Arigato Sensei-san,
I think this was a great lesson opener. Vowels are part of language basics right. So let me see, "o" sounds like oi, "e" sounds like ell and "u" sounds like fooh. Ink is easy so I get "i". Did I get those right? Can't wait for the next part of lesson one. You rock Sensei.

If you're on a Mac, you can change the language by going into "System Preferences" and clicking, "Iternation"
But I don't know how to do it if you're on a Windows....

Very good! But you're off on a couple, these are the examples that my teacher gave me, but he was there to speak them for us; here's a run down:
A - like "Ahhh, that feels good"
I - like "Eel"
E - as in, "eh?"
O - like, "Oooohhhh SHIT!!"
U - is in, "You"
I should have changed them, but thank you for writing this out loud, it really helps!
This next week is going to be a tough one for me, so I might not be able to get on at all, I will try to get a lesson up however!
Sayonara,
Sensei
