) at their disposal and control.

Flesh and Steel: A group of individuals that have developed and implemented cybernetics. Every member has to have at least one piece of cybernetic technology in their body to be apart of the group. Originally, this was not a branch but part of the medical group to save the lives of those who would otherwise be non-healable by conventional means. Now being lead by a small committee including the once head medical chief of cybernetics, Breen King (The Healer), they not only save lives but also enhance their members with powerful and lethal technology (lasers, sonic rays, guns built into the replacement limbs, etc.).
High Star: The unofficial leading group of the organization. Though no one group is over the rest, High Star is the one that designates most of the operations done all the others. They also have the advantage in the fact that they try to use all that the others have to offer (a bit of exoskeleton here, genetic enhancement there and so on). This makes them able to keep all the factions together better than the other groups could. Ultimately led by Brian Tase, along with his five captains, this group has by far the most members than the other branches though many are not altogether directly involved (saying we support you but mainly staying at home and living their lives).

There are of course other groups like Earth Star but none that encompasses so many different types of fields as it does.
