I’d like to take a moment to talk about the practice of making RP accounts in order to do interactive storytelling here at theOtaku. In general, so long as a member isn’t making more than a few extra accounts, we are perfectly fine with this practice. However, upon reading one that I came across, I realized that a reminder that RP accounts are not exempt from the site terms is in order.

I’m sure that taking a quick look will make it crystal clear why this account has now been banned and I am issuing a reminder to our members to Keep It Reasonable. Any time you make a post it clearly states: Note that all posts must be PG-13 rated or below.
Posts and comments that are excessively littered with the F-bomb, among other swearwords, is anything but PG-13 and below. Now we’re not saying people can’t ever swear, but this kind of thing is well over the line on what is considered acceptable. If your story is going to have that much cussing in it please take it elsewhere. There are plenty of sites out there that allow that.
Now to be clear, I am not talking about personal posts. Mainly since most people are talking about their personal life and the swearing isn’t so blatant and repetitive. I’m not going to give someone grief over a rant about something that’s bothering them. Those we tend to not worry about unless they are verbal attacks directed at another member. Plus they’re not fiction or creative works that others will be reading.
Anyway, if there are questions feel free to ask in the comments. Also, if you are in an RP using an account made for it or your main account; please keep what I just said in mind.
