It's okay! Don't worry about it! I was late getting back to you too. ^^; As they say, "Better late than never!" Or so I've been told.
I feel your pain, dude. I would have cysts in the most horrible of places, not just on my face. I can't help but liking fast food- but I don't eat it as much as most people do. I usually only eat it like maybe once a week or so- and that's usually on like Fridays because my parents would only let us eat out on the weekends. Of course, now they're more lax and we eat more junk than not. But we're working our way back onto eating better. But I have noticed that not eating fast food makes me feel better anyway (I have a pretty weak stomach- at least when it comes to food.) Still, If you ate it every day (unless you were joking) does that mean it was good? I mean, I don't really know much about Wendy's food.
I definitely don't have skin made out of steel, but I did use proactive and it didn't really hurt my skin too much- though it is strong. Ironically, my friend also tried that, and she has way thicker skin than I do and proactive made her skin all red and irritated. What's weird is, we have the same skin type too.
And I understand the small town little options, I live in a slightly big town- we just got an Ulta a couple years ago- but then again, I kind of live in a pseudo-rich people kind of area. (Not that my family has any money. XD) Anyway, my boyfriend lives out in the boonies and when I was visiting him I ran out of facial cleanser and we had to go to walmart to get me a brand new bottle that I wasn't going to use all of because I was only there for a week, and they didn't offer travel sized products for some reason.
As for tea, I have totally tried it. Except I'm the kind of person who likes really fruity drinks. I've tried drinking green tea before, but it just didn't taste good to me. (Ironically, I love green tea pocky.) I thought about putting some sugar into it- so I could stave off the bitterness, but I was worried it would reverse the affects of the natural antioxidants and such. And I'm not going to buy that bottled green tea- because I know it has other gross stuff added in. (Darn you, commercialized products!) Besides, if it helps your metabolism, I think adding sugars would just add to the fat. But I've seen the detox water and never known why people did that. (I always thought it was for flavoring.)
Personally, I've never been on the thin side, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Having body fat isn't bad, but being overweight is. I'm short (if 5'3" is short), so I have to keep my weight down to a certain point to be at a normal BMI. I'm not saying I should be super skinny- and I really need to work on my eating habits now that I'm nineteen (because I literally just turned 19 today) and my metabolism has slowed down- but I need to be healthy at least. I don't really want to diet, because I'm not the kind of person who sticks well to commitments. But I actually can eat a whole pizza- albeit a whole small size anyway. I do exercise continuously every day- except on holidays, but when I was a senior, I was going through a pretty bad depression phase (I think I have depression or something like it, but I do my best to keep it under control) and so I would just kind of go home after getting out of class early, eat some food and fall asleep. And then I would never sleep at night because I was catching up on sleep from not sleeping the night before when I would come home from school. If that makes sense. I was also very stressed- which I think lead to being depressed, so that probably added onto the unhealthy habits. I'm not as depressed as I was back then- I do have my moments, but I'm getting back into the hang of things now, so my desire to lose weight and eat better are back. I want to fit into my costumes again, because I really enjoy it, and I think my boyfriend wants to take pictures of my costumes too. I'm actually glad he does, I've always wanted a professional looking shot of my costumes. My best friend used to take pictures, but she stopped liking photography, so I didn't have any really good pictures. Oops, I got off topic... My bad. XD I have a lot of hair myself, but the idea of even cutting it freaks me out. But that was a good idea to keep yourself going- I mean, to some people hair can be a huge burden. (Sometimes I hate it, but I'd rather have long hair than not- as I've always had long hair.) But sometimes I do get rather discouraged when it comes to this stuff, but I guess I shouldn't really give up. I'll do my best. Thanks for your advice! :)
As for my holiday season, I did have a lot of fun. My boyfriend actually came to surprise me for new years after I went to visit him for Christmas. Needless to say I was extremely happy to see him at the time, since I was pretty down around Christmastime this year. (Which is weird.)
I like long comments too, but I don't really post anything on here that I can get long comments. I actually tried posting something, but apparently my filesize was too big, so I'll have to fix that. I'm always happy to talk to people, because I never talk to anyone, so when people talk to me, I'm like- "O_O YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME? OKAY!!!! :DDDDD" So it's been really fun to receive your replies. You're a fun person to talk to. :) (I really hope I don't sound weird.) I hope we can continue talking- about many things. I wish the RP was more active, not that I'm complaining, but it would be nice to talk to everyone again. I do get online, but I get embarrassed easily when I talk to others- I feel like I'm saying something stupid or weird. And then when I do get calmed down, I feel like I'm kind of annoying or whatever. Plus I talk about myself and I tend to say the same things over and over again. (Usually because I've forgotten that I've already said them.) It's nice to have new friends though. Even if I can't get up the nerve to send them a PM every now and again.. Oh well. Sorry for making that longer than it should have been... Now I feel a little embarrassed. Heh heh... ^^;
OH MY GOSH I AM SO SORRY;;;;
I don't know why but I totally though I replied to this BUT NOPE ALMOST A MONTH LATE.
Yeah I use to have 3 or 4 cysts at a time on my face, usually around the forehead or nose. BUT that was when I was on a highschooler diet of Wendy's bacon burgers for lunch everyday. There was a significant change in my skin when I started cutting fast food out of my diet. :) Oh yeah Garnier does make quite a few skin care products, but definitely not as much as Neutrogena or Olay. Yeah idk. Some people don't have reactions to it though. Like idk how people use products like Proactive because that stuff is STRONG. But some people have skin of steel. Haha I watch a ton of skin care tutorials online and do a bunch of research. There's a lot of different gel moisturizers, but they're definitely not as common as cream moisturizers. I'm sure in big makeup/beauty stores like Ulta, they'll have more options, but in my little town, the only gel moisturizer they had at walmart was Garnier's. Yup! Something like that. Exfoliating helps with getting excess dead skin off so it's easier to use pore strips. It helps keeping your face smooth. You should definitely not do it more than once a week though, or else it'll dry out your skin. Oh yes I love pore strips! :D they're amazing, and they work best after a warm shower and exfoliation so you have a better chance of getting blackheads out. I usually leave it on until it gets really hard (it'll make more sense once you use one probably) because I feel like it's more effective and it's easier to see the aftermath. XD Have you tried drinking tea? I've gotten myself accustomed to drinking plain green tea, and it's a nice alternative to water if you need some flavoring :) I know some people also make detox water mixes where they just cut up different fruits and stick them in a pitcher of water and drink from that, so you might consider that as well. :) I like green tea because it also helps with your metabolism. I gained like 20 pounds over the course of sophomore through senior year, but this year I was able to lose 10 pounds. :) I don't exercise at all lol but just making sure I didn't over eat and didn't eat late at night really made a difference. And once you make changes to your dieting and food portions, it'll start becoming more natural to you. I use to be able to eat like 2 whole pizzas, but now I get full after 3 slices (granted that's probably still a lot lol) But it's always nice to set a goal for yourself. For example, I had an ungodly amount of hair, but I told myself I wouldn't cut it until I lost 10 pounds. That helped drive me for the 3 months i dieted. You might get discouraged because you may experience ups and downs throughout the week, but I lost about a pound each week and half a pound a week towards the end. Sometimes simple changes to your diet is all you need. :)
I hope you had a wonderful holiday season~~ Haha idk about the highest scores, but I did get A's. :) Thank you! :) lol that's okay!! I love long comments ;) and don't worry me too. xD
Oh man, I also get it pretty bad on my cheeks and forehead. And on the rare occasion but usually before my boyfriend comes around- on my lip. When I was younger, I used to have big ones, but now that I'm an adult, I seem to get cysts quite frequently. I use cetaphil's oil free foam cleanser right now- but I didn't know that Garnier made skin products- I just thought they mostly focused on hair care. What is the deal with fragrances and skin irritation? If it's going to irritate people's skin, why do they even put it in there to begin with? The more the product gives someone issues, the less likely they are going to buy it. That's just common sense. But I guess everyone is different, so maybe the fragrances don't affect others in the same way. Still, I've heard they're pretty irritating. Ugh. :P Well, I'm sure if gel moisturizers are popular, Simple will jump on the bandwagon eventually. To be honest I've never actually heard of a gel moisturizer before you mentioned it- but I don't get out much, which is actually a bad thing. OTL (I get lost easily in conversations with people because of it. ^^;) I think I tried exfoliating once, but then I didn't like the way it felt, so I stopped. Doesn't exfoliating make your skin worse at first because it's removing all of the excess dead skin that's built up underneath? (I've heard about it, but I don't know that much.) I've never used a pore strip before, actually, but I might try it- I hear it's slightly satisfying to use one. (I have no idea why.) I once used one of those peeling masks and that made my face feel extremely smooth... It felt amazing. :D
Hormones suck, so much. Like the stuff they put in food. Oh man, the food tastes so good- sorry that's a totally different topic. XD
I've heard about the hair and oil, but to be honest, I'd much rather be clean than have to smell for months. I've smelled my hair after I exercise, and it's terrible. Dirty hair is the worst. My hair is so bad when it's greasy, people think I just took a bath. (Which is horribly embarrassing.) I might try moisturizing. To be honest, my skin is probably even more oily than it should be genetically speaking because I don't drink enough water. But for some reason it just doesn't taste good to me- unlike sports drinks. OTL My weakness lies in things with flavor. It would be one thing if it didn't have sugar or sodium in it, but since it does, it doesn't help. Which is probably why I can't lose that weight I gained my senior year because I was horribly stressed... Sorry about that, that's a sort of sore point for me. I can't fit into my cosplays anymore, which is something I really enjoyed. I think my stress and diet last year also factored into my skin condition as well- hence the cysts. (They became a huge factor during my last year of high school.) It seems it's one thing or another. OTL
Thank you! I'm so happy I passed. I was really worried I would screw up my first semester. College is a different ballgame than high school is, and I wasn't prepared for it one bit. I kind of just expected life to be the same as it did for the past eighteen years. But I mean, things change and I should try and be more accommodating. Oh well... I'm just waiting to get back to college now though, because I've got absolutely nothing to do this break until Christmas. Literally, my break has consisted of waiting for people to talk to me. (To see if they want to talk or hang out or something.) But I digress, I'm glad that your finals went well! I bet you scored the highest in your art class/es... Maybe? I'm not really sure about what you're doing in college- but I assume you're taking an art class knowing you, anyway. :D
AND... So sorry for the long comment. I get talkative really easily. OTL

No problem! Yup cysts is the right word. I don't have cystic acne though, which is really intense acne usually on the cheeks and forehead. My acne is usually pretty okay, but I would just get random cysts every now and then. Cetaphil did a good job with treating my skin irritation, but as for really helping my acne, it doesn't much for me. I decided to switch to a Garnier oil free foam cleanser and my skin is so much better. I just have to be careful to not use it too much or else my skin gets irritated again since it has a fragrance. I've used simple for the longest time and it's helped my skin, so I hope it helps your skin too! :) Yeah I've heard that too, which is why I switched form Simple to Garnier for a little bit. If Simple develops a gel moisturizer, I would switch back xD Yeah I don't usually exfoliate, but I do when my blackheads start getting bad, like around my nose and forehead, and then afterwards I use pore strips and my face feels a lot smoother. :) Oh yeah I've heard that too! I don't need medication, but I know a lot of my friends have problem with hormones and such. Don't worry I don't get it much either XD Yes you are correct! Skin is still dehydrated even if it's oily, that's my problem. So even when I have super oily skin, sometimes my skin will still peel because it's dry. It's really strange, but you can help it with gel/water based/oil-free moisturizers. :) You skin is basically overproducing oils, which is caused by using oily moisturizers. The long term fix is to go without moisturizing or washing for like, three months or something so that your body can naturally learn to stop overproducing oils. The same goes for hair. So some people will go months only washing with water, but it allows their body to readjust. Personally though, I can't go that long without bathing, so it's not an option for me. XD
I'm so glad that your finals went well!! Congrats on your good grades! :) Mine went well too~~ hehe and that's fine I love any comment~~~
That's good, I'm glad it doesn't hurt anymore. :) I actually don't like lotion/hand creams very much because they feel... Weird. So it's okay- we both don't know about stuff for your hands. XD As for your advice, thank you so much. I also used to have large pimples too- I believe the correct term is cysts? I also use Cetaphil to wash my face, and burts' bees facial wipes. Those don't irritate me as much. I tried using the other kinds of "natural" cleansers, but they irritated me greatly. OTL But I've heard Simple is fairly good, so perhaps I'll look into that as well. Apparently you must change up your routine in order to make sure your skin doesn't get accustomed to it. I do not do any exfoliating, only because I feel like I have any need to. Not to mention my skin has been much clearer lately- I was put on some medication in order to lower my testosterone levels- because my doctor said I had quite a bit- and it has helped my skin immensely. Since testosterone has to do with your skin, and in women it causes pimples. Or so I've heard, I don't know much about hormones.... But I was not aware you could use moisturizers on oily skin. (I always assumed that since I had a lot of oil, that I didn't need it.... Though I've heard that oily skin is actually very dry skin, and it produces oil in order to make up for being so dry... Or something like that.)
(Finals went well! I actually finished all of my finals last week and I'm enjoying a slightly lonely vacation, since I have nothing to do. But other than that, I'm happy about the grades I received for my classes... Mostly high Bs, but I did get an A in my art appreciation course. It seems like a good job for my first semester. I hope your finals are going well, or went well. :D (As I do not know your schedule for finals.) (Sorry for the late comment! DX)
It stings a little, but with the right lotion it's healing pretty quick and it doesn't hurt any more. :) Yo yo YO idk if there's any specific hand cream or anything, but I got you on any kind of face skin care advice. You should look for moisturizers that are water based/gel moisturizers. My face is super super oily, but gel moisturizers really help. Also, if you have really sensitive skin, make sure you go for fragrance free products like Cetaphil or Simple. I use to have awful, huge pimples and it got really bad when I was visiting London because of pollution and such. But I found the Simple moisturizer, wash, and toner and my skin has basically been clear ever since. Then, over the summer I had an awful skin irritation. Unfortunately Simple didn't work well on it, but a day after using Cetaphil, my irritation was basically gone. Also, if you do any kind of exfoliating, make sure you only do that once a week since it can really dry out your skin even if you put moisturizer. That's all my face skin care stuff but it may help on wherever you're having that problem too! :) (hehe that's okay! I hope your finals are going well!!!!)
OAO That looks more painful than gross. I don't have dry skin, but rather oily skin, but I have to be careful which skin products I use, or my skin will become irritated and really dry. I hear moisturizing is good though, maybe that would stop my hands from peeling during the winter though..... I hope it has gotten better or is better soon. (I jumped on the comment train late as usual... Finals.... Death.... Social life.... *grumbles*)
Tell me about it! And I have a bad habit of finding a reason to wash my hands not long after putting on lotion, so I end up washing it off and forgetting to put more on. XD It's already getting better! Thank you! ;)
lol I know right? XD Hmm I think rashy describes it better. It gets itchy too, which doesn't help the problem xD But don't worry! I just super moisturized overnight and it's already looking and feeling a lot better :)
