Fear of loss

The greatest fear to most is losing their parents, even though you know you will, you still fear it.

My mother was in the kitchen this morning fixing her cup of coffee like she does every morning. Though I kept hearing stuff falling. I got up and saw my mother balancing herself on the wall. I asked what was wrong and she said she couldn't balance herself. I helped her over to the couch and sat her down. She then said, "My rightside is completely numb."

I was thinking "right? What causes the right side to go numb?"

Well, an hour passed, and, being stubborn as always, she regain feeling.

Since it was early, my mother, my friend and I decided to go back to sleep. A couple of hours later, I woke up to my mother calling my name. I ran into the living room and she said, "It happened again, Rick(my stepfather) is taking me to the emegency room." She told me to stay here and she'll call me for updates.

Several hours later, I received a phone call. It was my mother; she said they will keep her overnight.

On top of all this, we got to reading the possible side effects on her shots she's been taking. Apparently, in rare cases, Neurological and central nervous problems occured. Who would have thought that she'd be one of those rare cases?

I hope she'll be okay. She's the only parent I've got left (my father abandoned me and I don't get along with my stepfather).
