Welcome to the place where I post anything that has to do with East Asian music!

New Music Videos, New Song Previews, Info About Certain Bands/Singers, etc. anything that I decide to do that'll make it more fun to listen to music!

I will try my best to keep you guys up to date with bands/singers' new music and music videos!

So Please Enjoy~!

About the Name:

I know, it's a very strange title for a music world. But most bands and singers that I've seen always cheer at their lives to make the crowd more excited and that's the kind of feeling I get from the music I like. So cheer! And be happy! ^ ^

Second Post!

Alright! Now this is the second post so I'll show you the first singles by my favorite j-pop group. You'll probably see a lot of this group in this world.

In 1996 or 1997, somewhere around those dates, there was this contest to make a star out of these girls who entered. And though there was only one winner, the runners up were put to a task to sell 50,000 copies of their first single and if these sold them all then they would become the new j-pop group Morning Musume. They did so and over time Morning Musume has grown up to become one of the most popular j-pop groups in Japan.

This is the song that they had to sell 50,000 copies. It's not Morning Musume's first official single, but I like to think that it was. The song is called Ai no Tane:

The singers in this video are (by order of appearance) Asuka Fukuda, Natsumi Abe, Kaori Iida, Aya Ishiguro, and Yuko Nakazawa(who was the oldest).

This next song is Morning Musume's first official single (Morning Coffee):

From order of appearance the singers in this single are: Kaori Iida, Yuko Nakazawa, Aya Ishiguro, Asuka Fukuda, and Abe Natsumi.

In this next song you will see new members. The song is called Summer Night Town:

The solo appearances are too far from each other that I can't really list them. The new members are Sayaka Ichii, Mari Yaguchi, and Yasuda Kei.

This next song is called Daite Hold on Me!:

Same problem with Summer Night Town.

As you can see in these videos Abe Natsumi slowly becomes the main vocalist. This is because of her popularity at the time.

How Morning Musume Works: Other people audition to be in the group as older members graduate. Soon, many of the members of Morning Musume in these videos will graduate. Currently, none of the original members of Morning Musume are still singing in H!P (it's basically all these groups like Berryz and such that are in one big group all created by Tsunku) or Morning Musume.

First Post!

Since it's the first post, I'll show you some of the earlier j-pop singers I know. Unfortunately, some like The Peanuts are too old for me to show you their music, but another duo has covered their songs. W (Double You) who are a duo of Tsuji Nozomi and Kago Ai, have many of their versions of The Peanuts music. Here are some of those songs:

This song is called Koi no Vacance and it was originally by The Peanuts.

This is probably one of the most famous j-pop songs as I've seen it in tons of different anime and sung by many different people.

Here is another j-rock sounding version of Koi no Fuga. I personally like it, it sounds really interesting and really cool.

This is a PV done by Pink Lady, the original singers of this song, in 2004. The song is called Pepper Keibu.

Hope you guys enjoyed the more earlier j-pop. And I know, it sounds a lot like disco, because back then it WAS disco, kinda.
