Michael Jackson died. My idol as a kid has passed away. I feel numb.
I haven't posted on this thing in forever. I've been relying mostly on my LJ more than anything. Maybe I will start to do more to this thing. I really don't have any friends here so there isn't anything keeping me here. I still miss the old site.
A comment from Adam has me thinking: is cosplay really fan art? I have always considered it as much of a valid form of fan art as any other art medium, such as drawing or 3D art. It is just as time consuming as any other form of art, if not more so. Normally it is done out of a love for the series, as other forms of fan art are. So should it be considered fan art, or be separated entirely to a category all of it's own?
I'm still trying to grasp the concept of this new site. I've been over it quite a few times, but I really wish there was an FAQ page.
Is there one, only I have missed it?
I'm still trying to catch up with some of my old buddies around here too. It's been tough since some aren't as active as they used to be, but oh well.
I'm going to give it a few more days to sink in. If I can't grasp it, I'm going to rely on my LJ and delete this account if at all possible.
I'm not sure if I am diggin this new layout and set up. I am rather partial to my old post style where I could fiddle around with it with HTML and make it pretty.
Now things seem rather...boring. And uniform.
I just need to give it a chance.
