Chapter 3: Day 3
The next day…
.(P.S.: Ace slept as a ball of blue flame, suspended in air. Why you ask? Rina slept on his bed in their room. He still hasn’t expanded the house yet.)Ace woke up at 5:30 AM. He went to the kitchen, supposedly to cook breakfast. He saw Blaze and Phoenix outside, training swordsmanship. Ace went outside to see them. “So, you two are up early, huh?” Ace asked them. “Oh yeah, we need to be training.” Blaze then said. Ace returned inside and he started cooking in the kitchen. A few minutes later, May wakes up. She goes downstairs and watches TV. Outside, while Blaze and Phoenix were training, Blaze attempted to use a fire spell, and it backfired at him. He was sent flying to the fence. “T-t-that didn’t turn out well.” Blaze agonizingly said. He stood up again, recovering from the fall. He charged at Phoenix with only one hand holding the sword. “Divine powers, assist me, Holy Aegis!” Phoenix chanted. A surge of power then surrounded Phoenix. “Flares of the sun, beams of moonlight, Breaking point!” Blaze chanted with one hand holding the sword and one hand on the blade. He charged towards Phoenix and he jumped to the air, as he jumped, he struck a powerful slash at Phoenix, although the aegis stopped it. When he landed, he attacked Phoenix with a strong, thrusting attack. The aegis was stopping it. He pushed the sword and surges of lightning and fire shot out of the middle. Blaze used his energy and he empowered the sword more. He drove the sword in a final blast. The aegis broke and Phoenix was sent flying, severely wounded. When the sword’s energy wore off, the sword broke in two. “Whoa, I can’t believe that too much of that will destroy any weapon I use.” Blaze said to himself. When Blaze went to help Phoenix, the sword exploded. Rina woke up because of the noisy blast. Ken then entered the house. “Hey, Ace! What are you doing there?” Ken yelled. “Wait there. I’ll be there in a moment.” Ace replied. Ken then went in front of the stairs. As Rina woke up, she hurriedly ran to the stairs. Because of this, she tripped. She fell off the stairs and luckily, she fell on Ken (Geez, Ken is such an Idiot. I mean, who of the right mind will wait on the bottom of the stairs, knowing that an accident may occur. However, Rina is lucky.) Ace then went to Ken’s area. He saw Rina on top of Ken. “Whoa, this is something that you don’t see everyday.” Ace said. Rina stood up. “A-a-Ace! T-t-this is not what you think it is! I swear, there was nothing h-happening there!” Rina nervously said. Ken then stood up and said, “Y-yes, that’s true, there was nothing happening! We can explain!” “Is that so?” Ace doubtfully said. “Yes! It is!” Rina and Ken all together said “Oh really? I can read both of your minds.” Ace said. As he looked at the two, both of them were looking down to the ground, blushing. Ace then started laughing. “What’s so funny?” Rina asked. “Ace stopped laughing and said, “Of course, I knew that nothing happened, Ken could pull off something like this!” Then, he continued laughing. “Great, he got us. But, Ace is a lot harder to decipher than I thought.” Ken said. “Come on, wake up the others and let’s have breakfast.” Ace requested.
After breakfast…
They were all packing things that they would need to assist Lucifer. Blaze suddenly approached Ace. “Uh, Ace, Do you have another spare sword? I accidentally broke the one you gave me.” Blaze asked. “Finally! It’s a good thing you asked. While Ken was healing Phoenix, I was busy making the Twilight Blade, powered with the remnants of the twilight flame and the twilight ruby. This thing is indestructible.” Ace explained, boastfully. “Is it gonna break when I use the breaking point spell?” Blaze asked. “No, Even if you use the apocalypse blade strike with this, It won’t even get a scratch.” Ace boasted.
“Really? Thanks.” Blaze said. “Ken, bring all of your guns, you still don’t have the Dawnforge staff. Without it, you’ll be killed in minutes.” Ace suggested. “Okay, I will. Should I bring large cannons and stuff?” Ken inquired. “You should.” Ace responded. Tracey then transformed into a large jet. Ken armed all of the cannons on Tracey to provide support fire for the group. They then warped towards dimension 12 branch 17, the dimension of desert battlefields.
Warping… The Group is scattered on land to look for Lucifer and His team then Ken and Tracey fly around the battlefield, providing support fire.
As they look around, fighting demons, they find a bunker near a wall of barbed wires. The group move towards the bunker and attempt to enter it. “Anyone home?” Ace without being serious shouted out. Then, a rustle was heard from near the window. “Who’s there?” The voice bitterly asked. “Lucifer, It’s us, we’ve come to help you and your team.” Ace actively said. “My team… was… captured… and then, executed a few days ago…” Lucifer sadly uttered. “We need to get out of here and…” “No, I’ll stay here.” “You need to get out of here alive, Lucifer.” Ace forcefully replied. “I’ll stay here and die.” Lucifer insisted. Rina then approached Lucifer and gave him a hard slap on the left cheek. “Look at yourself! Can’t you see that your team went through captivity from you enemies, and even execution just to protect YOUR LIFE. Now, you’re just going to throw it away! How could you! It’s just like throwing away the effort they had!” She angrily bellowed. Tears then went down from Lucifer. He fell to his knees and said, “Rina, you’re right, but, I cannot continue with this anymore. I’ve lost all of my friends.” “Stop worrying and just come with us, you still have family and their allies.” Rina said, smiling. “Okay, enough of that melodrama and let’s get out here before more demons arrive.” Blaze suggested. “Yes we should. Rina, establish a teleportation circle here, I’ll go out and get my clones to protect you. I will go to Ken and Tracey to establish the other side of the portal.” Ace carefully instructed. And he went out of the bunker and started establishing clones, walls, and traps. After doing so, He flew away to look for Ken and Tracey. After three minutes of flying, he spots Tracey. He went beside Tracey and he knocked at the door. “Hey, Tracey, Open up!” Ace shouts out. The jet door opens up and allows Ace to enter. “What happened?” Ken asked Ace. “Rina is currently making a portal spell at the bunker and I will establish the other end of the portal. My clones are currently defending the bunker.” Ace speedily replied. Ace then hurriedly established the spell. Rina is done establishing the spell. They waited for Ace to establish connection. “Ace, the demons have sent a large demolition unit to destroy the walls you made. Their arrival is imminent.” Ken said. “Well, Tracey, pass over the bunker so the connection is established.” Ace instructed. Tracey then swooped over the bunker area and teleported the whole group, including Ace’s clones, into Tracey, They then teleported back to the Home dimension…
An hour later… Currently 3:00 PM at the mansion in Cometflare city…
When they landed, Ace hurriedly went on top of the mansion and he expanded it, giving it more rooms and space. Now, everyone has their own rooms, and there are ten guest rooms as well.
“Wow, I don’t know that you can do that.” May shouted. “Well, now you know that I can!” Ace laughingly replied. The mission was then over. Now the rescue mission was over, but they came too late. No matter, they still have a journey in front of them.
Chapter 3:Day 2
The next day…
Ace woke up early. [About 6:30 AM, I think.] He woke up with May holding his hand. “Weird.” He said. He woke May up and they went to Phoenix and Jake’s Room. When they came there, the two were playing chess. Then, the four went to Blaze and Katie’s room. When the entered the room, they saw that the two beds are together. “Whoa. This can’t be good.” May said to herself. “I agree.” Ace said, holding in his laughter. Ace then approached the bed. He saw the two, then, he fainted. When the other three moved towards the bed, they saw Blaze and Katie, kissing each other while asleep. “So that’s why Ace fainted.” Jake laughingly said. Each one of the three took out their cell phones and took pictures of the event. They left the room, dragging Ace. “Man, Ace sure is weak seeing those two.” Phoenix said. “Yeah. That’s true.” Jake replied. “Maybe that’s something that he really shouldn’t see.” May suggested. “Probably. But, he’s a few years older than us. He only retains a 15 year-old body.” Phoenix responded. “Wow, a few years? Weird.” Jake said to himself. When Ace woke up, he went straight to the kitchen to cook breakfast. The other two went down after ten minutes.
After breakfast…
As Ace was preparing items, the weapons and the desert buggy, the doorbell ringed. Phoenix went to answer the door. When he opened the door, he was surprised that it was Sarah. [P.S. Sarah was forced to move to Cometflare because of the war in Icestone city] Ace then returned to the kitchen and made beverages for everyone, but Sarah’s beverage is special, it has activated water from the lake of memories. When she drank it, she remembered everything. But she still wasn’t aware of the lake de-activations and the other recent stuff.
After 1 hour…
They explained everything to Sarah and she has understood. She said that she would follow the journeys until the final lake has been deactivated. [Phoenix was jumping happy because of this.] They picked their weapons and went on the buggy. “I sensed a lake around the vicinity of the Icestone desert.” Ace said while driving. The buggy suddenly stopped. A ball of cold light suddenly approached the buggy. “Cousin, Is that you?” It spoke. “Yes, it’s me. What are you doing here, freezer head?” Ace said, laughing. “As usual Ace, you’re still a medium knuckle head.” It said. “Ace, what is it?” May asked. “That is my cousin Lucifer.” Ace replied. The ball of light then turned into an angel. “My name is Lucifer and I come from another dimension that resembles heaven. I’m here to ask help from you and your friends because my team is held up in a barren desert-like dimension. They sent me here to get help.” Lucifer explained. “Well, we’ll be happy to assist your team. But, can your team survive a day or two? I’m going to get some serious help before we assist you.” Ace asked. “Yes, we can. I’m going back to assist them so I can buy you some time. Goodbye cousin.” Lucifer said as he disappeared. “Serious help? Where can you get serious help? The group is almost complete, but where else can you get help?” Jake asked in doubt. “I’m going to travel to the Mirror Dimension. I’m going to get help from one of the most powerful mages in that area.” Ace seriously explained. “I might leave after a few minutes. But, everyone should train while you can. Blaze, I left a sword on your bed, train with Phoenix and put the crossbow inside my laboratory. I can make a better weapon out of it.” Ace said as he drove with the others back to town.
40 minutes later… 10:00 AM
Ace is preparing outside with Tracey. Ken suddenly arrived and offered to go as well. “Well, I can always use another companion along, sure.” Ace said, smiling. “Where are we going anyways?” Ken enthusiastically asked. “We’re going to look for my counterpart in the other dimension.” Ace briefly explained. “Ace, We’re ready to go.” Tracey spoke. “Okay then, let’s move out.” Ace seriously said. The portal opened and all three of them entered it.
After 2 hours…
The other end of the portal opened at the rocky outskirts of Magestar isle in the mirror dimension. They all landed on rocks. “Ouch! Ugh… That was a rocky landing…” Ken said in pain. “Well, We might as well start looking for her, Tracey, where is she located?” Ace inquired. “She never has a stable hang-out area in the Magestar Isle, but, the only thing I know is that she might be studying magic or could be resting some place.” Tracey said. “Well, do you have a sample of her DNA? It always makes good tracking points if she has a DNA sample.” Ken suggested. “Umm, Ken She is a 15000 year-old mage like me and has absolutely NO available DNA.” Ace responded, emphasizing ‘NO’ and ‘DNA’. “Yes, what Ace said is true, but, on the other hand, she has a slightly ‘eerie’ and ‘powerfully visible’ aura, different from the other mages.” Tracey recommended. “Yes, unlike Ace! Ace has a concealed and untraceable aura which can be like that of others!” Ken found it out, surprisedly. “You’re right. Alright, Tracey, please start tracking the aura.” Ace told Tracey. “I can’t. Aura from all the other mages are radiating so powerfully. She’s impossible to track!” Tracey hopelessly exclaimed. “Well, before we scour the city, let’s have lunch first.” Ace suggested. They all went to the inn at the city to have lunch. “Wow, the food here is delicious. Ace, how did you know that this inn also has a restaurant in it?” Ken asked. “It’s unlike the one at my homeland.” Ace replied. Ace looked outside and saw a beautiful girl at the library. Ken looked at Ace. “Ooh, I think someone is love struck.” He said. “I’m n-n-not!” Ace denied. “No, Ace found Rina.” Tracey said. “No wonder, she’s Ace’s counterpart.” Ken said. “Good enough that the library has glass windows, which are helpful in finding her.” Ken suggested. “Nah, it’s pure coincidence.” Ace said, still looking at her. Tracey approached Ken. “Well, now I know that he’s really love struck.” Tracey whispered. “Well, if that’s one thing we should know is how it happened.” Ken replied. They looked at Ace and he was no longer there. He just left the money for the pay and a floating rune saying, “Here’s the pay, and I’m going to go after her.” “Well, if there’s one thing that I should say is that he’s quick.” Ken said, laughing.
Meanwhile…
While Ace is going after Rina, he decided to follow her for a few minutes before approaching her. As he was following her, she went to multiple bookstores. Ace then approached her in a bookstore. “Hi, umm, may I ask you. Are you Rina?” He asked. “Yes, I am.” She happily replied. “Oh good, Well… I’m Ace Magestar from the 72nd Dimension. I come here to ask for your help. You see...” He said, stuttering. “Wait, Ace? Are you familiar with Tracey?” She asked. “Yes, actually, he’s my companion.” He responded. “Oh! So you’re the Ace he was talking about! You’re my counterpart!” She surprisedly said. “Yes, I am your counterpart, And I have, well, you well enough know what I’m going to say.” He said, blushing. “come, let’s talk at my house.” She suggested. Ace then followed her to her house. Ace noticed the bookshelf near the door. They both sat down in the living room. “So, you were saying that you needed help, is that right?” Rina asked Ace. “Yes, I did. But, why did we come all the way here to your house?” Ace responded. “Well, coming here seems to be fun and, why not, I’m always up for a challenge, and you sound like one.” She answered. “Oh really? That’s great!” Ace happily said. Ace went in front of the door, looking at the books. Rina accompanied him and she is standing right beside him. Ace found a book and he faced Rina. Tracey and Ken opened the door, pushing Ace towards Rina, and he accidentally kisses her. They both stood up. “Uh, Ken, I think we opened the door at the wrong time.” Tracey said. “Yeah, right.” Ken responded. “Rina! I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to do it.” Ace apologized. “No, no, It’s fine. It was just an accident.” Rina replied. Rina suddenly fainted, but luckily, Ace caught her just in time. “That was close.” Ace said to himself. “Wow, I think Ace liked it.” Ken told Tracey. Ace then brought Rina to her bedroom and laid her on the bed. Ace then looked after her.
1 hour later…
Rina woke up from fainting. When she looked around, she asked herself why she was in her bedroom. Then, she saw Ace, who fell asleep on the table. “Wow, he was looking after me, how sweet.” She thought. Tracey and Ken entered the bedroom. “Hey Rina, are you okay?” Tracey asked. “Oh, hi Tracey. I’m alright now.” Rina happily responded. “That’s good.” Ken said. “And… Why is Ace asleep?” Rina asked them. “For all I know, Ace was watching over you for the whole hour, every fifteen minutes, he checks your temperature, heart rate and blood pressure using magic. I guess he got so tired, he fell asleep.” Tracey explained. “I see.” She said. Ace suddenly woke up. He checked his watch, and he looked at Rina. “Oh, you’re finally awake.” Ace told Rina. “We’ll just leave you two here…” Ken said as he and Tracey exited the room. “Yes, I am. Tracey told me what you did. Thank you.” Rina thanked Ace with a smile. “You’re welcome. But, are you feeling okay?” Ace asked her. “Yes, I’m fine.” She replied. “Thank god.” Ace thought. Rina stood up and she approached a locker. She opened it and started taking some clothes. “I’m going to take a shower.” She told Ace. Rina then entered the bathroom.
A few minutes later, after Rina took a shower, She went outside with a bag filled with clothes. She saw Tracey and the others preparing to leave. Tracey transformed into a jet. Everyone was looking at him. “What? I felt like being a jet today.” Tracey said. “Well, let’s go.” Ace said as he entered the jet. When everyone was aboard the jet, It levitated and suddenly flew into the open portal. As they were passing through dimensions, Rina fell asleep on Ace’s shoulder. Ace suddenly turned red. “Ace, you like it, don’t you?” Ken asked him. “S-s-she just f-fell asleep… That’s all…” Ace replied.
2 hours later… 5:45 PM…
The portal opened in the backyard of the mansion and the jet landed. Everyone was there and waiting. Rina was still asleep, so Ace was forced to carry her on his back. When he exited the jet May saw Ace carrying Rina. Speechless, a teardrop came down May’s eye and she ran away, hoping not to see this. Ace noticed her run away. He Laid Rina on the sofa and he woke her up. Right after that, he started to look for May.
Ace started looking for May within the city, then the house, he didn’t find her. He then went to the mountain that has a cliff that overlooks the city, and they called it “Truth peak.” He found May, crying on the bench, which is illuminated by the moon.
“May, Why did you run? What’s wrong?” Ace asked her. She looked at him with teary eyes; he stood still. “What is your relation with her?” She asked. “Nothing.” “There is, I know it.” “She is only my counterpart, that’s all.” Ace answered. “Are you sure?” May said, utterly doubtful of Ace’s statement. “Yes, she is only my counterpart from another dimension. Nothing else.” Ace Responded. “Really?” May asked as she wiped her tears off. “Yes. Why are you asking anyway?” “Oh, n-n-nothing.” “You can’t hide it May, I can read you mind.” Ace said, smiling. “You know it already.” “Of course, You know that you’re the one whom I loved.” “W-w-what? That’s not what I was thinking of!” May exclaimed. “Don’t lie.” He said. She then hugged him. “You do know how painful it is to be left alone, right?” “Yes, I have.” He replied. They both returned home and the problem, is once again, resolved.

Chapter 3: Day 1
Chapter 3
A Cousin’s Call (Crossover)
As the group clean up and prepare the house, Ace and May are in the market, buying items that they would need. “This is good! I cannot believe that I’m with him! He can’t escape me now.” May said to herself.
Back at the house…
“I can’t believe that Ace can afford an enormous house!” Katie said. “He could’ve just bought six houses, but he chose the one that’s a few dollars more expensive.” Jake complained. “I’m okay with that, but he bought the one with only three huge bedrooms!” Phoenix exclaimed. “I’m okay with all of those. But the question is, how will he divide us by bedrooms?” Blaze said as he entered the living room. “Maybe he would divide us boy-boy one the two rooms and girl-girl in one room.” Jake suggested. “Hmm… Maybe you’re right… but then again… I don’t know. Let’s just wait for them. Oh, right. I remembered something! We should check on how May is doing with Ace.” Katie enthusiastically said. Katie took her phone out of the bag while the others started looking for theirs.
Meanwhile at the market….
While Ace was comparing the fruits, May suddenly approached him. “Umm… Ace…” May said, shivering in nervousness. “Yes, May?” Ace replied. “I want to talk to you about something.” She said, blushing while looking down. Then May’s cell phone suddenly rang “Excuse me for a while.” May said in disdain.
CONVERSATION ON THE PHONE:
Katie: Hi May! How are you doing with Ace?
May: What? Nothing is still happening! I was about to talk to him then you called!!!
Katie: Oh, sorry then. [Blaze and the others are laughing in the background.]
May: [louder tone] THAT’S NOT FUNNY!!!
Blaze: [takes phone from Katie] To us, that is![ returns phone to Katie]
Katie: Sorry May, I, err, we thought that it was already over by now…
May: Well, it’s okay. You didn’t know, bye. [May hangs up the call.]
-END OF CONVERSATION-
As May hung up, she turned around and saw Ace already at the counter, paying the bought items.
A few minutes later, Ace and May were home. Ace then went to the kitchen and arranged the bought items.
When he returned to the living room, apparently, everyone was already there. He then showed everyone a bundle of sticks. “Okay, I’m going to start dividing the rooms. Each one of these sticks have colors at the other end. Everyone will take one stick, and find the other who has the same color. There are three colors, blue, red, and green. The colors have corresponding rooms. Blue gets the best view and temperature because it’s near the pond. The red gets the most escaping advantage because of the location. The green has the most attention from the outside because the building beside it is an apartment.” Ace explained with enthusiasm
As everyone picked, everyone was satisfied, in exception to Ace. Why you ask? This is why:
[Warning: Ace thinks that the set-up was mocked.]
Blue: AceMay
Red: PhoenixJake
Green: BlazeKatie
[Man, this is hell for Blaze and Katie…]
After dinner, Phoenix and Jake prepared themselves and went to their room. They slept earlier than that of the others.
Late at night, 11:00 PM
Katie and Blaze snooped around the house near Ace and May’s room. They still hear the two talking.
The two listened through the door and heard this.
“Ace… Please don’t…” May frightfully said. “No use hiding, May.” Ace laughingly said.
“You can’t… Please… No…” May said twice as frightened as the first. “I can, and I will…” Ace said as he went in front of the door. Katie suddenly kicked down the door. “ACE, YOU PERVERT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MAY?!” Katie shouted. When she looked around, she saw Ace under the broken door, out cold. “May, where are you?” Katie asked. May appeared from behind the table. “What did you do to Ace?” May inquired. “I just kicked down the door and found him there. What was he doing to you?” Katie calmly asked. “We were playing paintball, but the target is the wall. I’m running out of targets to protect and he threatened to shoot the last two targets. It was only a game. But, at the same time, it helps paint the room.” May explained. “But… I thought… That he…” Katie said, stuttering. Blaze put his hand on Katie’s shoulder and said “Ah Katie. The spirit of innocence is something that you don’t have.” Katie then smacked Blaze with a book that was lying around the room. “What does that mean?!” Katie angrily said. “Well, sorry for the late night fuss, goodnight.” Blaze said as they returned to their room. A few minutes later, Ace awakened. He then repaired the door and arranged the room. As they were preparing their beds, May asked Ace is she can put her bed near to his. He said yes. “Back then, May wasn’t anything like this. She was this tomboy-ish person, now, she’s like a real girl. Strange.” Ace thought. When he looked, May was done pulling her bed. It is only five feet away from his. They both immediately slept.
Blaze and Katie’s room, 12:00 MN
After setting up, Blaze looked out the window. He saw a girl by the window of the apartment. “Hey Blaze.” She said. “Who? How do you know my name?” Blaze nervously said. “Idiot! It’s me, Sarah! Don’t you recognize me?” Sarah said, laughing. “Oh, sorry, it’s dark. I can’t see well.” Blaze replied. “Wow, I didn’t know that you were gonna move here.” She said in confusion. “It isn’t just me, the whole group actually moved here, Ace paid for the house.” Blaze explained. “Well, he’d be surprised to see me here tomorrow. Goodnight.” Sarah said as she closed the window.
-End Of Day 1-
