Cake or death!?

Awww, you guys are all so sweet. I feel spoiled rotten ;p Much love and cake/ice cream/pop tarts to everyone!

Aside from getting through another year of living, there's nothing much to report. Been making new stuff instead of taking pictures of the recently finished ones >.> Bought myself a place of internets (but thanks for the offer, James! *blows kiss*) with a less than ingenious address and briefly racked my brain on things surrounding this whole shebang. Good thing I have time to mull things over, since I'm not exactly the most speedy person when it comes to finalizing decisions ^_^;

Tomorrow I've got an appointment at the Unemployment office. They'll brief me on a new project (The Pomona Project ... O.o) which'll focus on coaching people/easing them into internship with the goal of getting hired. Pretty much the same set up as last time. I'll bring up what's currently going on (with the jewelry website) and see if maybe they can coach me in that direction since getting a job looks pretty slim. Don't feel like wasting my time interning someplace that won't hire me, ya know?

Oh! The little sister is coming to visit, yay! Mainly for the "Food Festival" that's going down this weekend but she felt gracious enough to squeeze us in :p Hopefully I can rope in her and the eldest sister to help me out with the photographing of the stuffs, mwuahahahaha! >:D

Don't know if I've brought this video to your attention already but here's a parting shot for ya:

Stroking of the beard can be tricky if it's attached to someone else

Hm, ya'll are somewhat spread out over that big old continent.... Mmm, mhm. Anyway :p

Lately my brain has been pretty focused on beading and quite a bit has been churned out created lately. With my room now slowly being flooded I obviously need to crack down on myself for not working harder at all on getting a place set up for selling mah jewelry stuffs. But there are some things that require the help of my wonderful friendly friends >.>

1. Hosting. Anyone got suggestions for a good deal? (I could shop around myself but asking friends who've possibly had experience with hosting seems like a better idea to me, hehe.)

2. Shaow, are you available to help me with building up the place and what do you need me to do? <:3

I know I can't dance but I love watching you do it

"So you think you can dance" makes me so happy *giggle* For season 5 I was cheering on Evan Kasprzak (*purrs*) and it was awesome how far he got! Such a sweetie and quite the groovy dancer. He could grab my butt any day ~_^

As usual there were plenty of awesome routines scattered throughout the season. Too many to get into right now but maybe I'll do a big post on the show one of these days :p

Speaking of things I've seen lately: "Jaws III" xD!!!!!!! Dad sat down for the first couple of minutes, throwing out a few quips/puns, and then he asked if he should leave me alone so's I could see it in peace. My response?

"You honestly think I'd watch this movie seriously??!!" lawls. Oh man. Great bad movie. Would've been even better with some friends to mock it further, though ;p

Other than that.... I've done nothing. Nothing. Aside from watching "So you think you can dance" to my hearts blissful content _^_ And re-furbishing my room for the umpteenth time, hehe.

PS: I'm trying to get an idea where people are populated (I keep forgetting, huh) so it'd be swell if you guys could mark it on the map, or just say the state, and PM me back /end of random post

A forgotten title is forgetful

Shaow: Awwww, we should totally live closer together :3 I'd spoil you rotten >:D

TC: xD I know very little about computers too so I just look at 1)prize tag 2)size of hard drive and memory ^_^

Azure: *checks* Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Si3535-002. And I'm hoping the specs are easy to find online seeing as I just lazed out there >.> w00t for Star Trek! :D

Morphy: ... Good question. Let's see if I can answer it somehow >.>; My current comp has an HDMI and a DVI port, whereas the monitor uses ... *asks dad* a VGA cable.

SO! It's been very warm/sunny around my parts for quite some time now, which kept me from beading and srsly browsing the web. Then I got really sick with a cold (almost collapsed ... from a cold O.o;;; yeah, it was bad). It's still lingering a little but eh.

Most of my time has been spent in front of the telly, watching Star Trek: Voyager! :D I finally gave up on the idea of watching it together with mom because it's been more than a year since we last saw some episodes and I just don't want to wait any longer >:O .... And to appease my guilt I bought her a box set of a Swedish comedy series. And a cd >______>

Today was a break from Star Trek while we (mom, dad and eldest sister) voyaged on over to IKEA. Bought some smaller stuff (lamps, a chair) and planned for a follow-up trip where/when (?) I'll be purchasing some desk materials to make my computer space work better for me.

And before I dribble down the stairs to pounce on the fridge, here's what everyone else has been up to that I couldn't reist:

Mmmmm-mmmmm!

Buying a new computer is easy and takes no effort. Installing it, however, does require a bit of attention. When unpacking my new slave from its box I realized that there was no compatible socket/plugin for the monitor cable and thus required me to either purchase a brand new monitor or find some kind of connector. I settled for the latter. Untimely enough I lacked transportation to the shops which caused a days wait for that part. Then it took (roughly) another day for installations 'n whathaveyou (started late, then there was breaks for food 'n stuffs, hence the long time). The following couple of days were devoted to familiarizing myself to Vista. Not too keen on it but it'll do.

So that is what's been keeping me busy.

And yesterday my younger sister paid for train tickets to Gothenburg so she could take me to see Star Trek :D!!!! During the weekend I got an excited call from her begging me to come down for a "nerd out" xD She'd seen it with some friends but wasn't able to share her enthusiasm with them properly. So obviously she called on me to fix that ;p

Having heard so many good things about it, along with my sisters obvious approval, I worked really hard on chopping down my expectations to prevent a case of disappointment. And disappointed I was not!

Great pacing, they balanced the campyness marvelously, visually and sound wise I was blissfully pleased! There were so many quotable scenes packed in that it was hard to recall any specific ones afterwards, because they were all fighting for attention, lol. And man, the cast was so hawt!! They were really cast well ^_^

Definitely gotta see it again, soon! Preferably with my younger sister :p Can't wait to see Up with her now!!! :D
