Disappointed and Frustrated (slight rant)

What the is problems with the United States making anything?

So I learned that a good, quality company with a long history has finally sold themselves out like many other companies.

Craftsman is no longer a "Made in USA" company. They now have all their tools, except screw drives, made in China.

What is becoming of this country and the way we conduct ourselves. Where has the pride gone for the United States to produce our own goods? If you go into a store looking for something and ask if they have any made in the US, they look at you like you are stupid. It is really frustrating and annoying.

I understand that the United States is not the only place that produce goods but I like to pay the workers in my own country, not some other country that is using out raw materials.

United States, Japan, Germany, England, Turkey, and Canada make quality goods that are worth the price then the crap coming out of China. There are plenty of countries so much better then China but greed has become the important thing in society today.

Just sad to see a great U.S company who's name had a great standard fall to the depths of selling out for more money. A company who's life time warranty was something you almost never used because of the great quality of tool. When will pride come back to a country that was once referred to the "Iron Giant" and keep the work and money back into it's own people.

I apologize for the rant but this is just a disappointment and frustrating. Becoming harder and harder to find anything still made with any sense of quality.
