Not feeling very creative atm.

The above date was the time period of my life where I was dating my beloved girlfriend Ashley. I understand that none of us really know each other on this website, but I am going to post an update on my life,
Approximately three weeks ago, my girlfriend, my bosses daughter, and her boyfriend went to Vans Warped Tour down here in Florida. It was my first concert ever, and quite a day.
Well, on the way home, I was driving on the highway, and I hit a semi that was parked with his trailer part of the way on the road. I didn't see it because it was night, and pouring rain. The accident was not my fault. I totaled the car, and my girlfriend was killed. I fractured my neck and lost memory of the actual crash. And the other two made it without any injuries.

My life has been changed forever, and I will never be the same Zack you used to know. Life is absolutely crazy, and I am missing my Ashley terribly. I still can't believe it happened, and so much has been going on since the accident.
I have no idea where to go next or what to do with my life because I feel lost. I am still keeping my dreams, and I know that I must be extra successful in life for Ashley and myself since she never had the chance to. She died at the age of eighteen, and there was so much I had promised her in life.
Things are very hard for me now, and my whole life just crashed down around me.
I lost my job, ability to drive because of my fractured neck, school is going to be tough since I can't actually go, and my girlfriend. It hurts more than any physical pain, that night, seeing her lifeless in the passenger seat next to me.

I can't take this pain alone, it's just too much.
So thanks for listening, I know I've been around here for at least five years, and some of you have put up with me for this long.

I'm back

I thought I was losing my affinity for anime. But no. For some reason, I am watching Paranoia Agent. I want to see Paprika really bad.

And in case you were wondering, I am writing a new story.
It's a film noir style conspiracy, set back in the days of WWII.
I am pretty excited about starting the project. And I hope I don't
on this one. I just need your support. Or I won't have the motivation.

american graphic novel

soooo, I decided that it would be super awesome if I got into american graphic novel art. I've already contacted a pro artist who did the amazing illustration for The Secret of the Authority: Hawksmoor. It is a branch of the Jenny Sparks The secret of the Authority series from Wildstorm Comics, which is a branch of DC Comics. She asked to see my work, soooooo, I'm currently in limbo right now, wondering what her reaction will be.
I hope I can somehow co-op a project with DC in the near future. And until then, I'm doing rigorous american comic fan art until I develop a style that is closer to this form of media. Because currently, my style tends to lean towards manga, and I'm just not seeing a manga contract in my future at the moment.

I got a few edited sketches up in my portfolio. I'm thinking that I will just do a series of figure drawings or sketches, and edit them on photoshop. That will work out pretty well, it may not be the greatest artwork in the world, because that is not what I am going for. However, it will keep me on track with my drawing career and hopefully give me good practice along the way.

In other news, I have been doing quite a few requests. If anyone has any, I am more than happy to take them. Especially since they give me a deadline to get something done, and I will work harder to meet those if you ask me to draw you something. Just remember, everyone has their own style. That is what it is all about.

I am finally getting my ass up and doing my artwork again. I draw and doodle in class all the time, but I think it's about time to produce some work. Now I am not going for anything majorly impressive, I will leave that to the rest of you. However, I would like to post some works that show technique in it's bare form, unlike the previous submissions I have provided in the past...

I would like to personally thank someone who has been on my friends list for years, even though we never talk, I admire her dedication to the manga style of artwork to no end. Yeah, I'm talking about Cherryshock. She has grown to be quite an admiral artist over the years, and her improvement is an inspiration to me. So yeah,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
