“Really just quit worrying. TRUST me, you’re gonna be just fine,” Megumi said, happy but also slightly annoyed.

“I’m sorry for upsetting you,” Jack said.

“Nah, I’m sorry for having that tone. But go out there and do your best. I promise you, you’re gonna be okay,” Megumi said.

He looked directly at her eyes, which were beautiful blue eyes with confidence and compassion, “I believe you. I’m going to go out there and make her proud!”
“That’s right bro!” Megumi smiled.

“And I’m going to drink all night!” Jack joked.

“Bro!” Megumi laughed and pushed him gently, “You dork.”

All of a sudden, she saw a hand reach for the jewelry. Megumi stopped the reach, grabbed the person and was about to restrain the individual.
“Hey wait!” the person said.

“Eh?” Megumi asked.

“Sorry about that,” the individual, a girl said.

“Nikki? What are you doing here?” Megumi said; she was talking to Nikki Thomas, a young soldier who was a former gangster.

“Not much. How you doin’ Megumi ? And I was just here to mess around. I thought you and Jack were chill,” Nikki said.

“We are, but we don’t want you stealin’ Jessenia’s jewelry,” Jack looked at her.

“No worries brotha, I was just playin’. Apparently ya sis is too tough. I wish you the best though. Stay cool and keep it real. Don’t trip ‘bout it. She’s just right outside the building so I suggest you stay calm and show your heart,” Nikki said.

“Whoa, thanks,” Jack said and smiled, “You and Megumi have given me the best advice all day.

“Couldn’t have said it better myself,” Megumi said.

“Haha, well I gotta go. Later guys!” Nikki said and left.

Jessenia came closer and Megumi looked at Jack, “I gotta go too. See you later and good luck, handsome bro.”

Jack looked shocked as everyone was gone. It was just him and Jessenia now. She put her keys into the door and tried to open them.
“C’mon…darn it I was using my freaking car key to try to open the door!” Jessenia said.

After a while, she tried another one, “Darn it, it doesn’t work.”
Trying another, she finally used the right one, “Okay this is working.”
Behind the door, Jack’s arm began to shake a bit. However, he thought about Megumi and controlled it.

Jessenia opened the door and walked in. She looked around at first and then saw something that shocked her. The girl’s eyes turned to the center of the room.

“Oh sweetheart…oh my….” Jessenia said and looked at Jack.

“Hey love,” Jack said and smiled at her.

“You’re looking great…and oh my goodness…flowers! Candlelights! Aw man Jack…you’re really going all out,” Jessenia said.

“Anything for you, dear,” Jack said.

“Awwwwwww Jack, I love you so much!” Jessenia said and hugged him.
“I love you too sweetie,” he hugged her, “But this isn’t the only thing.”
He led her closer to the center of the room. There, he had a box and bag. She looked at them and wondered what they were.
