High Octane Organization

The High Octane Organization was first established as a form of law enforcement in order to crack down on smaller groups performing illegal experimentation on unwilling pokemon, but it later branched out to also encompass research facilities, product distribution, scholastic funding for schools, providing jobs for the people of Minokii, hosting the regional fighting tournaments, providing protection for its citizens, and allowing the free use of its training facilities to anyone wishing to improve their skills.

The organization has two divisions: the western headquarters located in Nishi City and the eastern located near Azuma Springs. Devan, a Deoxys with abnormal attributes, leads the eastern division while Dimitrius, a Darkrai whose powers are mostly unknown, leads the western division.

Although the High Octane Organization is led by both Devan and Dimitrius, five Lekkon are responsible for its founding and are the ones that the others answer to. The public does not know much about them, but they supposedly possess power far greater than what anyone has ever seen.

The organization has been around for 27 years and prides itself on helping to provide a high standard of living for the inhabitants of Minokii.

Minokii: General Info

The Minokii Region consists of an island that is totally isolated from all the other pokemon regions. Due to this isolation, the pokemon present in this region have undergone different changes, acting and developing similar to humans and living along side them as equals. Job opportunities and school education can be obtained by both. There are no actual pokemon trainers so no pokemon league is present, however, the High Octane Organization does host fighting tournaments so that both pokemon and humans can put their skills to the test.

Minokii only has two major cities, Azuma Springs and Nishi City, both of which house the eastern and western headquarters of the High Octane Organization. Small towns can usually be found near places such as Diamond Lake, the Humidian Jungle, the Taizen Hot Springs, and Glacier Peak, the highest point and coldest area of Minokii.

Pokemon that are found in other regions can be found in Minokii as well as pokemon only native to this region. Lekkon, a species considered to be the link between humans and pokemon, can also be found in this region, though only a few have been documented.

Pokeballs don't work on Minokii pokemon, so anyone visiting from another region should not even bother bringing them. Pokemon from this region are also more hardy and resilient than their counterparts, making them stronger and more difficult to defeat.
