Twilight Review

So...my friend has an English project due tomor and she asked me to help her so I wrote the review for her book for her -.- and here it is...
Twilight is a deeply intriguing novel, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, geared towards females. This intricately written story is filled with forbidden romance, action, and suspense that will keep you up until the wee hours of morning. The main character is just a regular teenage girl named Bella, which is why I believe so many teenage girls are attracted to this story. Bella falls in love with a boy whom she deems to be entirely out of her range and unattainable. The boy’s name is Edward and he is described as having godly beauty and grace, but what Bella doesn’t know in the beginning is that he is also a vampire. The moment Bella sets her eyes on this god-like creature in the lunch cafeteria the forbidden romance begins; a human and a vampire. As Bella’s story progresses, she finds herself in many near-death incidents in which Edward comes to the rescue with his swift vampire abilities. From out of control vans to creepy men downtown, Edward would be there. All the while Bella falling deeper in love and likewise Edward discovers he is also in love with her. After half a book full of suspenseful romance the new couple finally share their first kiss and I could almost hear wild fan-girls squealing in the back of my mind, but maybe that was me. You would want the book to simply stop there, Bella in her perfect world with her perfect vampire boyfriend, but it doesn’t. The story takes an unexpected turn to full on action. A new vampire comes to town and smells Bella’s intoxicating scent and begins to hunt her. The new perfect couple is separated and Bella is once again put into another death experience. Edward will do whatever it takes to save Bella, and the new vampire will stop at nothing to kill her. The action is on and the vampire battle has begun. Twilight has definitely been one of the best books I’ve read this year and I encourage all to pick up a copy of this glossy black paper-back by Stephenie Meyer.
