    It'd be fantastic to live in a world where there was no exiling of others and everybody supported each other. That idea only exists in pockets, though - pockets of people that can see when people are hurting and help them. If the world as a whole could learn to act like those pockets, I'd be one happy pocket.

    On another note, nice to find another guy on here. I was worried that males on TheOtaku were an endangered species.

    Boobs and video games aren't "stupid". Breasts are highly functional with the right timing, and highly attractive any other time. Video games, when not abused are usually educational. Well, those and the ones about blowing sh!t up. But that's anger management. Still not stupid.

    Wouldn't it be amazing if "Love" happened? Even among friends and families bullies exist. Yet maybe there are people that love others, not because they DESERVE to be loved but because they want to.

    And on respect, there are crowds that base their whole lives around their selfish reputation, and without a reputation they don't think they're worthy of respect. Yet what if we give the benefit of the doubt and respect a total stranger? Not trust them yet, but just respect them for just being a person. Trust comes with time, and by no means should it be given carelessly, yet don't we all want to be respected, instead of put down and insulted?

    Sure, some of us thrive off of being put down and grow stronger because of it (or so those people say), yet this world does not take kindly to push-overs. I wish that we could all learn to humble ourselves and raise others up, then not by our strength but by the strength of many will we be lifted. We are stronger when we work together.

    Yup. From what I see, guys are too obsessed with stupid things like boobs and video games (not all guys, but some.) I'd still be obsessed, but not at a severe level.

    You raise a valid point. However, the people I was referring to are individuals with no interest in proper social interaction. Their idea of a good time is visiting websites of ill-repute. They're mired in some weird stupor that they don't want to break out of.

    It's true that everybody that shuns has a core issue as well. I won't deny that. But we live in a world that doesn't want to build people up. It's a culture of death where everyone is to fend for themselves and not care whether they step on others to do so. We've fallen so far, random acts of kindness - which should be a regular occurrence - are plastered on the news like a UFO sighting. I wish there could be a shake-up in this culture that would give people the eyes to see the goodness in others and want to positively influence it; to "to raise each other up, to compliment strength and to encourage it to grow," as you so well put it.

    @CitrusStorm:

    Let's look at the other end of the spectrum: I tend to avoid perverted thoughts, most of which aren't even mine. I'm hardly famous.

    I think everyone has a weakness that they can be shunned for. Too perverted, too violent, too boring, too much bust, too lazy, too depressing, too dark, etc.

    The list goes on. Every one that shuns has something wrong with them too. It's much better to raise each other up, to compliment strength and to encourage it to grow. If we're putting others down, or viewing others as a simple object, does that really make us better?
