So while I've been gone i would continuously watch Asian dramas and i don't see much advertisement of them here on TheO. If you are looking for great anime but can't seem to find one, I would suggest finding some great Asian dramas. There are plenty of great stories that are interesting just like anime is and have complicated story lines that keep you hooked till the end. If this is new to you just look for some dramas that are what you like in anime I.e - if you like romance 
turn to
"Boys over Flower" <--- the drama (just like the manga) or "You're Beautiful" if you like heart wrenching stories that make you cry waterfalls 
like me go to historical dramas or melodramas like "The Revenge of the Gumiho", and "I Miss You". (mind you these are all Korean dramas which i am a bias right now for them but there are plenty of Japanese, dramas from Hong Kong etc. out there.)
There is plenty of dramas that interest any aspect you like in an anime series, except that its real life, and unlike American dramas (sorry America) the actors perform realistically, causing you to join in their joy and sadness.
Anyways after all that and you think that Asian dramas are not for you then fair enough but if you've never seen one i suggest you do because it was the best decision of my life!!!.

The Otaku
I have been gone for such a long time and finally I'm back again. Hopefully this time I am here to stay. I am currently enrolled in an art college so i am pretty excited but it is mostly non anime ideas/designs for now i still go back to the fond memories of TheOtaku as I draw for the pleasure of drawing, I hope i do not fail any of you that have come to enjoy my drawings, and i also thank you for being there along for the ride.
